I believe Page 4 is fixing the Jcontainers check, which the mod wont work if it thinks you have the wrong Jcontainers, but honestly I set it up a while ago at this point.

Yes. But SSE have been updated since last update of this mod including SKSE64 to.

Funny thing. I did the same and it simply dont work. It did work until I saved and loaded the game again. After that. No.

Do get one popup that says that Skyrim is outdated.

My conclution is that it dont work in SSE. Dont trust the post on 4:page.

The fix posted on page 4 works perfectly for SSE.

The script removes the JContainers check.

The check for Skyrim version can safely be ignored. Just dismiss it. Unfortunately, the pop-up can only be removed via a script edit.

I have been using Apropus2 in SSE since page 4 post without any issues. Only face overlays don't work which is currently a limitation of Racemenu.

Overlays, flavour text, and the widgets work fine. For load order, I place below all other SL mods.

I wish I could get it to work :(  It shows up in the MCM and says its installed, but no text shows up in SL scenes, no matter where I put the mod in my load order

That is strange,... because I ve never seen them before. They just started to appear and the best part is: I deactivated ALL messages in Apropos 2 and they still appear :(

What other mods do you have installed?

Do by chance have or ever had sexist guards installed? I think you'll find the comments are from there.

Apologies for stating they were from this mod.

Wear and Tear decreased messages.

Hmm, nice. So they show up even when I have them deactivated in the MCM? Weird, because changing one mod stopped these messages. Maybe both had some kind of intimate relationship in the MCM lol!

No idea what you mean by "changing one mod stopped these message".

What mod?

I just checked the code to see if the check for the MCM var was still in place and it appears to be correctly checked.

Maybe you can export your settings and post here?

I could not reproduce the issue, so I guess two things could have happened there:

I saw the messages, then resetted Sexlab Adventures and the messages stopped.

variant 1: the wear and tear had degraded to zero JUST at that time, so no new W&T messages appeared lol and I thought the other mod was responsible.

variant 2: I had a save loaded where some W&T message settings were still active because I forgot to set them back off (W&T changes is the lowest one, so that might be likely).

In the end, it was just coincidence and a user error, lol.

Hello ! Can I make this work with the Special Edition ? I've tried to look up other people's comments but it left me doubtful.

I was a great fan of the original apropos and I started a new modding session on Skyrim SE and I miss the flavour it added.

Hello,

hopefully others will pipe in. I'm the mod author and I don't support SE. As they say - YMMV (Your Mileage  May Vary)

As I have stated on many occasion, I use Aprpos2 in SSE. The flavour comments, and widget work. Wear and Tear works and my PC gets the damage overlays.

What doesn't work is face overlays. That is not a fault of this mod, but rather the current (and previous) version of Racemenu.

For the record, All of the sexlabs mods, apart from the esms, I use are at the bottom of my load order, with Apropos2 being the last. The load order I use is the one recommended in the creature Framework download page - a pdf document, the author of which I can't remember at present.

I also have over 500 mods installed none of which have conflicted with Apropos2.

You will need to download the script on page 4 of this forum, post 93 I think.

I had another suggestion. I'm trying to get Prison Overhaul Patched to work. So far, it works if I keep it simple with cell play. I thought it would be awesome to have Apropos tie into it by applying whiplash textures via Slave Tats???

Questions:

- Whose textures?

- What would trigger the application?

Not sure yet on textures. I read the ORIGINAL Prison Overhaul has decals, though I've never tried it, but perhaps textures could be made using those decals if permission isn't an issue. (I could try my hand at making them if need be, but couldn't make any guarantees. ;))

There are periods while in your cell (and I assume the pillory as well, but I have yet to get that scenario to work without glitches) where the guards (and possibly civilians) will whip you. I've been whipped while walking to the prison as well. It would be awesome if, after a session or two of whipping, light wear and tear will show up, and get worse the more sessions you endure.

Edit: Looking at the bsa, the only textures included with the original Prison Overhaul are facegen files. So they must tie into something vanilla. I'll keep looking into it.

Gooser would you be willing to make a script edit that removes the version check popup for the people who have converted your mod to SSE?

EDIT- the Skyrim version, not Jcontainters

Is there an sse version of apropos? I've tried converting it myself but it doesn't work, probably because I did something wrong but I can't figure out what. The mod seems really good and adds to the immersion but I can't use it for special edition

See post quoted above, as well as numerous in this thread.

Oh, question... Is it this mod that makes random comments regarding PC arousal levels? Something keeps forcing her to say she wants to sell her body or partake in bestiality or similar just because her arousal level is high, but that doesn't really fit in with the kind of personality I imagine for her. >.< I have "Periodic PC Messages Mode" set to disabled, so I don't know what's causing this...
