CDPR hasn't really released anything useful yet. I think just some extraction tool? We will have to see if they ever release anything more substantial, until then we will only have simple mods like what is already out. The source code was stolen and sold so hopefully modders can get their hands on that for some hardcore mods. Still working on my mod, spent like 18 hours yesterday on it. Posters and holographics are pretty quick and easy, it's the billboard stuff that takes forever because you need to account for the moving parts and make it look good when it's animating and in various different size formats. Lots of trial and error!

 

Maybe 25% of posters done. Maybe 20% of billboard ads done but many need to be re-done/fixed. Sometimes they don't look right or the sizes look bad, and many of them have multiple texture files you need to edit or you get something like this.

 

 

Definitely gonna take a while more before I get anything worth releasing out.

They released some stuff, none of it gets you to sexlab or anims. Call it a gesture.

@shouganai, thank you, I would like something like that, and to use that as Source too add my own Ads (Futanari ones), as for in-game TVs Videos, what Format they have?, could be nice to add Sex Videos, to the TVs, etc...

They did but it's basic stuff to unpack the game archives so people can figure where model and textures are and replace them: Something that modders kinda figured out n their own already but still good as the tool is now delivered with CDPR 

No real tool for scripting officially

 

Overall it seems CDPR stance on modding is very laissez faire. they won't stop it and even are cool with people using their assets (except for Keanu asset but it's likely more for them to not end up with a story like: "mother caught her kid wank off watching keanu fuck him in lates CDPR game") but beyond that they won't really invest too much energy on making modding of their game easier

 

So yeah tools are basic but don't expect much more. After that it's mosdtly hoping for few talented modders find modding of this game compelling enough to slave through it

Yes I'd like to edit the videos too but I'm going to do all the other ads first. Videos will probably be a second mod if I am able to.

I know it looks like a lot of futa in my screens but it is actually mostly female. Probably 80/20 female/futa. I will probably not do multiple versions because this mod is going to take well over 100 hours to complete. I've already put in around 40 hours and I'm not even close to half way done. Feel free to edit my files after I release something though!

 

There are 109 billboard ads, and each one you need to find a picture with an angle or POV of a character that fits, often requiring cutting out backgrounds, resizing, fixing the colors so it appears right. I also try to match the theme of the ad, like a soda ad having a girl drinking soda, etc. Yesterday I spent almost 2 hours on a single ad and it's still not perfect.  Because there are 4 or more different formats the ads need to fit you need to load up the game and check how it looks to see if it's ok. Often it ends up cropped weird, or the moving parts don't line up right.

 

Trying to make everyone happy so I'm trying for a good balance of content.

Despite editing caliente_atlus, caliente_atlus_1080p and caliente_atlus_720p, it still shows some of the old picture for some reason. Is there other archives the ads show in besides basegame_4_gamedata? This has happened for a couple other ads I edited, too.

Yeah I had no luck too. Also tried editing the home screen so I can put "EcchiPunk" next to the cyberpunk logo, but nothing I do can change it.

I really think we need a proper Cyberpunk 2077 mod section on this site now, before it all starts getting scrappy and disorganised on reporting what's out there...

 

I've probably now got at least 20-30 mods installed on my CB2077 game, not all adult content of course but all of which dramatically increase my interest in the game. There are still so many restrictions on modding it yet, due to CDPR only releasing enough information to unpack certain files and not yet providing what we might call 'full mod support' or toolkits.

 

Nevertheless there's a lot of talent going in already from many dedicated mod providers. There is clearly a huge demand for adult oriented modding in the game but it will be some time. One  of the key limitations appears to be the lack of animations outside of screen sequences for so many of the characters and the way that at present all clothing and body mods rely on ' item replacement' only, as brand new content items can not easily be created.

 

With an adult theme in mind the mods I have most used and enjoyed so far are

 

Underwear remover - this early mod cancels out the imposed vanilla underwear in full and allows in-game nudity (on nexus) 

 

TPP (third person) this mod gets better every week, and from a brave and buggy start i's the nearest thing now to a proper switchable character view ( 3rd person in game and first FPS in combat) so this means that you can have full avatar visibility in game and thus enjoy skimpy clothing mods, nudity, body retextures and other stuff starting to emerge. (on nexus)

 

Various clothing mods (all replacers for existing items) already allow the player character ('V') to adopt the far more skimpy, see thru, revealing clothing items worn by many female NPCs in the streets, bars and club dancers, which again creates a more adult atmosphere, along with a mod that strips underwear from many female NPCs where possible. ( all on nexus details on request)

 

Advertising replacers (adult content) as shown by LL poster @nikoli grimm are starting to enhance the quality and 'sexy' aspect of much of the in-game billboards 

 

'BodyMod' is the first actual replacement body mod for female player character (and NPC) offering (slightly) increased breast size and larger butt sizes or a mixture of both but no sliders. This suffers from some clothing clipping becaue all CDPR in-game clothing reverts the avatar back to the lower breast size option in standard game. Bodymod lacks poly count on the revised shape, especially on breasts but is a starter effort in the direction of what might eventually we all hope be a Caliente/Bodyslide type development... (a long way to go ) (on nexus) 

 

Appearance Menu - allows player to change NPC appearances (within their set ranges) and in some cases to their nude models which can persist in game (major characters only) or to evoke alternative female NPC outfits which are more revealing and set those as favourites on NPCs. This mod is the first 'follower' mod which allows you to set in game characters as followers (5 max) but there is no equivalent to 'SexLabs' or any way to 'interact' in any adult fashion with them at this time even if you can dress them skimpily (on nexus) 

 

no sign of any body/breast physics yet or slider based body alteration, apparently all hindered by lack of real provision for modding at this time...

 

As an example, I am showing a photo of my current 'V' avatar in adult pose and see thru attire with third person view, nudity enabled and bodymod (chest only) applied

It seems no ad replacers for Cyberpunk have found it worth staying at Nexus thus far.  I doubt they'd treat shouganai's any differently.  Thanks for the update and all your hard work!  Looking forward to see what you have planned, shouganai!

please help  me. when i try to install any mods they dont seem to work. i tried to installed rouge nude model, i put the .archive file in Cyberpunk2077>archive>pc>content but nothing changes. i have the Appearance menu mod and that works just fine but when i swap the model to try to make it nude nothing it differant. please help what am i doing wrong?

 

 

If i have CET am i suppose to just drop those .archive files into the mods folder?

What is the issue with nexus and advertising replacement mods? I see they have taken them all down and they are all 'under moderation'? I'm not sure why they do this, after all these are not RL existing companies just in-game brands?

You must drop it in Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\patch\  like any other mods with *.archive

my file is not set up that way though, where the patch path should be the folder is called content. should i just change the name? is that really the fix

archive\pc\content is for basic game archives

archive\pc\patch is for archives that overrides previous (for mods)

You need to make a new folder called "patch" and put it in the "pc" folder. Then put all your mods in the "patch" folder and everything should work.

Reading in the comments they say that LUA files can be open with notepad but I can't understand how to work what is writen inside.

without Cyber Engine Tweaks most mods won't work at all. I've been using it since it came out and haven't had any problems with it at all.
