Not sure what you mean by that. But you have your answer - skyrim's limitations keep the "type a name in a box" option from being possible at this time. If you would like to try to fix that yourself, please feel free. It would be a nice thing to have.

it is simply about public whore, that you get a random destination where ayou have to spend your next 7 days. the author wanted to make a destination to choose, but he didnt. he dont make anything with the mod anymore. if you have to take all mods out of your game that are abandoned, then your load order is very short.

if anybody could make that destination to choode in puvlic whore, all would be happy.  we are talking about an outcome of ss++, so thats the first place to ask for.

  • Even if Public Whore is abandoned, and not just on hold til further notice, this is not the proper thread for your request.
  • Only someone w/ permission from the author can upload any changes.
  • You are free to use the Creation Kit or XEdit to make changes for your own personal use and NOT publicize them.
  • You can wait for the author to take care of their RL concerns and maybe get back to it if they choose
  • You can make your request, if you haven't already, in the PW topic thread and hope another modder contacts the author for permission to make changes or a patch.
  • Otherwise, just save often and reload if you don't like an outcome or roleplay that small holds need morale boosting too and that a jarl concerned for the welfare of their citizens might purchase a Public Whore. Slaves don't get choices, after all. ?

SS doesn't do anything with the mods to which you are sent other than, you know, send you. So it would not be able to change the place Public Whore utilizes.

Yes, I agree with @just_Gina. Simple Slavery is not intended to be a hardcore bondage experience. With Simple Slavery, you choose the destination or freedom in the MCM.

 

You can roleplay that you cannot escape from the Simple Slavery holding pen, but the mod does not actually enforce that.

Very likely a bad installation.  Try reinstalling the mod.  Also, check that you have not patched (broken) the mod (the patch for the door for Open Cities is actually okay).

It was never intended to be exploit proof.  But it is odd to be able to click the crux from inside the cage, and simple to place a collision marker to prevent that, so I'll do so for the next update.

Well, it's 'normal' to be able to interact through bars, since they don't completely block collision.  It's like how I can set fire to half the room from inside the cage with magic if I have half a mind to.  Could also just put some handcuffs on the PC or something the second they enter in.  Whichever.

So i'm having trouble getting this mod to run on SE, I don't see any MCM for it and I tried downloading DD as someone mentioned before but It didn't fix anything sadly :(. I tried redownloading a couple times as well and that hasn't fixed  anything so i'm not sure what other steps to take. I also tried a fresh save but no luck. Im using the latest version (6.3.12) so does anyone have any suggestions?

If a mod's MCM does not appear, that's a huge warning that something is wrong, either with the way that you installed the mod, or with your game itself.  A non-appearing MCM is a generic problem, so I can only suggest general remedies:

 

Reinstall the mod.  That often works for people.


Reinstall SkyUI, and check that you're not using an old version.

 

Try "setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1" in the console and wait a minute or two.

 

Enter any other mod's MCM menu, then exit and wait a minute.

 

If it's still not working, you might have a script-heavy game or a game that's become unstable.  There's no solution for that.


You should try with a new game with a greatly reduced set of mods.  Leave out ones that you don't really need.  If that works, you can add them back in gradually.

Im using Vortex to install my mods, Since I installed SS++ the same way as devious devices just now and that is working im not sure if that's the issue. I double checked Skyui and its up to date, I also reinstalled it. I reinstalled SS++ one more time. I opened another mod in the MCM (SL kidnapped redux) and waited a minute. I also tried the console command you suggested. I guess all thats left is to try running the game with some barebones mods and see if that does the trick :( thank you for the suggestions though! :)

huh, so I knocked down the heavy scripted mods and ran it again with as little as possible. It didn't help, I was just about ready to throw in the towel, but I tried reinstalling ZAZ and it did the trick!

i didn't understand how to add slave mod to simple slavery can someone explain please (i have download S.L.U.T and meat farm but they didn't appear in the mod's MCM) (i use votex for mod managment)

 

P.S. Im not used to play skyrim with mod so explain me like you are explaining to a 5 years old child

I just download again every mod and its working yay!!

Thank you!  I never wanted to complain, because I am really grateful for all of the modders here and elsewhere, but it was immersion-breaking and I did not like mixing fantasy victims with real victims (albeit historical and long deceased).

People just see things in different ways (and I'm pretty sure that you weren't offended or anything).  There's a balancing act when handling fantasy themes that are very serious matters in real life.  I really like the Lincoln quote.  I also personally like a clear separation between reality and fantasy.  I generally go with very little reference to real life in an immersive game like Skyrim, but it can sometimes be tricky to decide where to draw the line, and each player has different desires and expectations.

Well, it was really more a game for myself to see if anyone would even recognize the names of the other slaves. And then I just like the Lincoln quote. XD

 

 edit: in retrospect, maybe I should have slightly reworded the lincoln quote and attributed it to some Skyrim personage

well... half of the mods linked to SS make no sense.

also there is already Ravenbeak Prison linked to SS.

 

I think we just have to stop trying to make sense of a fantasy world that was turned into an advanced porn game. 

 

Because in fact I was working on integrating POP (even managed to get it working for me) but was afraid it would not be implemented because of arguments like that. 

Also I was told I cannot use the NPC in the room to make it work (which worked flawless...)

(I made an NPC from the auction pick up the PC for POP after the auction. This way you could have the nice feature of beeing walked to the prison you got sold to... a unique feature that no other mod ever accomplished.

The NPC also was back in the auction room when needed all the time).

 

Also, I think POP would be one of very few mods that are really working well that are linked to SS (meaning it ends eventually...) AND can be played repeatedly. 

And even for "make sense":

Some corrupt guards put their bribe money together to buy an awesome slave that they can throw in their prison for endless rape. Still cheaper than bad hookers! Makes sense to me at least ^^

Who told you that you couldn't use one of the room NPCs? Not me and I doubt it was Hex. Unless there's more to the story.

 

Regardless, no reason an NPC couldn't be included by SS if POP was added, same as they were for SD and Lola. 

 

 

As an aside, Devious Framework did the "walk to" thing successfully, if a little inconsistently. ;)

Im currently trying to troubleshoot something thats connected with SS++, Slavetats, and the PW slavery mod.

 

My overall mod-list is smol at the moment, so i doubt there's another mod causing the particular issue, i think its more that something isnt talking to something else properly.

 

It's a minor thing, but still trying to figure out whats up :)

 

It has to do with the 'town marking' that 'should' be added via slave-tats when Public Whore starts. This seems to work if you start that mod via the two 'quests' in the mod that'll trigger it, but when it comes to SS++ using PW as an outcome, those town-tattoos are not added.

 

Have you heard of anyone else having this issue? (or happened to try the PW mod yourself perhaps?) Just trying to track down what might be causing the town marking tattoo's not to show up automatically after being dropped into PW from SS++ :)

 

Again, not a major thing.. just something im trying to troubleshoot.  All other aspects of the Slavetats/rapetats/fadetats works flawlessly, SS++ runs flawlessly, and everything within PW runs flawlessly.... except for the town tattoo's which 'should' be applied at the start of PW, when entering it 'from' SS++ :)

It looks like the author of Public Whore has already answered your question.  It's just an oversight in PW.
