An ill-conceived feature rather than an actual bug. The intention was for the dialogue to become available when the horse is aroused enough to buck the PC off - just a shortcut really. I'll look at broadening the conditions on that topic so it's more generally available.

Nope. This would be the worst kind of feature creep. Many users who might enjoy an SL feature like this may not want to use Aroused Creatures or even install a creature sex mod. If this is going to be implemented it needs to not be tied to any particular type of sex. The only sensible course is a separate SL mod that will work with all SL mods.

 

Also I would not call it a "little thing" as there will need to be a great deal of thought put into the logic and tuning such as hooking into animations events, checking animation tags, scaling the effects, imposing limits, setting lethality conditions if required, making sure it is not interfering with other mods or even vanilla effects. It will need its own MCM to make all this configurable. In order for it to make sense the effect for a horse is going to have to be different than for a skeever, or an argonian, or an orc, and these will need to be configurable per-race as each user may have their own ideas about what sort of damage different species might inflict, which all makes for a very complex configuration system.

 

No, the more I think about it the more I'm convinced this needs someone with the time and inclination to develop it as a standalone project.

I have a similar problem. Some of the creatures sometimes don´t get their schlongs during the animations, even though I set the arousal in CF to 0.

Which - I would have expected would have them run around with erect schlongs all the time, which doesn´t work by the way?

Also, I have set the arousal threshold in the various mods triggering events to 0 to see more activity going on.

Yes overriding arousal and then triggering the creature to update also sometimes works, sometimes not.

 

I had the notion that some of the animals might be female, but

a) this happens also to creatures which are clearly male as they do get schlongs sometimes

b) and I set Aroused Creatures to only regard male creatures, so that no females would get aroused and trigger activities by themselves

c) and also Rebel explained to me that all additional creatures spawned with More Creatures would be male anyway ...

 

So, if in the end this is due to some bug somewhere which results in simply not triggering the schlongs sometimes when they should (maybe Random Sex is faulty?), so maybe there is a way to explicitly 1) turn all creatures in the game into males and/or 2) hardwire erect schlongs to all creatures (by script or individually by console commands)?

 

Any suggestions? I also mailed Rebel, but I don´t want to pester him with my noob questions, so maybe the community knows something?

I understand and accept your first argument. Integrating this feature with Aroused Creatures is not good.

 

But as for the rest of your answer, you're wrong. It's not about creating VERY complex features. I mean something simple.


It could be a mod, where there would be a list of creatures. For each creature there would be a percentage chance and amount of damage. After an oral or vaginal copulation (or during copulation, if possible), the NPC/PC gets hurt. If they exceed his HP, death occurs. That's it. Nothing more. Unless just checking the creature tags and the way you have sex is too complicated.

 

You could create this mod as an optional plugin for Aroused Creatures. And then develop it, if you like.

IMO this approach would be over-simplified to a point where it just isn't a good feature.

 

While you *could* do such a mod this way - there are some pretty extreme differences in animations (especially for the large creatures that would likely cause damage) and it completely leaves out context or human/human animations.  It would be really weird if a consensual horse fondling/oral animation had the same chance of serious injury/death as an animation where the PC is strapped to a table and deep-throats an angry horse.  To figure out that difference a mod would need to dig into the tags on a deeper level than oral/vaginal/anal and race=horse, and probably check for victim status ect as well.

 

There are a lot of human/human animations depicting someone getting hurt (or straight up necro), and I assume people who use those animations may find such a mod feature useful. 

 

Plus you'd really need to be able to scale the damage values as a user - otherwise all but minor sex damage could one-shot a low level and do basically nothing to a high level PC.  Which right away means you need an MCM menu and all the extra work involved in building that.

 

Not saying its a bad idea as a feature - far from it.  I do think this feature would be best as either a stand-alone mod, or at least attached to a more creature neutral mod like Apropos or a needs mod, where it could reach a broader audience.

I know its been brought up before but i cant find the answer. What causes certain creatures to push you several feet before starting the animations. Is there a fix or a setting im missing?

Try increasing the Capture Radius under PC/NPC Settings and see if that reduces the collisions.

I have a similar situation turned out to be connected with CF, which comes complete with MNC. After returning to the old version of CF, the problem is gone. I switched back and forth several times and everything repeated, so I finally switched to Creature Framework 1.1.0-pre2A-SE.

Here the exact steps that work for me.

1. Yes overwrite mnc with the  Creature Framework 1.1.0-pre2A-SE. The one in mnc appears to be broken

2. Get Abc beast skeletons so some of the new animations work properly.

3. Run fnis

4. launch skyrim

5. Now in your game go to creature framework in the mcm and hit the re register all mods button in the settings menu. Close it and give it a minute.

6. Go back in the menu under creature framework and make sure the creatures say More nasty creatures under their mesh section.

Be careful if you are trying to use sos and abc.

 

 

Now if you have it set to 0 ( I would set it to 10 at the lowest )  for arousal and they are not showing up or it takes a long time. Go to your sexlab aroused in mcm and lower you cell scan time a bit. They should update on the next scan. Hope it helps.

Maybe the dog is of the wrong gender and you have switched off (not allowed) this combination in the settings. Or you have disabled creature animations altogether.

BTW: For everyone who has problem with animal schlongs not getting erect when they should and who don´t want to fiddle around with settings or deinstalling and reinstalling etc, here´s a quick fix for you - just make them all constantly erect.

Not a real solution, just a work around - for all you nasty people like me ?

 

But: It requires More Nasty Creatures, More Creatures and Hentai Creatures. If you are nasty, you have that anyway ...

After trying to invite the creature go to the Help page in the Aroused Creatures MCM and hover the pointer over the most recent failure codes for the creature and player. An explanation of the failure will be displayed at the bottom.

 

The help page will also show warnings for common mistakes in setting up SexLab for creature animation, such as not enabling creature animation.

Sorry to be of bother, but no matter what I try to do to fix this, the Aroused Creatures Mod Menu will never appear in game and I just cannot figure out as to why this is the case. I've read everywhere I could to try and find an answer to this problem but couldn't find one. I am new to modding so sorry if it's something obvious and I'm just overlooking some simple fix. I'm getting a "NOANIMS" failure for a creature, even though I've checked that SLAL has animations for said creature. Does the name of the creature matter? I'm using the Sisterhood of Dibella mod, for reference, which adds a Flame Atronach named "Tormentor."

I came here checking for what he asked about too. I guess I understand why it's not implemented, but as someone who has been trying to make Defeat work with his games for years, it's just not feasible. Somewhere around v3 was the most stable I had it on LE.

I've spent the last few weeks finally upgrading to SE and I love this version of AC you have here. It works great with groups, and queuing up is fantastic.

Defeat only made animation load slower, and conflicted (not CTD, just made animations not end properly) heavily with this and Mass Matchmaker and RandomSex.

 

I'm basically trying to make Skyrim more dangerous for traveling NPCs, and Defeat just was too much for what I wanted. It would not let me have only NPCs as targets and ignore followers, even with the proper boxes checked and unchecked. It also still has the glitch of having my male whiterun guards ravished by wolves.

 

So, being part of the minority here, I'm not expecting you to implement anything, but a mod to work with this to simply engage NPCs from hostiles (like a pack of werewolves spawning from Random Encounters and swarming an NPC out on patrol from Follower Goes on a Trip. Or, turning off notifications and sneaking through a draugr infested tomb, only to miss some, and have them ambush a follower without my knowledge, and having to backtrack to find them)

Hey Sailing Rebel just wondering if you have any future plans for this mod. Would it be difficult to add a bonding/ relationship mechanic to your creature followers/ horse. The more times you play with him the relationship grows. Maybe step up the animations like rank 1 only allows for oral and 5 anal. That is your pet and if you keep hm happy he only is interested in you unless a follower is interested. Follower creature might get an arousal spike if he sees pc mating with anything else and force himself onto pc. Just an idea.

Hello!

 

I have a weird problem with my mod. The creature animations that come with this mod only loads for the animal and not my character. Sometimes when I engage with my follower my horse would do the animation while my character stands still. I ran over FNIS and tried to troubleshoot it but I can't come across any fixes. Is there any way to disable your animations?

I have a weird problem with my mod. The creature animations that come with this mod only loads for the animal and not my character. Sometimes when I engage with my follower my horse would do the animation while my character stands still. I ran over FNIS and tried to troubleshoot it but I can't come across any fixes. Is there any way to disable your animations?

The only animation specific to this mod should be the invite animation witch takes place before SL scene. You issue is likely coming from something else. Have you enabled all your animations in SLAL? Do you have creatures enabled in your SL settings.

Hey guys, can you help me out here? I'm having a really weird issue with this mod. The only thing is that no engagements are happening, however, whenever I invite a creature with dialog, the animations work perfectly. In addition the hentai creatures 'training' works without issue as well, it's only the random engagements that aren't happening. I've tried everything I can think of, short of reinstalling the mod and I'm kind of afraid to do that cause I don't want to bork the load order. I do use LOOT.

I set it so only creature arousal matters, puppeteer the creatures to have 100 arousal in addition to the zero percent required to start an engagement. I also dropped the time between scans to one second. Still no creatures engaging of their own volition. I even ticked on the allow actors in scenes in case that was the issue, still no dice. FNIS is up to date, and I tried all the normal fixes. 

Many thanks in advance, I am plum out of ideas.

There are a ton of settings which way inhibt the correct conditions happening. Can you maybe share the full settings?

There are settings in Aroused Creatures as well as in the Creature Framework and in SexLab.

I have everything set up correctly as far as I'm. Creature animations are allowed, the animations are loaded. All of the aroused creatures 'help' things are showing up green.

One thing I did notice is that I think the scan seems to be the problem. Whenever I load a game and check the console it mentions that [slar] scan has completed a 0.000FT scan or something. I did try to reset the creature scan radius to a lower 72 feet to see if that fixed it, but it's still saying the scan is zero feet wide.

Another thing that could be related is that hitting my 'invite' key does nothing. I must approach a creature in dialogue to get them to engage with me.

But there are tons of settings, are you looking for anything in particular?

I am not thinking of anything in particular. But just a couple of examples:

  • You could have set up the engagement criteria so that both the attacker and the victim need to have a high level of arousal, which may never happen.
  • Or, you may have set it up so that all engagements are non-consentual and at the same time you may have disallowed the system to use aggressive animations.
  • Or you may have female creatures and set it up to use gender-specific animations (while there are almost none for female creatures available).
  • Or you may have set it up to not allow FF or MM animations but that´s the combinations you come across.
  • Or you may have set the arousal to be blocked for the PC or the NPCs.
  • etc.

There are sooo many things you could potentially set up inhibiting proper automatic engagements. It´s impossible to tell from the distance. For this we would need to see screenshots of all your configuration screens. You may also have conflicting mod installed.

 

When you mention that the scan radius is weird, this may point to another problem. As long as there are SexLab animations going on, the scan will be skipped. Maybe in your save there is a locked thread still existing, so the system thinks there is some animation playing and never recalculated the arousal. You may need to clean SexLab by stopping all animations to check this.

 

Also, when you say the invite animation "does nothing", does it not play the invite animation or does the creature not react? You could also check the console or the logs to see what debug notifications or error messages are popping up.


So you need to be much more specific. You also wouldn´t just call a car garage and tell them "My car doesn´t work, but I think I am doing everything right" and expect them to have a solution for you ?‍♂️

I know, I'm not looking for instant solutions, just some help with trial and error.

And the invite key does, flat out, nothing. There is nothing output to the console, no animation is played, I don't even get a 'the creature is not interested in you' message. It's as if the game doesn't register I'm pushing they key at all. And I'm using the numpad 9 for my invite hotkey if that makes a difference. 

I will go down your list tommorrow and if none of those work I will be here again with screenshots.

One thing I will say is that sexlab seems to register all creatures as female even though they have big ole dicks. I have match creature genders on, would that be causing issues?

This could be the case. For instance, if you use the Always Erect mod version which gives female creatures male meshes (there are multiple versions of this mod available, as described), then they will look male but still be female internally. Having turned "Match Creature Genders" on, will try to find female animations, but unfortunately, there are very few female animations in general, so most of the time, nothing will happen. You would need to switch this option off, so that all creatures are regarded as males. The downside is that you will loose out on seeing the handful of female creature animations, though. Or use a different version of the mod.

Maybe there are other mods conflicting as well, which I am not aware of.

 

But the fact that the invite key does not even trigger an animation is worrying. Maybe you need to rerun FNIS and res-register all animations?

Got your screenshots, I am plumb stumped. I tried what you said and no dice, and re-registered fnis and still no invite animation. I have also tried using a controller button incase it was my keyboard but that didn't work either. I also tried turning the invite animation off to see if an invite was possible without, no dice.
