One last thing i noticed: sometimes some yps functions would sporadically freeze. Opening and closing either the menu or the console was enough to unfreeze them.

 

 

Looked through the differences: There's no need to incorporate the SE changes into MM1's tweaks as the important bits (the support for "skee" instead of the "nioverride" plugin) is in YpsHeelsNio, which MM1's tweaks didn't change.

Sorry, this took so long, wanted to have better news for JayDrizzle's issue, but alas i've given up for now.

 

 

Thanks for following up and getting back to me.  I appreciate looking into it as the SSE conversion could have been a linchpin in messing with many people who are working with YPS on SSE.  For example, DeepBlueFrog has just started using the monoman1 tweak as the basis for integrating Hormones with YPS.  If the SSE conversion did change anything that would have gotten lost in conversion with the MM1 tweak it would have continued into other mods.  So even if my issue was not fixed it is great news for others.

 

At this point I am sure that the issue is mostly my failed modding attempts.  I (like probably most people) have pushed my load order to the max and YPS was the straw that broke Skyrim.  I have an almost perfectly stable game until I add YPS to the load order.  Looking at the Papyrus Logs I do notice two things that might point at my problem.  The main things I see are :

Unable to link types associated with function

Unable to link type of variable on objects

Unable to link type of property on objects

Property ....... on script ypshairscript attached to YPS03Hair (FE05F531) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property

Hi folks, I wanted to get a little feedback about how the mod handles detecting of the SOS female pubic hair. I am looking to claw back from spaces in my load order, and the SOS schlong modules, with their relatively small record counts, are strong candidates.

 

Does SOS use a technique like getformfromfile where it's sensitive to form IDs? Do I need to update and recompile any scripts? Or is it safe to compact the form IDs for the female pubics as long as the editor IDs and other characteristics remain the same?

I am also not getting the devious chastity quest from the torn page in Riften. I did run CAO with no errors, and the mod seems to be initialized and functioning properly except for this. Any suggestions on how to fix?

 

EDIT: Is the Devious Chastity Piercing.esp supposed to be above or below yps-ImmersivePiercing.esp?

Been working on Wigs to headpart converter scripts the past few weekends, to get this mod as regular hairs in yps.

 

A pre-release version of one of those 3 mods is available here: edit: file is up on the mod page


for creating the necessary .json files for yps if anyone wants to volunteer :)

nexus seems to flag the uploaded .exe file as malicious, presumable because it's been built with pyinstaller, see here: https://github.com/pyinstaller/pyinstaller/issues/680

I had the same issue and dug in the files a little bit.   The mod looks for WyreBash and Original Skyrim versions...

A quick but perhaps dirty fix is to extract outside of the mod manager, edit the Wizard.txt.

(There are likely better alternatives and I have yet to test this in-game so please by all means feel free to correct me, and this method crashes my MO2 after the small wizard menu, but the mod seems to be properly installed upon re-launch of MO2.)

I found a fix. Set the top folder as the data directory.

NMM has always had trouble with mod installation, and the whole multiple files approach that YPS uses for its mod archives means that it's even higher risk with NMM. You may want to seriously consider moving up to a modern mod manager like MO2 or Vortex. That said, if your heart is set on NMM, then you might want to do a "fake" manual install in a temp folder somewhere, then re-zip everything in a single file and install that in NMM.

Thank you for helping. I tried both methods, but couldn't get CBBE on racemenu on Nexus so I went back to NMM and oddly Nexus and NMM are sharing files or something so the mod works now.

Intriguing... not exactly the result I anticipated, but I'm glad everything worked out in the end! I know for my wife and I, YPS is an absolutely essential mod, so I'm happy you were able to get it working :)

I'm using MO2 and I'm not getting any plugins. I installed all the files into one mod but I'm getting nothing

I recommend removing player movement lock altogether from both LE and SE. I had almost always had it bug out when applying color to the feet and permanently locking movement, that is why I have foregone that feature in its entirety.

I'm having a problem where my hair won't grow I'm using ks hairdos smp and downloaded the scripts that fix that but I still am getting the issue of my hair not growing and I get the message "your hair length has grown to" and the rest is blank. Any help?

Hasn't been tested yet, but I edited the existing json and replaced the names with the new names that the headparts export script outputs. Lemme know if it works, doesn't work, opens a portal to another dimension, etc.

"4st" : ["_HDPT_F__Dint_KS_BlackBullet_WigHDT"],

i believe the leading '_' is erroneous, and it should read:

  

"4st" : ["HDPT_F__Dint_KS_BlackBullet_WigHDT"],
