Lordescobar's Moddable Piercings Fusion Girl & CBBE fixed

Hi folks,

 

this started as a conversion of @lordescobar666's piercings to the Fusion Girl body. But since the original mod for CBBE also has the issue with morph sliders not working ingame I decided to add a CBBE version (same mesh as "le666 piercings" Bodyslide project from that mod, but my esp and mesh injection method).

 

I also tested the CBBE version, redid some morphs there and repainted the nipple chain. It should look better now and not bend backwards as much.

Btw, the reason this version is nearly double the file size compared to the Fusion Girl one is that I deleted a lot of morph sliders from the Fusion Girl version. Basically all the ones that don't have any real impact on the shapes/positions but are still there. The CBBE version wasn't optimized that way but it shouldn't matter.

 

Instructions:

Version 2.0 no longer requires the original mod, so just pick the version for the female body mod of your choice, download and load it using your favorite Mod Manager, then build the piercings in Bodyslide. Don't be confused because you can't see them in Bodyslide, that's intentional.

edit:

If you can't get over your confusion about that fact then just download the third file (lePiercings Bodyslide visibility mod) and load it after the main mod. With that you can see stuff in Bodyslide.

But don't forget to deactivate the above mentioned mod before entering the game, or else it will break the main mod (all piercings shapes will show at the same time).

 

You can build the piercings at the chemistry station (LE666 Piercings), but you still have to choose shapes and materials at the armor workbench or they will be invisible.

 

Unlike the original mod this version here doesn't need the Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource. There shouldn't be any conflicts though.

Q: I get stuck in one of the crafting benches and cannot back out.

A: Open the console (default key is tilde (~) then enter the command: slm 14
This issue has not been isolate or solved and may be an engine issue that cannot be solved. The best theory is: Usually people get stuck if they try to select something or back up a level if the menu or item they're in hasn't loaded all the game assets for that menu or item.

 

 

And instructions on how to use this ingame:

First build them at the chemistry station.

You need to define both a base shape and a material or material combination for everything that you actually want to see on your character.

When you're done there, just equip the darn thing.

I had to completely redo the esp structure and use a different method to call meshes but now the tri file you create in Bodyslide finally does what it's supposed to do, which means that this is now compatible with pregnancy mods like AAF Family Planning Enhanced.

 

These piercings get used by Raider Pet btw, and since I tried to keep this compatible while editing the esp it should still work. Feedback on this would be welcome though.

Thank you very much for the work you did on this and given that I converted the sed7 piercings (and then some) to fallout 4. I know for an absolute fact the term “work” as it relates to what you did here was a supreme understatement.

 

i actually structured that mod around not havingto do the level of work you did to convert this so I know you crawled through the metaphorical digital trenches to make this happen and thank you very fucking much.

Firstly, thank you for the effort.  I know it couldn't have been easy.  I'm having an issue, however.  Even after building in bodyslide, for some reason, the nipple piercings are not showing.  I can get the navel, clit, and labia piercings to show, but not the nipple.  I did not have this issue with the CBBE version.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Do you have Family Planning Enhanced installed or any other mod that changes body morphs on the fly? These piercings aren't compatible with mods like that, for whatever reason they keep the position they have on the unaltered body (the one you build in Bodyslide).

I have the same problem but for navel piercings because my char is already knocked up after a few days in the wasteland. ^^

 

If that's not the reason maybe you're using a modified Fusion Girl preset with extra morphs? It could be helpful if you send me the Bodyslide files for it, then I can have a look myself.

 

Last question, are all the nipple piercings affected? Did you try building a different set of them? If only one version is affected then please tell me which one. Maybe I screwed up with that mesh.

Thank you kindly but it wasn't as hard as it might seem. At least the navel and nipple piercings were already at the right position relative to the body mesh (for the most part), so I only really had to move the clit and labia ones. Guess the nether regions are one of the major differences between Fusion Girl and CBBE.

And then it was mostly choosing which morphs to deactivate before conforming sliders in Outfit Studio and moving the piercings for these ones by hand.

Especially the Sevenbase and Yuge Boobs morphs are allergic to conforming sliders, they distort the piercings mesh too much.

And copying weight paints of course but that goes without saying.

And the nipple chain needed some special treatment. That one was not weight painted correctly on CBBE, right?

Took me maybe 5 or 6 hours all in all (including some repeated attempts because of distorted meshes). Time well spent considering that I really NEED these in my game.

I am using FPE, though it hasn't done any changes yet.  Still, that could be it.  I am also using a modified preset, but I don't know about extra morphs.  I just made the breasts bigger on the Alejandra Cruz preset that I found on the Nexus.  Here is the modified preset if you want to look at it.  But if it's FPE, then I guess I'm just SOL. ?

I just used that xml you gave me to build the body and piercings in my game and I can confirm that it's FPE which is causing this.

Someone definitely needs to fix this. Not sure if I could do it though, but I'll look into it.

Actually I might have an idea...

 

A little suggestion regarding the body preset you're using:

Even in the second screenshot you can see that the piercings don't actually clip through the nipples.

That's because you set the Nipples Gone slider to 100. Better set it to 50 or below if you don't want them to magically float in the air.

So copying the Fusion Girl body into the labia rings Bodyslide projects and then building said rings (plus changing the body slot in the esp ofc) doesn't fix this either.

Instead it breaks a lot of other things like FPE morph scaling, tattoos and other overlays and for some reason skin color too. ^^

So @lordescobar666's piercings seem to somehow bypass and ignore everything that gets applied to the character ingame. Fuck.

Well poop.  Thanks for the attempt.  I guess I'll just have to wait for somebody to convert ASA to FG to have the piercings back. ?  Though it is interesting that I don't have to uninstall FPE, just turning it off with MCM does the job.  That's a really weird interaction.

I found a way to fix this. But it will take a while, because I have to restructure the meshes and esp.

The way the individual piercings (like left nipple) are injected into the game doesn't work very well for armor (mesh directly linked to in omod entry instead of via armor addon swap), so Lordescobar's mod creates clipping issues if you're using morph changing mods like FPE.

Should be the same for CBBE.

 

So what I have to do (tested it and it works) is change the method the esp adds these individual meshes. Or rather I have to combine them in a reasonable way and create a whole lot of armor addons. And then I have to split the one "piercing" armor piece into 2 or 3 (so more armor slots wasted on this I'm afraid), like one for both nipples plus the chain, and one for the navel and for the pussy. You can still switch between the different variants (bell, gem, just left or right, etc.) with the armor workbench, but I will limit the choices because otherwise the amount of work needed to fix this shit would be insane.

So this won't be as customizable but at least it will work without issues.

This sounds great! I'll gladly sacrifice more armor slots for working body piercings. I can't wait to try it out when you get it done!

Nah, forget what I wrote there, I think I can keep @lordescobar666's mod structure intact for the most part.

I'll just replace the empty connector mesh with one that has all the equipment in it and then add a few omod and material swap entries to the esp.

Meaning the way you add and customize these piercings stays exactly how it is, the only changes will be under the hood.

Give me another day or two, I'm half done with this (had to do the mesh conversion all over ^^)

Happens with CBBE too.  It's not just FPE morphs - its all morphs.  The piercings all fit the built body, not bodies the you change in-game.

You'd need to create morphs for LE's piercings. Otherwise the .tri morphs are probably not doin shit.

Testing the FG 2.0.1 build and I'm probably just being dense but I only seem to be able to get the chain to show up. None of the rest of the jewelry parts seem to appear after workbenching the piercings object to set them. I even switched to the flycam and went looking around in an NPC who was wearing one just to make sure things weren't showing up beneath the skin. Tried preview in BodySlide after selecting "LE666 piercings" as the outfit and only see the chain there too. Am I missing something, or could some of the files be getting installed into the wrong locations? (I installed with Vortex, but it's been generally stable for me with other mods so far.)

You have to select the materials for the rings, bells and other stuff at the Armor Work Bench.  Scroll down towards the bottom of selection list.

As @goosetrip mentioned, you have to scroll down.

The menu for the armor workbench is a bit of a mess, will see if I can improve that. Atm the first page only covers the selection for the piercing types/shapes, the materials are further down in the list. Except for the nipple chain, that only has 3 versions anyway so you just select the material.

 

But thanks for letting me know about the fact that you can see the chain in Bodyslide, that shouldn't happen. You should not be able to see any piece of this piercings set there, so I must have forgotten to switch the nchain.bgsm back from gold to empty. So now you won't be able to deactivate the nipple chain by selecting "nipple chain: none", it will always show if you wear the piercings.

 

This means another minor update. The CBBE version isn't affected, I didn't repaint the nipple chain there.
