myuhinny Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 I wouldn't usually when a browser is slowed down by a pop up is because of what that pop up is doing while it's open on your browser. Reading info spreading things like viruses spyware malware placing things onto your computer and so forth.

I don't want to flog a dead horse, but there is a site on the net where you can see that, though their religion is not quite like the "official" ones... well, but then, their god is anthropomorphic, reacts somewhat like the one in the old testament (you now, the despotic motherfucker, not the peace-loving new-testament-hippie sitting around a campfire with wolf, sheep and ameba) and has a lot of disciples around him. His church is strict and unforgiving, and his minions think that excommunicating people also silences them. If you want to get in again after having been excommunicated, you have to repent. If your pledge was heard, HE might grant you his clemency. But I'm going too far there, I think - no irony here. They gave me a formal warning, and I was banned for a week, that's it. That's really not that bad. But I understand that this willy-nilly banning over at the Nexus is a sensitive topic to many considering that many people felt connected to the Nexus before things went down the drain. On the closer view, it's all fucking sad.

Doubt it's changed, but when I lived Bama a woman couldn't buy a vibrator in that state nor have an abortion. Yet, the U.S. tries to take some sort of weird upper moral ground with Russia and other countries, as if we don't have enforced nutcase blue laws in our own country. At least 99% of Americans would consider AL the armpit of the nation. It's got the lowest state of societal health in the entire nation. Oh, an interesting tidbit. As far as I can tell only two states don't have some kind of law against sodomy, and they would be New Jersey and California. So hit the beach and have all the gay sex you can handle.

You would think that their attitudes would change and learn to run a better site, but they are so stubborn. They continue to have that "my way or the highway" attitude. And to them, it's the best policy any forum website could have.
