Suggestion:
Have there be surrender options for both the player and NPCs
I use Defeat and I want to be able to capture/sell enemies using this mod. If I want to do this, Defeat is basically broken as this mod takes priority over Defeat's death alternative

It is.

 

If you enable combat surrender you can configure NPC surrender options.

I see sometimes NPC surrenders to me, but is complicated because of followers. It's kill NPC or force it's attack after surrender. Better use this option without follower.

 

Also you have magic "Touch of control" what allows surrender women NPC if it's hit by this magic (Dollmaker sells this magic for 10000 gold (1 level speech, with more level - cheaper))

If you contact with Slaver trader in Riwerwood you can sell captured enemies to him for DCL price. Also his gives to you book of teleport to allows teleport to him with captured slave and after sell, teleports back.

Or do with those NPC some nasty things (kill as example =_=)

 

Also Dollmaker gives you to sword after some DCL quests, what have enchantment on, what's forces women NPC to surrender. With hit there is chance to bind NPC in chains and after that she surrender.

Probably if you have good enchanter level you can take this enchantment off and put in another weapon. I don't test it.

UPD: tests show that you can. Only this weapon need use very carefully. Hit one time to NPC women, then no hit her (she starts gray glowing) and wait while DCL applies a restraints. Then you can talk with her and capture her.

I had a bug that prevented me from finishing the Chloe Quest normally. The Dollmaker wouldn't give me the proper dialogue at the end of the quest (having Chloe "explain" what happened). I had to edit the quest stage manually to get the final line of dialogue with Chloe and then use the MCM to take off the restraints (and spawn in a key for the vibrator because that didn't get taken off).

Don't do that it can breaks all quest line later.

Also if you do it in DCL 9.0 you don't get next quest from Dollmaker and quest line is broken.

I don't see that problem but i can guess. You need enter in shop when are day (shopkeepers trade) and then dialogue will appear. Or open dialogue with Dollmaker and wait sometimes (need time to script load a proper dialogue) Also while wait try list dialogue to up and down. Sometimes dialogue is invisible in bottom or this force to update dialogue window.

Well, unfortunately I'm already well past doing it. I'm not super concerned with all of the DCL quests. If the other quests are broken, I'll work around that too. I just need to remember that I might have done it to myself.

Heyho,

I've made a teeny tiny little QOL addon for DCUR SE v9.0: It's a simple plugin, that just adds a quest marker to Jack The Belter for those who want it.

Why I've made this? Quite simple: I wanted to progress Chloe's quest, but right before I could speak to Nazeem the first time, I got belted by Jack. And after searching for him for some realtime hours, I just got bored ^^

 

No DCUR files are edited, the plugin itself has been cleaned by SSEEdit, as well as it's esl-ified to keep space free for other mods.

There's no script, no MCM, nothing but the added marker. And if you want to really search first, just untick the quest in your journal to hide the marker ;) 

 

Installation archive in spoiler, so nobody can download it "by accident" :P

Hey folks!

 

I've noticed the "[Solicitation] Do you like what you see" dialog option isn't there when a character has a chastity belt on.. But WHY? She can still perform an oral sex on client! Furthermore I wanted to choose "Sex for keys" option to try to ask a client to remove the belt completely.. But I can't since the dialog is not there :(

 

Maybe someone knows of some workaround? Can this "Solicitaion" dialog be forcefully activated? Some variable that needs to be changed maybe?..

In short - you need edit about 3 - 5 dialogues in xedit and add new dialogue answer  (by copy as new record into DCL old dialogue match type) like: "only oral as assume", edit in this dialogue devious belt condition, add near new condition if you wear a gag too, then can't and hope that in DCl nothing more broke and animations filter take only oral sex scenes or not end sex scene without any animation.

That's in shot.

Oh, thank you for the tip, man! It gave me a basic understanding of where to look :)

What I finally did was much simplier that you suggested - I've just deleted the condition which was checking if the player has a belt on and - voila, it works!!

DCL is not triggering regardless of percent chances. Not using Quick Loot as per main page. Other aspects of mod are working... finding frigid wash positions, Chloe quest. etc...

 

Set minimum arousal to 1. 

 

Is there a list of usual suspects of what may be preventing triggers from happening?

I suggested full check - if you have chastity belt and gag then in theory you can't do oral. In your case you can do solicitation even in gag and it's cheat: you can do solicitation and earn money without sex because there no sex scenes what can select DD filter.

Yes. DCL MCM-> Debug-> Active quest running - true.

If true DCL events is disabled. When quests are completed variable changes to false and events start working.

Chloe quest blocks events as example.

Brilliant! Active quest definitely running! How to cancel quest once started? Tried using setstage on chloe quest to complete. that worked! tried for bound in skyrim and that did not end the quest.

No need to end this quest - this is main quest line whats only shows what quest is active into DCL. It's not block events. If active quest running still true then some of other DCL quests is active or Chloe quest ends wrong because of setstage.

Yes, I realise that :) and I can always RP it and not to use variants that are technically imposible.

Started new game... works as expected! (Just completely skipping Chloe quest). Thank you again for the explanation. Much appreciated!

No it hasn't been done yet. I'm kinda burned out on bodyslide atm.

 

However, Roggvir is back, and he was the guy originally doing some of the conversions. He's going through and updating several of the bodyslides now. Armbinders will be getting a facelift, and straitjackets were also redone.

So, unrelated to your issue tekkkie, i was having some really weird issues with DCL 9.0.
I could open the MCM page perfectly fine, but if i clicked on the Debug tab, the MCM would stop responding.
I could exit out of the MCM, but on that save game if i went back into the MCM and clicked on the DCL entry it would come up blank, no longer letting me access the standard pages.
I disabled DCL 9 and installed an old copy of DCL (6.4) started new game, DCL worked fine, Debug page and all. Went back out, swapped back to DCL 9.
Same as before, bugged out debug page.
I figured there was some conflict somewhere, so I was pondering the task of disabling pretty much everything and re-enabling until i found the culprit.
Seeing your post I figured I'd try disabling POP by itself on the off chance its that, and DCL 9.0 started responding perfectly with POP disabled.

Can we get an option to lower chances of finding cursed loot/keys to decimals?

The main problem is that keys can't be set lower than 0.5 and 1.0.

Which makes it hard to balance against the trigger rate for nice and smooth gameplay.

I'd prefer to play with 2-3% trigger rate, but then i get too many keys. So if we could adjust key drops to decimal values it'd be nice. Or chance key drop rate to a percent of basic cursed loot chance.

Cant say I blame you with all the work you put into this. With the newest versions of DD and DCL my game is the most stable it has ever been. Even elbowbinders are looking better now than before though with a minor clipping issue still but looking infinitely better.

Sorry for the double post, but on the topic of elbowbinders, does anyone know what causes this difference? Picture 1 is how is looked originally, picture 2 is how it looked after saving and reloading the game. No difference other than reloading the same save.

To hook onto this.
I also get the clipping with the elbowbinder (armbinders are fine).
I was actually here to ask about elbow binders anyway...
All elbowbinders are invisible. Except the black ebonite one, that one shows up just fine.
All other devices work and I can also see the white leather elbowbonder when I drop it on the ground.

What body are you using again?

 

Save and reload should have functionally been the same as when I was adjusting the bodyslides in game and unequipping/re-equipping to see the changes. All that happens is the nif is loaded again. The only way that would happen is if your nif changed between game loads (like by reinstalling or re-running bodyslide with a different preset) or if your body changed between saving and reloading.

 

Are you on vortex? it like to revert my files a while back when I was manually changing the files.  But I'd expect it to be a bug if it's doing it to bodyslide output files.

Just a question, not saying that's the issue. I stopped using vortex a while back.
