You can prevent decapitations with this mod. VioLens has option to disable decapitations. Scripted NPC decapitations do not cause the issue. I have tested this with both Apropos and Apropos 2. The concept of keeping your Data folder squeaky clean and knowing when you uninstall a mod, there are zero remnants to worry about is well worth the price of admission. Plus NMM can choke on the 4000+ files in Apropos2.

MO2 does not have archive handling (which might actually be a blessing for some), but I could strongly recommend jumping to MO 2.2.0 when it comes out. It is brilliant. In case someone didn't know: MO2 runs 32bit Skyrim as well as any other game.

Don't have any Issues with Apropos and NMM during installation and ingame, but your right that NMM struggles with aprops on right click. Do not rightclick the apropos in NMM (only use icons to install/deinstall)!^^ All the modmanagers can mess up stuff, it's up to the users to pick their poison. What I just feared that TX980 uses MO or Vortex and that might cause the issue or at least makes it hard to find stuff.

Seijin8 Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Small feature adjustment/request: would like to see the animation/stage change not just be limited to rape scenarios. If there could be a toggle added to enable it for consensual animations, that would be great. Thanks. (EDIT a day later) And while I'm asking things: would there be a reasonably easy (based on my scripting experience) way to detect which strings/tokens Apropos had selected? I was thinking it would be good if a certain comment is made in the description, that magic effects with associated animobjects could be attached to the characters to visually simulate what was happening. For instance: a description involving cumming might trigger a modevent call to Cumshot, or the Dripping When Aroused/Zaz leaking effect, etc. Just curious. I was thinking of building a magiceffect on the player that listens for such things and then triggers on specific tokens. Not looking for this to be integrated into Apropos, just asking if there is a way to spot the token filling. Thanks again.
mctrollface Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 I'm a Skyrim SE user, and in a lot of ways i regret getting the SE edition because of a lack of mods. I've been trying to get this mod to work with the version check bypass you posted waaaaay back, but the dialogue still comes up. Can i confirm that (at least in theory) there should be no issues with using the old bypass?

mctrollface Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 The thing is though, it doesn't It boots me back to my last savepoint. But thanks for confirming that the issue is not on the mod's end, it's to do with how i have set up/not set things up.
hotrack Posted February 19, 2019 Posted February 19, 2019 Have made a new playthrough and have made the transition to Apropos 2.0. After a few non-Apropos glitches and a few Apropos description glitches (my json files editing had formatting typos), everything seems to work as intended, with some nice extras I am appreciative of post-Apropos 1.0. However, I am wondering why in my setup Apropos 2.0 descriptions seems a bit slow in starting, as compared to 1.0, even orgasm descriptions only end up fully loading AFTER my characters have ended SL animations (stage timers are on default). While I'll be extending SL stage timers to make up for the delay, I would like to know whether the traces and notifs output to external logs could slow down the whole thing, and whether there is performance gain if I were to turn them off (the console output is generally easier for me to get realtime info if something goes wrong mid-Apropos).
imdumb2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Ive looked around a bit but not found an answer to this issue. It seems like Apropos isnt healing. Sleeping for days at a time isnt healing the damage at all. And trying to remove the damage by disabling apropos doesnt seem to work. Ive tried disabling the mod, doing the cleanup etc. and all of the other options I can find in the MCM. I dont particularly want to use the effects of Apropos (visual or mechanical) Im worried about trying to uninstall Apropos completely, I would rather just disable it and leave it installed just for stability purposes. Any ideas? Dont exactly want to walk 50% slower for the rest of the game... Also, I did try uninstalling it, and the effects are still there, even though they are not displayed in the active effects tab...so...im screwed...

I got it to work, had to go back to a slightly earlier save, im not sure what exactly happened but I was able to get it to work again after that. 1
Statick16 Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Spoiler As you can see in the pictures, upon pressing the test button for wear and tear the body markings show up, but not the actual debuffs. i also can't watch/edit the abuse level in MCM. Could this be caused by using a mod organizer?
