Banned from Nexus

First of all, that's funny as hell. Your comics, I mean.

And secondly, yeah.

I've heard the nexus fucks up like that....

Sadly. Whoever runs it needs to figure our their moderator shit.

Look, you need to stop pissing them off though.

You need to get a hold of whoever runs the nexus and message them, not piss off the moderator to IP ban you.

If you send a nice letter to the real, non douchy admin they'll probably ban the mod instead of you for something stupid like this.

As long as the admin sees your comics when you link them, he'll laugh and unban you right away.

And since you've been IP banned you need to go get ultrasurf to make an account again.

Everything D0 does and his team is justified. There is no convincing or talking D0 out of it. The ban hammer is a way of him putting his foot down and saying "and that's final". I mean if you are an admin that runs a site and likes to announce bans like a wall of trophies you aren't going to be someone who finds compassion. He's like the kid with a magnifying glass burning ants. Thinks he is inferior to everyone around him and nothing can stop him. He has no morale. If he had any compassion it would ruin his elitist reputation. And that's not something he can live with.

Sorry, I had to.

Well, I got banned... Rightfully so, though.

I was in a really bad mood yesterday and said some things. xD

Did an appeal thing, hopefully I can get my account back since there's a lot of important stuff I don't wanna lose. :T

No worries there, Omega. I'm on my third account and didn't have to even mask my IP in any way. I just started a new E-mail then a new Nexus account. It was just that simple. Were you IP banned? If so it may take a bit more to get back on.

It's the first time I do anything "bad" on there so I might get my account back. I'll just wait and see for now.

My only worry is the two mods I'm pseudo-modding for will get flooded with inane questions and idiots who lack the ability to read descriptions and follow instructions and that'll probably bug the modders I'm helping out.

It's really hard to get me angry at all, I promise.

I feel like an idiot for going overboard like that.

*sigh*

Just been stressed out lately, I guess I finally snapped.

I've not been that upset in really long and it was really uncalled for.

Meh, anyway... yeah. Stuff. :v

Then if that's your attitude towards a fringe portion of pop culture and you feel it cheapened and tarnished the supposed purity of the game, I know what to do. And I am afraid to say that, as long as there's an audience for it and we have cross-pollination of design influences across the Pacific, anime-inspired themes applied on mods will remain in modding culture for a long time.

Furthermore, I respect players' wishes to customize their Skyrim with the look and functionality they want, even if it appears visually offending and/or "not lore-friendly" to me. Heck, even I have to respect Jerbs' desire for huge bosoms on his character, because that's what makes him entertained and gives the incentive to keep Skyrim installed on his PC.

This is why we're here in this fora: we're outcasts, misfits, deviants or outlaws from a mainstream site that is clearly a victim of its own popularity.

We are what we play. Here and now, we are supposed to be respectful of each other and the desires we harbor and enjoy, when there's no more respect and sincerity in Nex.

This should be LL's manifesto.

well, i'm going to try to be non-biased with hopes i wont be banned, thus, i apologies, it is just a clarification of thoughts.

i read your above post; for the drawings, they sounded so much fun and mostly true especially the ongoing repeated stupid sentences made by the NPCs. for me, when Harkon transformed saying "behold the power" i was "Dude, your skin is on my screen, which is more gross than power".

so, someone commented that you are homophobic then this (The Vampire Dante) deleted, banned & IP banned you. sounded like this person took it personal or being over-sensitive maybe due to the nickname. and the likes you got for your post didnt help, on the contrary, it sounded like you made an un-recommended encourages to undesired trend just because of one drawing within - perhaps.

meanwhile a purely personal opinion: from basic LGBTI prospective, it is considered stereotyping and another term that i forgot. which in an LGBTI friendly forum (if nexus forum is); the admin should notify you respectively, point out the EULA violation made, ask you to delete the mentioned drawing and/or to help you to do so.

that is the way i would see it fit to gain the hearts and minds of all the members who liked your post, and they wouldnt lose a talented person like yourself.

It's all gravy without Nexus mash... :D

I have Lakeview Manor Extended and Tel Nalta which has the Mara and Dibella statues adorning the poolside.  Those nude replacers will do nicely.

I like Lakeview extended. My favorite player home, especially with the "adult" addon version.

I am curious as to what this "adult" addon version is. :)

Yeah. I feel really stupid about snapping that way.

I always keep my shit bottled up so no one gets hurt but I dunno what happened honestly. x.x

That was pretty f***ing stupid. Maybe he wanted to be banned. It's getting to the point where people get banned on purpose there now, just so they can say FU to staff there.

I really resent the mindset that if you download a mod, you must endorse it, even if it's a buggy craptastic mess. :\ Endorsements are rather silly anyway in my opinion.

What was it about ?? the file no longer exist.

It was a kind of petition to add some functions to nag downloaders into endorsing nexus mods.

Eh, isen't that what Nexus is doing now already? I've had to endorse several mods i actually didn't like and uninstalled quickly after trying them just to be allowed to download anything further.

It's some crazy petition to have NMM to have direct access to your computer to check whether your Skyrim has a certain mod installed. If yes, the mod page will auto receive endorsement point. However, if the mod is removed, the endorsement with be retracted. The guy claims that it's for the good of all the modders on Nexus. Apparently, all he ever did was pissing off most of the modders on Nexus as a result. Last I see, he/she went to sleep and locked the comments so that we can take time to read through the description page; which is pretty much a wall of bull...

Direct access? Right, it's a big gaping hole for viruses because we'll have a big neon sign saying "Screw Me!!" flashing all over the net. Also, most of the extra downloads come from the patches and updates. Having a low endorsement count doesn't say that it's bad. We are only allowed to endorse once anyway. If anything, having the option to endorse for every DL of the mod is a better approach than what that idiot is petitioning.
