I have posted in the past I-can't-and-don't-want-to-count-how-many years approximately 3 comments, all on technical issues with mods. Nexus is not a community. It's just a place to grab some mods.

I'm not banned But I think I can relate to some of the feelings in here Specifically I wanted to ask What the fuck is wrong with people in there? I mean I just uploaded a mod. Wanted to see what was going on with it, if people needed help, if they were enjoying it or just to politely greet a thank you which is usually the polite thing one does. I'm not an "attention whore" nor do I suffer from abstinence of "likes" or "endorsements". But I recon it's nice to tee people liking your work. In the gallery I've posted pictures and a few people there often have nice things to say about them. And I visit that gallery too and I often like some pictures. I posted preview images of my mod and they were received with general happiness. I had a similar mod before, which, when launched, was nice too. But now I had the bad idea to visit the comment section. What used to be a place for "Thank you" and "Nice mod" or at most "Can you please help me" is now a place for "Good but I don't like it, fix it!" "Do you even know how to mod?!" "I've seen better" (And I'm talking about the course it has taken now, so that means old mod and comment section, new comments) What the fuck is wrong with that bunch of trolls? If they don't like it then get the fuck away from it and shut the fuck up. Perhaps the glorious motherfuckers think they can do a better work Bitch, please... they don't even know how to properly install a mod and they think they have the right to act like they own the freaking world, telling you what to do and how to do it because it's not enough for their "royal" asses... Who the fuck do they think they are Don't get me wrong... the truth is... I don't care I don't give a rat's ass about their superiority complex I just think they deserve a couple of insults Thought the Nexus-hate thread was good place to put them. Thank you!

Sometimes it can take between 10-15 seconds. Really annoying since I have 100/100Mbit

I myself have only suffered two instances where the whole DL is deader than dead. 1) Certain mirrors are screwed beyond any help for me. Every time I see a 19 on the server number, I immediately stopped the DL and wait for another minute before trying. Server mirror number 19 is a definite death trap for me. No use waiting for that. Check whether you have problem with a certain server. I forgot which one but another in the range of twenties is faulty for me too. 2) "No available server". Just what the fuck is the bandwith size Nexus assigned to the DL of free accounts? Can't you squeeze a 20+ bytes patch into the DL session? Lately, this is getting more and more frequent.

Some sites like this game site that I play on has a + and - for each post if it hits 3- the post becomes hidden and can only be seen if you click to un hide it there is also a option to once you hit the - a triangle warning sign pops up under the + and - that when clicked reports the comment for review if the comment is offensive/spam and the admins will review the comment and remove it if they deem it to be offensive/spam and send out a warning/ban depending on how serious the comment/comments were. Some users on sites you can go to their profile and look at their comments and see that everything they post on is offensive.

I only post on technical issues for mods on the Nexus, anymore. Hardly even that, seeing how one time out of ten you'll get someone who actually tries to help. The rest are either trolls, people who don't know what they're doing, or people who tell you to do something you've already tried.

The best medicine for them is just smiling sweetly and walking off why they are still in blather mode. I usually got straight to user preferences and just block all of their posts from view. Let them blather and be right while being duly ignored.

Dear lord I'd say 90% of the posters there never learned what a paragraph is let alone graduated 5th grade. Even if their grievance has credence I don't even bother to read a single sentence because its like trying to interpret the meaning of life reading goat entrails and tea leaves I finally gave up back in Burning Crusade trying to read forum posts on there. I think it was making brain cells melt D:

When a person does that it's a guarantee of trolling. When they start picking apart every single sentence instead of taking the entire statement into context you know they are just looking to start some shit. I don't see it here much (thank god) but you can see that AFK mods forum is nothing more than pissed off wall-texts and sentence-by-sentence responses, it's nothing more than a bunch of interweb trolls with inflated egos poking fun at everyone elses expense. Why anyone would post at a forum thread topic specifically made for bug reporting where the forum author has put "drama" in the title is a blunt indicator that their responses are going to be nothing more than them throwing shit in your face, i would feel bad for the people posting there but at that point they are basically asking to be punished. I agree, the internet sucks because idiots are legion (irl it's the same)
