You need to remove 4.3 and any patches you have for it before upgrading to 5.1. Yes, it is the merged version with DDa, DDi, DDx, and DDc. You need a new game when going from 4.3 to 5.x, upgrading is not supported. If you also use DCL, then you might as well upgrade DCL to 9.0 as well, as going from DCL 8.x to 9.0 also requires a new game. 1

DDx DDe, and DCL has zipsuits and catsuits that are great and all, but I'd really like to replace those models with something a little more transparent. Is there anyway I can do this? In DCL, I was able to change out the body_0.nif, body_1.nif files with success, but the other mods do not have any relevant .nif files. Can someone help me find that?

It would also need UUNP bodyslides to be available to everyone who's using DD. 1
Prime66 Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 Hey, I have a bit of an issue with DDC. I made two scenes where the player ends up locked in Contraptions. When I first tested it, everything was fine. Everything showed up nicely, so I went back and worked on other stuff; however, when I started testing again, I noticed that contraptions sometimes disappear and only show again once the animation changes. Any ideas why this would happen? In case it's relevant: I used an XCross and Gallows pole suspend hogtie. And I turned off Force Stip on both devices in their respective references.

This is a replacement for the older individual files; the Assets, Expansion, and Integration .esm files are all included in this new bundle.

For mods such as Mimic cloths, or Kyne's Blessing? While the current system works, it would be nice to have more alive variations of sounds & messages to accompany such mods. While acquiring sounds may be difficult it seems like simply adding a bio tag and different versions of normal DD messages would be easy enough? I dont really know more just curious on the front of difficulty. If need be I could assist in writing if that would help.

I was using NMM and did not change in a while, but thanks to you I installed Mod Organizer 2. It took me a while to take care of everything but now it's done. So I can say I'm not missing any ESM, and using LOOT on my load order doesn't change my problem. I guess I'll have to focus on xEdit to find the problem then. Does anyone know what might be overwritten? Might it be the armour itself? The ArmorAddon part? Should I search for something with the same FormID which would explain the fact that I don't see the harnesses in game? Sorry if I'm bothering you, but I never had to do such things before, so I'm a bit lost EDIT : OK the problem is stranger than planned. I decided to uninstall all my mods except DD and its requirements (and Alternate Start to start a new save easily) then started a new game. It happens that I still have the problem with male characters. I tried first with a male Argonian, then a male Nord and I still have the problem. When I tried with a female Nord, I didn't have the problem though. My load order seems fine so I don't really know what's the problem here, but it doesn't look like a conflict with another mod

I looked in bodyslide but at least these two items weren't listed there. I don't know if any other device is afflicted as well because i didn't tested them all, only a few from the new ones. What should i do? are there presets for the uunp body somewhere to find?

I just looked at this merged version of dd. if i remove the older versions entirely all the bodyslide presets will be removed as well because they seem to be not included in this merged version. even the bodyslide presets from the new items are missing. i don`t know how to create them by myself, i only know how to use already made presets in bodyslide. Edit: I just found out that the damn NMM did something wrong by installing this mod. Forget what i said, all the presets seems to be there but the Nexus Mod Manager seems to have trouble by installing this mod.

In the new DD SE, the bodyslides are under a new group, but they are all still there. You should have these at minimum with DD 5.x. I have converted the new outfits to CBBE SE and they are all there. The only one missing outfits is the 3BA version that you download from elsewhere, but the CBBE SE should mostly fit, with just some HDT weight differences between the two bodies. If you are using some flavor of UNP, you should have something like DD Framework UUNP, the other two groups, and a DD Binders group for arm/elbow binders.

I'm having problems harnesses on my male PC and I happen to also have problems with straightjackets (but I don't know if they are handled by For Him). What problem are you having, and with which outfit? (In game name?)

It includes its other colors and it if it's lockable or not. I also tried the "catsuit straightjacket" but the body of my character turned invisible. It's only on male characters, it works on female ones. I only tried these, I can try others, but I know for example that the "rope harness" work All the requirements are up to date and I install Devious Devices through Mod Organizer 2. It will say "[device] successfully removed" but I'll still have it on me and in my inventory. The only way I can take it off reliably is by removing the locks through console and sometimes by using the DCL safeword. I'm using DCL, SD+, Sexlab Survival, and Deviously Pink (although I haven't done anything with Deviously Pink), all on their latest versions and all of this on a new game. Also, I can't remember if this is normal, but when I click on a locked device to remove it, the little arrow pointing to it on my inventory disappears as if I have removed it, but it is still visibly on my character and I still haven't even interacted with the DD menu. Hope that makes sense

Hope that makes sense Do you have 'no enchantment restrictions' mod? It breaks the locks. the arrow thing is normal, it comes back if you click something else or reopen inventory.

At least it solves the problem for the straightjacket. I checked my files and do have maleharnessbody.nif in my files. I opened it with Outfit Studio and it's looking good, so no idea either... I'll try again with all the deviced I can think off and see if others have problems. I'll post a list when it's done EDIT : It seems to be only harnessses. Ebonite straightjacket worked, armbind and elbowbinder work (even if my character's arms were still visible), dresses work. Pet suit didn't but I don't think there's For Him meshes (he still acted as he was bound though). So I guess it's only harnesses, and the one derived from MaleHarnessBody only since rope harnesses work.
disagree11 Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 I have no idea if this is difficult or troublesome to implement, but wouldn't it be nice if the elbow shackles can be equipped at the same time with simple wrist restraints? I suppose a person can have tied wrists and tied elbows at the same time? Or maybe we can see a version of armbinder types of devices that are actually just combinations of cuffs and elbow shackles? Just a random idea though. Love this mod and all those DD-related mods out there
xyzxyz Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Hi, I have a problem with chastity bras. The breast show through the bra. Breast Node managment is enabled and I have no ideas anymore what to do. I have build the devices with bodyslide many times. Edit: I just build the DDs with bodyslide again and now the bra shows almost correctly. But It's way flatter than the breast are nacked. WHat did I mess up this time?
