Thanks this worked. Auction ended but took 3 tries for an outcome to happen. I only have two mods for this so I may try adding more like Submissive Lola and Public Whore.

If you had one or both of the mods you had installed check marked, it should have worked the first time. What mods are they?

There had been issues with previous versions of DCL with the Leon/Leah quest, be sure to use the current version both of this and that mod.

 

But as Jfraser already said, SS++ works with only one mod for the outcome. Last time I triggerd it, was from SLtR when I quit being Mistress' slave, and was sold to the same owner - which was fine by me, because that's my trick to get rid of that pesky EFF wheel.

Oh, yeah. You don't want to go anywhere near Mia's Lair until you're pretty high level. There are some seriously tough fights involved.

Well, I'm attempting to make it work in my favor. I've been playing around with the Succubus Heart mod these past few days. I managed to separate Grunt from Vessa, then surrendered to him via Defeat and let him abuse my girl for a bit in an effort to build some skill and stat points that way. After a while, I managed to get my girl to seduce him via dialogue and am slowly killing him via drain with Succubus Heart. I'll let you know how well this turns out. It was pretty frustrating at first because I hadn't a clue what I was supposed to do. Then when I read that you are actually supposed to kill Grunt and Vessa, I laughed and said to myself, this could actually prove interesting, though it might take a while. If anything, my poor girl will just have to suffer a lot of abuse via Defeat until she builds enough through Succubus Heart to be competitive.

So, that didn't go quite the way I thought it would. Vess refused to die and the other two were still alive because my girl seduced them to the point they allied with her, so when I finally figured out what I was supposed to do with Vess, it got kind of awkward. Otherwise, I got through the first part without actually dying and managed to level up a bit along the way, so it can be done with the right mods and in the right sequence.

So I probably should have read more about this, but I downloaded cause BaboDialogue said it could work with this. No clue how or why tho. But that's Babo. As for the Simple Slavery mods, I looked at them all and the only good ones require the outrageously massive Devious Devices. That's a requirement I'm definitely never getting. Like wtf? It's massive and ZAZ has plenty of stuff for Devious Followers and yet it still requires DD. Can Devious Followers work with this without Devious Devices? 

 

Or better question maybe. Are there any lite mods that aren't gigabytes large or don't require gigabytes of downloads that work with Simple Slavery? Like Devious Followers anyways? Cause it seems cool, but why make DD a hard requirement. It looks like the mod would still function fine without that stuff. 

 

When I first heard of Simple Slavery, I assumed some like bandits or some shit would enslave me or a new follower  or something. But no, just a bunch of super whack stuff like that Submissive Lola mod and the weird naked racing mods??? Idk. Is there any hope in the future that Simple Slavery can just operate on its own? Like not needing any defeat or play death alternative or Devious Devices. Just Zaz and slaves and babodialogue, whatever the hell that does, that's it. Like any chance at all?

No.  Understand that Simply Slavery is just an auction scene that hands you off to an enslavement mod.  It's a gateway to those mods; it doesn't do enslavement itself.  It's often used by various mods because it lets the player choose the possible enslavement outcomes (based on the enslavement mods the player has installed), so a mod can just say "You're captured by bandits and sold into slavery" and let Simple Slavery handle getting you there.

You should reconsider.  Devious Devices is a large download, but unless you're really tight for disk space, having it opens the door to a lot of content.  Like Zaz Animation Pack, it's a framework that other mods use.  Devious Followers requires it.  Many other mods require it.  It gives you access to interesting devices not available in Zaz.

 

If you don't want to install Devious Devices, the original Submissive Lola mod works without it.  However, you're simply left standing on the auction platform and told to go find a master to submit to, so that doesn't integrate well, and the original Submissive Lola is an entirely consensual mod, so you can just ask to end the enslavement at any time.  It can be fun, though.  Another option is the new Public Whore mod, if that interests you.  The author is diligently fixing some initial problems, so the ride might be a little bumpy, but players are having fun with it.

 

If none of the available enslavement mods suit you, then you don't need Simple Slavery (unless you like "catch & release", where you're simply set free).  You could still use a combat defeat mod to rob you and impose some sort of consequence short of enslavement.

The ol' standby Sanguine's Debauchery does not require DD and does exactly what you requested. 

 

Also, btw, not the most politic of ideas to disparage a mod in the support thread of a mod made by the exact same author.

To avoid any confusion, Sanguine's Debauchery Plus (SD+) does require Devious Devices.  The older original version does not.

You make a great point. Exactly what I'd expect you to say too. Thank you very much. I appreciate it. Perhaps I will try it with DD, because I may not like all the elements of Devious Followers, but if it's not customizable...I'll probably just end up working on it for weeks until it's what I want. I don't think I've downloaded more than a few hundred mods I didn't edit. But I really worship your work. Before this, I was using my own personal version of Simple Slavery and when I tried installing this over it...oh jeez, bad stuff happened to my game. Lol. So I just cleaned all that out and started using this plus plus without touching it myself. All I'm really going to do is mess with forcegreet packages to make them more...forceful. lol

 

You have an amazing one. I'm gonna take your advice and let you know how it turns out maybe. I'll be watching. Youre a badass modder.

Don't know if this has already been resolved, so apologies if I sound like a broken record. 

 

Whenever I get sent to an auction, nothing happens. I talk to the guy who explains "why I am here", I black out, wake back up on the stage, but nothing happens as a result. While I can be impatient, I have waited for about 5-10 minutes just to make sure but nothing happened; nor did I see anything in console (if there even is anything to see there lol).  I have SD+ and a prison mod installed, so something should happen I think. I went ahead and put Simple Slavery at the bottom of my load order, since I saw that as a potential fix, but nothing. Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

Edit: I love the premise of the mod, adds a bit more "immersion" for what you'd expect this time period to be like!

did you toggle the mods ON in SS MCM? I think they dont toggle themselves even in newer versions. 
but I thought when nothing is toggled you should be thrown outside of riften, hmm. 

try if other SS compatible mods work, like Public Whore

Yes, I made sure to enable them in the SS MCM. But I'll go ahead and see if I can get another SS mod. I'll also see if I get thrown out after I uncheck all the mods in SS. Btw, how long does it take to get thrown out?

As far as I know I do, but I'll reinstall just in case I'm using an older version.

 

Also, update, after installing Slaves of Tamriel and enabling it, nothing happened. I also tried to disable everything and I didn't get kicked out or anything.

DD has been required for SD+ for literally years, you must have a very old version haha. That pre-DD version really was the closest thing to a "simple" "slavery" mod, just kneeling animation, collar, sex, and an escape mechanic.

Did you start a new game after installing this mod, or did you install it part way through a game? I could be wrong but I think I remember the mod won't work unless you start a new game.
