Doesn't bug me a whole lot.

It's a nice reminder, really, it still gives you the option to not endorse a thing if you don't like it.

Noooooo!  Pop Ups are an abomination before the entire multiverse, you must mindlessly rage with us!  :D

This is the same argument I got angry at back when the feature that shows mod requirements was released.

Oh no two more clicks, we could die with how long it takes us to click twice!

It's fucking asinine.

Yeah you could tell I was taking it seriously myself, lol. :P

I'm the wrong age to be talking about impatience though.  I was around before microwaves and just laugh when I see somebody so incredibly flustered and indignant that it takes 3 minutes for popcorn or to heat up their frozen dinner.  All the more so since I like to cook from scratch. :)

I've never seen someone rage at a microwave, must be fun to watch. xD

It can be, lol.  People have such short attention spans and patience limits nowadays. :D

Oh and lest I be misunderstood for my complaining earlier, it's not the pop-ups themselves i really mind.  It's that they apparently did it to placate whiney modders who weren't getting enough attention.  If it's a good mod, people WILL ome back and rate / endorse it, even if hey forget at first.

Well, I'm an idiot so this pop-up reminded me of the old mods I downloaded a while back and still use but forgot to endorse and some other ones I downloaded that were blatantly shit and I almost endorsed at first C:

Yeah, the pop up sure reminded me of the 1500+ mods that I had never endorsed. Then again, the ones I endorsed are the ones I had tried and was satisfactory that it didn't crash my game like a junkyard trip on a roller coaster. Possibly some of them my fault but a number of those are pretty old mods that never got updated anymore.

Do I need to be reminded that I HAVE TO ENDORSE EVERY SINGLE ONE THAT I HAD DOWNLOADED, EVEN THE ONES I DOWNLOADED FIVE MINUTES AGO? WHERE'S THE ONE HOUR GOLDEN RULE WHATEVER NEXUS CALLED NOWADAYS?!

It's a new feature, kinks need to be worked out.

People were using Spam and Rage to make Google go back to the old Youtube commenting system at first and now everyone's okay with it. *shrug*

Though, considering we're talking about the Nexus, chances are those kinks won't be worked out. :T

I dunno, I'm trying to stay optimistic here, I think it's got potential to be more helpful if executed better.

Can't you disable the popup in your site preferences?

We'd better look for someone who can come up with a Greasemonkey script.

I guess I lucked out.

My endorsement reminder was still set to 'Never' on file preferences.

W00t, no annoying pop ups for me :D

Not available on regular accounts, however.

What?

Last time I checked I had a regular account and don't ever remember paying a single penny to nexus.

You check carefully? It should be under file preferences like so:

This thread is quickly becoming a nitpicking fest...

Next we'll argue that the Nexus logo is too pixellated and hurts people's eyes.

I have it set to Never, but doesn't work.

Anyway, I just leech forward.

I've wished since day one that download counters (there, and here for that matter) were always private -- mod author only. Would put an end to a chunk of stupidity right there.

I wonder what happened to the whole 'cooling off' period after downloading a mod?  There was a waiting period because people were downloading their friend's mod and then turning right around and endorsing it.  That was 'such a problem' that Dark0ne added the wait period.  And NOW it's not a problem?

Do endorsements do anything for mods besides possibly put them in the front page?

When you make something like Endorsing as valueless as "Likes" on Facebook it really diminishes what it could be.

To my understanding it's suppose to be a way for you to say "Hey, I like this mod, it's good" but now people do like Youtube subscribers do and "Like" shit on impulse.

Boy is Nexus a piece of shit. I just tried about 300 times to send a PM there, and all I get is this annoying-as-hell error:

Good thing I copied the message first. Come on Nexus! I don't have all day!

If fanfiction.net were to have such a feature, and as many of those fanfic writers are competing with each other, expect instant mudslinging and backstabbing. Good thing they didn't have it for public consumption but read counters are viewed only by the author.

Why do people hate Sapphire? I like her.

She has a sad backstory and she reminds me of me a while back honestly.

Snarky, bitch and evil, angry at the world.

That type of shit, I like her almost as much as Serana. :3

But this is off-topic so here's not-so-off-topic-stuff:

Follower mods.

So fucking many.

Why?

I like Sapphire too. I made a private mod that makes her reunite with her father from the Dragonborn DLC after you find his letter and then talk to her.
