darktej Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 hi Laura. do you know of any fix for the DD sex filter?Ever since I upgraded to 4.3-4.3a, whenever I go to Svain to remove the restraints...unless I am wearing a yoke no other DD sex animation will play...a non DD aggressive sex animation will play. thanks
UnEvenSteven Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 As great as CD was I always found it to be a bit silly to get ambushed by bandits right at the entrances to non-walled towns. You'd figure the guards would be suspicious of a group of people loitering just outside of town. Then you have the guards not doing anything when you came under attack by the bandits. The bandit spawn location also seemed to assume you either fast-traveled or used the roads to travel to your destination. Maybe instead of being ambushed by bandits you're tasked with making a delivery to someone outside of a town or somewhere in the wilderness. Laura wouldn't be too comfortable with this and tell you to be careful. The buyer could be legitimate and just didn't want to be seen receiving the devices they ordered and be on their way after delivery. However when making these types of deliveries the player could be ambushed by bandits when talking to the buyer. The buyer is scared off leaving the player to deal with the bandits. The player could deal with the bandits by either fighting, offering gold to get them to leave or just giving up the devices. Much like CD the bandits could subdue the player if they're health gets low. Or the bandits could have Stamina-draining weapons and the player would be knocked down/out when they're Stamina is low. If the player gives up the devices the bandits will equip you with some debilitating devices (arm restraints, gags, blindfold, boots) and send you on your way. However the devices they use are cursed and have to be removed the same way as the devices in Seeking the Curse. How do the bandits have these devices? Perhaps they just came across them, knew they were cursed and thus save them for their victims. Or because reasons... For the delivery quest itself maybe Laura would randomly offer a multiple-delivery job. The player would be tasked with making several deliveries in one go instead of one at time, the caveat being Laura wants to take this opportunity to advertise her shop. Since the player would be traveling to different locations it'd be a perfect time to get the word out about her shop. Laura would require you to wear at least one of her custom devices (unique textures like the Locked Away belt). The Locked Away belt itself would qualify but if the player chooses to wear more custom devices then they'll receive a larger reward after completing all the deliveries. During the multiple-delivery job the player may still have to make a deliveries to individuals outside of town, as before the buyer is legitimate and nothing happens or the player may get ambushed. To spice up the regular, single delivery job Laura may send the player with extra devices as the buyer expressed interest in other devices but didn't buy them. When making the delivery the player will need to model the extra devices for the buyer. The buyer won't purchase these extra devices right away but could be convinced to purchase them at a later date, perhaps through a Speech check or other system. Naturally Laura didn't give you the keys to these extra devices the player had to model so they won't come off until the player returns to the shop. If the player was successful in convincing the buyer to purchase more devices in the future then Laura would give a small bonus in coin. Once again the player may have to make a delivery outside of town when on a delivery job where Laura wants you to model extra devices. As before the buyer may be legit but there's also a chance now the buyer is a bandit and will have their cohorts ambush you. Sure the bandits may have purchased the initial device the player delivering but now they have chance to make off with more devices since the player had brought more. Sorry about the length but you did say, "Don't hold back" ? 1

I'm actually playing through Captured Dreams again while waiting for the next content update to Laura's. Just got ambushed, though on purpose, just to see what all the punishment options were like. It often sent me to the walled cities so I was able to fast travel right past them. I'm interested to see where Laura's goes, since her story telling with the fun content really has me interested since CD is no more. I'm hoping this goes on for quite some time. I wanted to work on my own mod a while back, had a road map setup for what I wanted and how to do it, but couldn't get Creation Kit to play ball with me. I'm glad to see Laura got it working. 1
Hex Bolt Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Perhaps it's possible to have an ambush occur a little further outside town, away from guards. I see the appeal of meeting a customer in a remote location, and it's a good suggestion for stimulating thinking about alternatives, but it feels odd. The customer would probably be most comfortable in the privacy of the home. And if items are to be modeled, a warm home works better than potentially standing in snow or rain trying on devices in the dark. I like having a chance for an ambush, so ideally there's a little better way to set them up while keeping the meetings in a natural location. A problem with a home delivery though is fast travel, which allows the player to avoid a surprise attack unless it triggers right away, and a remote location would solve that problem. Perhaps fast travel could be disabled until the player's current location does not have LocTypeCity or LocTypeTown (and if the customer is located outside a town, then an ambush could reasonably occur tight there).
Millicent Bystander Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I'm looking forward to popping in to this shop now that I'm back in Skyrim.
Reesewow Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 14 hours ago, Laura 'Lokomootje' said: I'm not going to disable fast travel during quests like these. Disabling it will annoy people who use it a lot and people that don't want to fast travel can choose not to. I think my suggestion for delivery quests with fast travel enabled would be to not actually use vanilla NPCs as the final destination target, but instead use them as stages in the delivery. This would let you design the delivery quest around multiple destinations as the PC has to gather some information to find out where their delivery target is, which would let you make a bunch of different mini scenarios. So fast travel could be enabled but still have lots of options for stuff to happen in a delivery, since the player can't just fast-travel to the vanilla NPC and hand it in in 5 seconds dodging everything on the road. So what I'm thinking of might work something like this for a "city" delivery quest (this is probably overly complex but it illustrates the "mini encounter" with vanilla NPCs): Accept delivery request from Laura, package to be delivered to a "Raina" in Windhelm. The PC is equipped with Laura's "official" delivery gear. Player arrives at Windhelm but doesn't know exactly where Raina is - quest suggest asking around. Player asks NPCs if they know Raina and where she is. Target NPC will likely ask for a small favour in return for information (hopefully a of variety of results, including sex) and ask the player equip an additional devious device. After doing a favour, the NPC will tell you where they think Raina is - player has the option to trust that info or gather more by talking to additional NPCs. Every time the player asks an NPC and does a favour, they get more DDs equipped but may get information either confirming the original location or suggesting a different one. As the PC gets more DDs added, asking around the city becomes more dangerous and the chance an NPC will consider them helpless and just steal their delivery package increases After asking long enough (without getting items stolen) the player should have one location confirmed and a few other locations that are "sketchy" - Raina is at the confirmed location, and lowlifes are hanging out at the other locations. Successfully delivering the package to Raina completes the delivery, approaching the lowlifes gets your stuff stolen like in the old CD. Basic idea of the above is that a player could choose to take the first location they get and travel to it - but it is more likely than not to be lowlifes that take advantage of a poor delivery girl and take her delivery (ala Captured Dreams bandits). Alternatively, the player can keep gathering information to guarantee the correct delivery spot, at the risk of the PC ending up helpless and have their delivery stolen by opportunists in the city. Because the bulk of the info gathering would be in a town/city there would be little incentive to fast-travel multiple times, and since the player would be walking into an ambush if they went to the wrong location fast-travel wouldn't let you dodge "bandits". One additional suggestion - if Gunslicers is ok with it, I think adding a few poses from his mod (https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/8148-gsposes-slal/) could be an amazing option for a "favour" above or for use in your various quests. Specifically Sexy Bandit Captives makes great use of them for its scenes and mechanics, letting NPCs emote sexily. As long as they were made to not be an option while wearing heavy bondage other than a straightjacket, I think they would be a great "sexy" option other than triggering SLAL scenes, and could offer a lot to quests like "Blending In" as well - if the hyper-sexed NPCs in that quest start using them as idles. 4
UnEvenSteven Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 @Hexbolt8: I get what you're saying, I just thought the "meet outside of town" delivery a possible way to have ambushes. However if Laura is planning to use vanilla, named NPCs for delivery targets then having to meet them inside their home has a problem. NPCs have a schedule that typically keeps them away from their house, I'm not sure Laura would be willing to mess with AI Packages or their schedule in general to have NPCs return home to receive a discreet delivery. Of course this problem would also exist for the meeting outside of town now that I think about. Perhaps Laura could create a number of generic NPCs that'll spawn in the various towns when making a delivery. These particular NPCs will be "discreet" buyers, when the player first talks to them the buyer will thank them for the delivery but tell them not to hand the package over while in town. The buyer will then tell the player to meet elsewhere like outside of town or a quiet, out of the way part of town or a room in the local inn to complete the delivery. When meeting the buyer the player now has a chance to be ambushed or simply complete the delivery. The location of the meeting could change the difficulty of the ambush. If ambushed inside an inn it'd be only a single bandit and fairly easy to deal with, either through a fight or few gold. However if the player was modeling devices for the buyer and they're locked in an arm restraint the player may have no choice but to give up the devices, the bandit would ignore any attempt at negotiation since you're helpless.

Now somehow, I wound up with 2 of the Chastity belts from the shop (that was being worn during the quest), no clue how, though I presume she "gave the key", but I don't see one, is it an unlock only by her or can I put that belt on an NPC?

It's main focus will be improving Seeking The Curse and adding a new repeatable quest. The new quest will be a delivery quest and I would love to hear your suggestions. Don't hold back. Delivering, in a package or worn? Or a devious package that when opened puts them on the user, and when you deliver it, the person has to unlock you, may be too much to do. Delivering in a package would be better, but not worn, perhaps have "bandits" out to steal the package. I say "bandits" because they could be Vigils and such, anyone who dislikes the deviousness of the shop wants to thwart any deliveries. I mean there is a shrine in the shop, maybe one of the enemies of that god. As for the "bandits", they could "knock you down" and steal the package and run off and you obviously have to chase them down and pillage as usual to get it back. GuruSR.

Idk if Steam checks it by size or other way, but it can re-download your cleaned files in the background (files in which you have cleaned ITM records) - if Steam detects them as non original files. Knowing that i have postponed to clean Skyrim esm files for myself. after you clean them, select what you cleaned and zip them-save them- add them into your mod manager and they will overwrite the main files in the event of any changes- or even if you have to re-download the game you still have your clean masters. Not to mention riding a horse. The main exception is when using DD boots or other gear with speed debuffs.

Hollyeb2015 Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 5 hours ago, piotsze said: That is very helpfull. It's so obvious... Thank you. Now also i have something to share. I'm not sure where to write about it but i made some discovery, why my Skyrim LE was stuttering. To be exact clear - i did forget about that completly, while i still used Skyrim LE (32-bit) and still i am a big fan of it. I'm using this magic operating system which is called Windows 10 x64 Home Edition. My laptop has a native resolution screen: 1920x1080p which is FullHD. Now, Windows 10 detects it and always wants "the best" for me - so it has set up my screen resolution to use 1920x1080p. There is however one small problem with that. 15 inch display size. Not kidding. Windows also detects how big is your screen and to that detected size it will use automatically Scale & Size. What it does - it will set scale to immitate lower resolution of screen while using native one. For example in my case it was: 125% scale which Windows 10 has set for me up for all programs, Skyrim within it. This is because having big resolution screen while screen dimension is not 17" but instead of that it is 15" your application or their font size would be so small - that you would actually might need to use Magnifying Glass application... ? That being said i have decided to check my screen settings, which i have never used like for more than a half year now. Reason about that was that i play Skyrim in windowed mode, not a fullsreen mode. So i was using resolution: 1920x1080p with 125% scaled Skyrim LE windowed game, AFAIK! And my Skyrim LE as ini files configured by me - is set to use resolution of: iSize H=768 iSize W=1366 and offcourse while Windows 10 was so kind - it always upscaled it to according Scale: 125%. So i was playing in windowed mode which in Windows 10 had scaled resolution of: H=960 W=1708 So i have changed my screen resolution from native 1920x1080 all programs scaled to: 125% to 1600x900 all programs scaled to: 100% (which means no size scaling). Which is almost freaking the same to my understanding, because: 1600 x 1.25 = 2000, 900 x 1.25 = 1125. Also to that - now i don't waste resources of my CPU & GPU to do unneeded job to upscale Skyrim window size. Bacause it's true 1366x768 now. And it feels good that way. I realy don't have such serious fps dropouts like i had before. Sure - there are still some, but only sometimes now. Overall experience is smoother - that i can confirm. I think that i must take a look next time there will be some Windows 10 actualizations or graphic driver suite actualizations... This is what i meant: Hide contents you, should just be able to launch the LE launcher from your mod manager- change your setting to the 1366-768 setting- close launcher- run skse launcher from your mod manager- that should fix the issue without changing your configs- Fixed- not?? i also have windows 10 and i run everything on my laptop(set up for games) but it also only has a 15inch screen- i use my 26in tv tho with an hdmi cable- thats how i fixed it when it stretched out to both screens

Using people that think bondage is an act of evil is a good one. Having to retrieve the package after getting robbed would be fun. 14 hours ago, worik said: I like it. Nice sounding and it's unique. I'd say you should keep it because of that ? How about checking intermediate stops in the quest? Something like visited milestones ? I havn't seen that in Skyrim (yet) but I thiiiiink I remember that from Oblivion vintage mods. I don't think that'll work. I also don't want to punish people to fast travelling. I never played Oblivion by the way. My first TES is Skyrim. ? 3

Windows Scale does this and always upscales Skyrim window. Even if i run Skyrim from a shortcut (execution by skse_launcher.exe) or from my Mod Organizer. Basically in a shortcut to launch my modded Skyrim i did: Spoiler "C:\Games\Mod Organizer\ModOrganizer.exe" "C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\skse_loader.exe" I tell my ModOrganizer.exe to run with parameter to launch skse_loader.exe. So it silently runs Mod Organizer, which executes skse_loader. That way i'm actually running skse from Mod Organizer already. But without Mod Organizer window opened in the background. I had couple of reasons in my mind to do it that way: 1. I'm able to run second instance of Mod Organizer if needed, without a need to do "Unlock" existing one (and it doesn't reject being launched - because Mod Organizer always checks if there is other instance of Mod Organizer launched, you can test it by trying to launch Mod Organizer second time), 2. I need a windowed Skyrim in case of hang-up, because Skyrim LE while in full screen - didn't had functionality of switching to desktop or other applications by pressing combination of key L-Alt+Tab or by Windows key or force quitting by L-Alt+F4 is slugish - sometimes works but mostly not. However i tried Skyrim SE - and it seems they have repaired it by using newer SDK for compiling the game, 3. Also if want to make a video - i just use application which captures just a program window - and not the fullscreen. This way also i can monitor if it is still recording just fine.
mukkiz Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 Hello, and thanks for a great mod! I have an issue, and as far as I can tell, this hasn't been posted. After the quest 'What She Deserves' is finished, Laura asks if I want to continue help her, and of course I agree. Then skip forward a bit (I hope I don't spoil too much): directly after I receive the lockpicks, the game freezes and crashes. Are there any known conflicts, or anything else that could be an issue? (I'm running latest version of the mod, 3.01, and Skyrim SE)

Wow, i wonder if that lets you even run CK while testing in Skyrim. You should be able to make same shortcut for the CK. Edit: Yes they both start up simultaneously. Also noteworthy that the shortcut that MO makes on desktop is not working this way, while that doesn't show up the MO itself it actually locks up for other MO instances. But the exe referenced shortcut works. 1

But i don't like CK at all, and i use it only ocasionally. Most likely i just run CK outside of the game just to view things that i cannot view in TES5Edit. But today i'm strongly determined and occupied by installing Skyrim SE. As long as i have already Skyrim LE with Mod Organizer 1 i would like also to have Skyrim SE with Mod Organizer 2. EDIT: Omg Bodyslide and UNP sliders... Why CBBE only in Skyrim SE, i don't get it... Now i must copy sliders from oldrim Bodyslide to newrim Bodyslide. Great, just fantastic. - done! EDIT2: failed to spawn "LOOT.exe". failed to start process. ? Duh, too much effort to do everything. Skyrim LE will do it for me.

Heh yea *most* of those poses would fall into that category, but the variety there is huge and they are all animated poses AFAIK. Sexy Bandit Captives doesn't actually require the mod as a master, it just lifts specific animations from that mod and packs them as its own with Gunslicer's permission. It does mean people would need to run FNIS after installing tho. Mostly just mentioning it as a possible resource for the mod, especially if you make more quests like Blending In. Spoiler That one NPC who was desperate to get "punished" was basically doing all the Gunslicer wiggles in my mind's eye, just based on her dialogue.

If you've got 2 belts because it failed to remove it, there's probably something wrong with your DD install. Oh, my DD install is fine, I think the prison fail of DCL caused it, because before that time, she only had one, because at the end of the prison they re-equip all your stuff, so it is possible the two mods clashed. But I presume it is a regular belt now? 11 hours ago, Laura 'Lokomootje' said: Using people that think bondage is an act of evil is a good one. Having to retrieve the package after getting robbed would be fun. The nice thing about that is, you could add the player to the faction that everyone not liking the god would hate, this way, a random spawn say 5000 away of say up to a dozen (no less than 5) enemies of varied banditness could be spawned, you could also just have the spawn "follow" the player, then that takes the course of the scene where a fight breaks out, then robs the player if they subdue her, they could steal more than just the package, could take her weapons, possibly put mittens or chains on her to slow her down, then run off, think there is a laugh as they run away somewhere. SE is totally sweet it works everytime now. For Oldrim, the SKSE Plugin OneTweak has an option to go borderless window, meaning the full screen happens if you set it up properly, I've included my ini for it, basically run the normal launcher and set the game up in Windowed mode, then close out of that (or use the ini setting for Skyrim to change the method), then add OneTweak.dll to the SKSE\Plugins folder with that setting file I have, it works fine, I can alt tab back and forth between Skyrim while it runs in the background unencumbered and it can be recorded even while it's not up front, Aero also shows what is going on if you want. If you have a Precache Killer fix already, make sure to edit the file and set that at the bottom to False, also if the game seems to eat more CPU usage than normal, see the priority section and adjust.
