I've been trying a couple of mods that go well with ToH

 

One is submissive Lola re submission which when paired with one of the characters from ToH works really well to add even more things to the characters. I like having the ToH characters as followers so this adds even more interesting stuff.

 

They beat the PC, humiliate them, make them do things, pierce them, make their piercings vibrate. So much stuff you can do with it if anyone hasn't tried that yet. I don't know if you could incorporate some of that code towards the ToH characters themselves (with permission). If not it goes well with ToH for example making Bruiser or Real Dragonborn or whoever into your follower and then activating the quest.

 

In Lola there is also something where the piercings will vibrate after you absorb a dragons soul and if you're wearing restrictive devices you are freed so you can fight the dragon which i think goes well with ToH

 

Another one is Devious training and heat rise. Training affects the character's body and if the PC is wearing devious stuff for a long time it warps and shapes the PC's body. Deforms it in various ways. Again i don't know if you could incorporate some of that code into the events of ToH (with permission) but just using it alongside with ToH it works well.

 

Heat rise is basically increasing your resistances through a quest where the PC is put into a chastity belt with plugs and the PC gets "trained" by the plugs to resist heat, shock, ice as they vibrate and torture the PC

 

If anyone wants to try these mods alongside ToH they work well. I don't know if DSHV is interested in doing something similar into ToH itself but its just an idea. Regardless if people haven't tried those mods they should give them a try with the ToH characters as your followers

One issue with Devious mods is that ToH does not support DD, but adds Zap items that you can simply remove, and which look dated. Most were made many years ago and the meshes haven't been updated in forever. Often the Bodyslides for them are ... not great.

 

It's probably a good thing in some ways, as Bruiser has no mechanics to remove devices.

And we know, many ToH users have an extreme hate for DD, or even just a mild dislike, but they still don't want to install or use it.

 

However, it makes ToH somewhat incompatible with DD items, because ToH is oblivious to them.

I did mean to write up how to solve that issue without making DD a dependency, but then ... things ... but it is not too hard.

and yeah both DF and Survival work great with ToH as well although i recommend giving Lola a try. It just seems to blend in really well with the premise of ToH. One can always tweak the dialogues with Sseedit if needed

 

I do like that the more submissive/ less will power the PC has for DF and Lola the worse the events get which fits right in with ToH

The only issue I had was HDT hair. The Doppelganger is incompatible  with that.

In the aaaundergoundslavefights quest the ordering of the dialogue was off a bit. Rather than have the option to say "I'm ready" it immediately takes me to the dialogue for "I lost". Simply doing the fight again after the first lost puts it back on track until I fight Hammer and then I get the same issue. I am able to get through it by doing the fight twice more.
