hi so my actor is a male. how can I configure this so, that the scene (s*x) positions are switched? I particularly like to adjust the part where if the enemy surrenders my actor is defaulting as the aggressor (top). I would appreciate some tips on how this can be done. I'm trying to tinker with F04edit with some success. Aditionally, I would like to do the same config for commonwealth captives

Make sure it overrides the versions supplied by other mods like AAF, Real Handcuffs, Rad Morphing Redux, etc. Your mod manager should indicate the file conflicts and give you the option to choose which mod wins.

 

But you might be better off downgrading the game and other mods for now, until the next AAF release comes out and this gets a little easier.

I didn't get any mod conflicts when I installed either of them, is there a way to do this manually in Vortex?

If Vortex doesn't indicate (with a red lightning bolt next to AAF and LLFP) that there's a conflict, then that seems odd. You should at least see it conflicting on the Data\Scripts\LL_FourPlay.pex included in both mods. Are you sure you installed the LLFP mod, not the LLFP source code?

Ah ... fantastic.

I have Violate and RSE:CSA installed and I tried them. CSA is the primary outcome of Violate.

Auto surrender from Violate, raped and then (by mcm settings) abducted from CSA. Ok.

Noticed the Quest "Retrival" to retrieve my gears. I suspect this quest is from CSA and I think it's the problem. Because ...

 

And now it's time to tell that MY gears are from Modern Firearms, Modern War Outfits, Combined Arms and Black Widow Suit.

ONLY.

No vanilla garbage in my inventory.

 

So .... I managed to escape, find the boss, kill the boss and .... ALL MY CUSTOM; EXPENSIVE; WONDERFUL GEARS ARE GONE!!!!

Forever!

I was able to retrieve only the usual stuffs like stimpaks, food and similar. Even all Keys, Holotapes, Magazines are gone too.

 

WTF!!!

It seems like CSA is being buggy as usual, as Violate doesn't take tapes & mags.

Been a long time since I used CSA, but if I remember, the gear removal had a problem with mod added items and taking things it really shouldn't.

Think I got tired of having to use the console to replace custom armor/weapons.

I will also be sent to the CSA kidnapping location after Violate.
Same quest starts, kill the location's boss.
When you succeed, the quest becomes retrieving all your items, they are all in a temporary chest, you can also see it before killing the boss, but you can't unlock it. When you can open it, you need to take all the items at once immediately when you first open the chest, otherwise, when the chest is closed, it will be replaced by the vanilla loot chest at the location, in other words, the CSA temporary chest disappears. You open the vanilla loot chest, it must be something insignificant.

I was wondering if you can help me figure out something.
I noticed that during violate, for the FEV hound, the same animation was being selected over and over.

To my suprise, i could not select any other animation during violate with the AAF gui.

When outside violate, during manual selection, i see the other animations perfectly and they play without issue for the FEV Hound.
They ones that violate does not see are from the UAP patch. The one that does work in violate is from the creature pack and is a staged animation.

I was wondering where the issue might be comming from. Is it the patch? Does voilate require something set in the xml for them to show?

I was also wondering if other users of the patch noticed this.

I tried tinkering with the xml's a bit, but im not able to get the UAP patched animations to show during violate.

Violate is filtering for animations with the "aggressive" tag. Most of Savage Cabbage's animations (even creature/robot anims) are meant to be consensual, so don't have the "aggressive" tag.

Hey guys, can anyone help? I've been able to change a few texture mods successfully in F04edit so far and am hoping this would just be a quick configuration. Would appreciate some tips.. thank you in advance

Ah thats good to know. I knew violate did selection based on the tags, but i did not know that animations would be hidden if the required tags where not met.

Guess imma mess with the tags a bit.

Edit: Yup, turns out Violate doesn't like the tag "Tease" much (As expected). Gonna take a guess that more animgroups use this tag with UAP so ill have to patch it out. Otherwise im gonna miss out on alot of viable anims during vio.

This is what I downloaded and installed, I tried reinstalling and still no conflicts. If there's something else I should be downloading instead, I wasn't able to find it.

The reason I asked is because in the downloads for that mod there are two filenames for each version, one of which is the actual LLFP mod (LLFP-v50-20240520.7z is what you want) and the other of which is source code (Src-LLFP-v50-20240520.7z which won't help you). What matters is the filename for what you downloaded.

 

But at this point it doesn't matter. Uninstall your separate LLFP and go grab AAF 172.0 NG from the AAF Discord now that it's available.

I have a minor issue.

 

The retrieval quest is not renewing. When I get violated the first time the quest works fine. But if I get violated a second time there is no item theft, nor does a new retrieval quest activate. Rather immersion breaking. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

Have you recovered your stuff from the first robbery (or cleared it through the debug menu). If you haven't got your stuff back you wont get robbed again until the first robbery is cleared.

 

In short you can't have multiple robberies

Would probably be advantageous to have a MCM setting to clear the first robbery quest if violated before completing it.

Would be a bit cruel, buuuut.... tough shite buttercup. LOL

There already is such an option, it's "Abandon retrieval quest" under Misc Options.
