Husky1o1 Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 There are no mods to my knowledge that make creatures go at each other by themselves. Animations for it exist, but the acts need to be set up manually. If the creature invite fails, there may be a couple of reasons ... because you don´t have animations for these creatures installed or they are not properly registered with SexLab (did you use SLAL?) or because the creatures are female (there are very few animations for female creatures) and your settings have SexLab search for gender-specific animations or because the creatures are replaced by some other mods you have installed which give them a different race which is unknown to SexLab or simply because you have made the arousal threshold settings for the invite so that the invite requires an arousal above the creature´s actual arousal

I tried Matchmaker but it doesn't affect creatures. Most of the time I try invite fails. What other ways are there to get two creatures to go at it with each other, or with me? Try to invite a creature then check the Aroused Creatures MCM > Help page. Mouse over the entries under Recent Engagement Failures for the PC/NPCs and creatures to see explanations for why they were rejected. Creature-on-creature is not currently supported in AC as it's not supported by SL. There are some techniques to get it working but it's not something I'm considering. Take a look at this patch which enables C/C engagements for AC though I've not tested it myself.
sugnaO Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 So I'm not exactly sure what happened. but When i started a new game it was working, i used the MCM to set all my settings, then i went and did my other mods, but then whe i went back to double check the mod, the MCM for it stopped working. like i would click the tab and it would just not load anything and ill be forced to exit back to game completely before i could use the mcm again. it's only this mod, and i think the whole mod stopped working since invite hotkey stopped working when i went to test. i had the mod up and working prior with the same mods on a previous character when i was testing (started a new character since i went all kinds of places with that test character) and never ran into this, so it was just sudden. I really dont wanna have to redo all my settings with a bran new character again, and definitely dont want to just run into the problem again and again any advice? im trying many troubleshoot methods like reinstalling, loading in uninstalled then saving then installing again. and so on. nothing yet. even got a save cleaner

Issues with the MCM is a symptom of this. There is a long-standing issue with the MCM where starting a quest while the menu is open can cause it to temporarily lock up and stop responding. Usually exiting out and returning to the MCM will fix it. In AC's case enabling follower or creature dialogue can result in this behaviour. I may look at pushing the quest start operations out of the MCM event system altogether in future as it is annoying. You'll notice similar behaviour from SexLab when enabling creature animations. For anything else I would need to see a papyrus log for a game in which the AC MCM was failing to respond. Remember to use the profiles system to save and load your AC settings.

What's happening in the MCM when invite is not working? Can you access AC MCM, can you accessed other MCMs? A papyrus log for a game in which this behaviour is demonstrated would be very useful. BethINI can be used to enable logging. Under the General tab enable logging and tracing. The logs will be found in the MyGames folder for SkyrimSE under Logs/Script and you want Papyrus0.log file.

skyrim482 Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 Im not sure if this an option configurable with this mod or slso or possibly defeat. On the struggle system, It would be interesting an possibly immersive if as you try to struggle it would have a chance to raise the aggressor arousal as well as the slso excitement bar bar. Maybe a configurable mcm option?

jdods13 Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 HI there. I am using this mod with the VR version of Skyrim. Everything seems to be working perfectly however I have the funny bizness female creature animations (Playing a male character) and when I came across a giantess (Naked giants) She started reverse cow girl. To test I ended the SL animation and initiated sex with her again and reverse cowgirl was selected again. I attempt to change the animation but only seems to be able to get reverse cowgirl with the giantess... What could cause this? It isn't exactly a terrible issue but I wanted to make sure that I can access all of the animations that I have installed. I only have an anim count of 255.

If arousal levels are not increasing then the issue is likely to be with this mod. Try reducing the time between scans which is quite long be default. Creature arousal display is handled by Creature Framework (bundled with More Nasty Critters though there is also a stand-alone version). If creatures are not using their aroused models when expected then you will need to check the CF settings and perhaps visit it's support thread. 4 hours ago, jdods13 said: HI there. Check that you actually have suitable animations available for Giants. You can look this up in Aroused Creatures MCM > Aggressive Animations. Also check the AC MCM > Help page to see if there are any obvious issues that might be contributing. You could also try SexLab MatchMaker to see if you are able to get any alternate animations for the creature without Aroused Creatures filtering. If there are still issues then I will need to see a papyrus log for a game where this is happening. You will need to enable papyrus logging (you can use BethINI for this) and then enable the Debug option in the MCM before triggering an animation. 1
roulk Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 Initially had the game crash right before sex with a horse started. Uninstalled Animals SOS, and tried again, got my character to give the horse a good old handy. 2 other things I noticed though: 1) The sex has no bearing on my character's arousal for SexLab arousal. It's a little annoying if she can have sex with any other person to calm her arousal, but sex with a horse somehow doesn't count. 2) The "doggystyle" animation seems to not work. The horse pursues my character as she's bent over in the inviting position, but when the scene (eventually) starts, neither of them do anything that looks like doggy style. The horse stands in a neutral position, while my character remains wiggling her butt, usually facing the wrong way and floating off the ground. And the sequence won't end on its own either, I have to force it to stop or be stuck there forever. Has this already been brought up?
Kakasholin Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 Noticed that dogs will show as " tries to pin you down" when they try to aggressively have sex with you. If you choose resist, you automatically win. This isn't the invisible dog glitch because I see them, just they have no name and you will always win a resist, if you choose to submit for sex, it then displays the animal. Any fixes?

Arousal is handled by SexLab Aroused Redux or one of the alternates. Changes in arousal are independent of the mods triggering animations. If there are issues with arousal increasing or decreasing you'll need to check the support thread for that mod. AC doesn't do alter arousal levels at all. To deal with the animation issue make sure you have FNIS Creature Pack installed, run Generate FNIS for Users and deal with any errors or warnings (they are all important). If there are still issues go to SexLab MCM > Rebuild & Clean and click on Clean System then follow the instructions in the pop ups. If the problem persists then ask in the SexLab SE Development thread - they will probably ask for a papyrus log there. 5 minutes ago, Kakasholin said: Noticed that dogs will show as " tries to pin you down" when they try to aggressively have sex with you. That message is not from Aroused Creatures and the AC struggle options is automatic with no options offered during engagements. So it sounds like another mod is handling the interaction there. I think that might be Defeat? It's been a while since I actually used it beyond checking compatibility.

Well, good news is, disabling sexlab in game and reinstalling it actually did the trick, was able to get the doggystyle animation to go properly on the first try. I'm 2 weeks into modding, and I'm shocked how many problems are solved by "turn it off and on again". So, thank you for helping me with that. Now I have a new problem: the horse won't leave me alone. I'm not inviting him, I've disabled any "pursuit" functions, I've raised the arousal thresholds for both of us, but the sex sequences are still triggering when horse arousal is at level 0 and he's not even erect. Is there a button I'm not seeing to make where the scenes only play if I give him an invitation?

I'm not exactly looking for a "reset" option, just a button the allows/disallows creatures to start a sex animation without my approval-- unless that's just part of the mods appeal, that creatures can advance themselves on you at any time. Anyway, I did some more readjusting, increased my character's arousal threshold to 75 while the horse is at 20, so now I can wait for him to be aroused to give the "invitation", and it'll take time for my arousal to be high enough to start an animation without my input, so oh well, that's fine. If there is a button that can prevent automatic initiations, that'd be great, but if not, no sweat, I basically have it set up to an enjoyable way now. Thank you for your help with the issues I was having, very considerate of you. ?

Unchecking Allow Weapons means that drawing your weapon will scare pursuing creatures away. Naturally you will need need to know that a creature is pursuing to know when to do this and nearby creatures may not provide any opportunity. Keep in mind that the automated engagements are supposed to be inconvenient. You can turn them off for the PC under PC/NPC setting if you would prefer invitation only.

Really, there's an option for invitation only? I've been looking at the menu for PC/NPC, I could just be blind, but I'm not seeing it. I took some screenshots just in case you wanted to point out exactly what I'm supposed to be seeing Like I mentioned before, this isn't a huge deal now that I have the values set to happen at less frequent intervals. I'm more just curious to know about this button that makes these encounters invitation only, like maybe it's right in front of me and I'm just not seeing it.

But this actually did the trick. Thank you again for your help, and for being really patient with my numerous inquiries.

Even with random engagements disabled some of the configuration on the PC/NPC Settings page will still bleed over into the Dialogue & Interactions systems such as the animation selection options.
