No you can't. There's a percentage of losing your weapon on hit, and it happens automatically from there. Or at least that was my experience before I turned it back off and switched back to DA/Defeat. But that was more because when it triggered it kept switching to weapon combat when I was trying to brawl.

Now, a new problem. 

I'm doing Supply and demand, (I think) and I"m in the second part where Vekel wants you to go clean dirt in Riften. As soon as the dialog closes my game crashes. Now I'm imagining that what's happening is whatever he puts you in at that point is making me crash similar to the prisoner chains issue a while back. Any idea what's going on and how to fix it?

 

I've gotta say, this new playthrough is a lot more frustrating than my last. The game itself seems to have more issues. My biggest headache lately is that periodically something will freak out and my fps drops to single digits, and the camera blinks in and out of focus. I'm thinking it's my dolomite weather clashing with something.  No one I've asked about it seems to have a clue what I'm talking about with it though.

 

DCL issues have been pretty minor in comparison though. 

 

Nothing special at that point that I recall. It may be more chains, but I only did it once, and don't quite remember. If your framerate keeps dropping though, you might want to try with not using as much SMP. That's a well known framerate hog. I haven't heard of weather doing the same for anything / anywhere.

 

Try building non hdt chains to start. If that doesn't work, get rid of SMP hairs and any SMP clothing.

Since the code has already been mentioned once, Kimy's probably aware. You can post the code fix again on the LE thread to be sure it's seen. This is what I'd recommend, and then just wait for the next version to fix it.

 

That said, I can't stop you from posting it here if you want. If you're confident your code does what you say it does, it should be fine. I'm just worried about inexperienced users posting patches that break other things or don't do what is intended, or people installing old patches that no longer apply.

Fair enough, I asked before posting the compiled script exactly because I am not experienced enough with Papyrus to actually tell if I'm breaking something somewhere else (90% sure i'm not, I literally just added an array and 13 conditions, but still), and i know that random patches are a nightmare for troubleshooting.

I'll just ping Kimi on the LE thread later :D

This thing not complain so much as i think

1) because full set is rare event or even no one recognize that is not work or turn off full set equipping.

2) This bug happens mostly on fast PC or Skyrim, what is light modded. If you have many mods it's slows down CPU and DD have time to equip all sets. Natural delay.

 

Also this bug make a second invisible bug when after this procedure spawns in inventory invisible rendered devices, what's locks chance to equip this device later. If you play long time and have all possible rendered devices from DD or DCL in inventory - no one DD item not will be equip by scripts or manually. Natural defense from DCL traps)

Also i already post video post in this thread about it.

 

I fix both problems for me by recompile scripts, but only for me.

But anyway i agree that we need toss cards in Kimy size and wait what she done with this bug.

Depend on scripts original text she takes off delay from previous version and mark this as fix for duplicate inventory device. And yes it fix it (but only partially - on fast PC it's send equip signal for arm cuffs and in next cycle it's check if arm cuffs is equipped. As equip process still run (rendered device) - then game thinks that arm cuffs not equipped and spawn new arms cuffs and send new equip signal.  This process repeat so long while resolves first equip signal for rendered device and other signals duplicate rendered devices into your inventory. Also as equip cycle have count this count now is less for duplicate items equipped and more that equip chastity belt it's not gone. Because you got 3 or 4 arm cuffs in inventory and no one suit on you.), but start duplicate rendered devices what is depend on new DD 5.0 equip system more worse. Also she hopes that new DD equip system is more fast as it in reality. Because this bug happen.

Yes this makes sense, and explain some strange behaviour I was experiencing in the past. I have yet to test if this was also related to the minigame in the riverwood club where i would often get duplicates of the collar or the cuffs, basically giving me a free round.

I'll have to investigate more when I have time.

 

However it's true that it's kinda hard to notice. I noticed the problem because i was using the 'tie me up' debug to solve another issue, and i could not figure out what was causing the mod to equip just half of the items, otherwise i would have misses it as well.

Probably not. There is some more DCL equip procedures what is marked as fix in DCL and equip delay is taken off. For those all procedures i'm in script return this delay too.

UPD: And in theory there no rush to equip collar - because it's equip only one new items. Maybe there is something different.

I did find the key its in my inventory when i found her at the start before asking her to follow i spoke to her it did nothing only asked to follow

2) you speak with her and agree to free her.

3) there spawns a strong box (or how it's named), you go there and take key from it.

4) you go back to Chloe and speak with her again. It will free her from her bonds.

5) you have a quest to take Chloe as a follower.

6) you take Chloe as a follower. NFF don't break things.

7) you speak with Chloe again agreeing to help her with searching her things

8. you go to place where ashes says to tp through wall. HERE ASLAL CAN BREAK THINGS!!!

9) if it is (you have some message and then tp out of dungeon - go by aslal place where you did your end of aslal quest. Go to spiders. Maybe you will need to re-enter there, run here and there, but in some time you will see soldier that will have a note.

 

BTW, what is The Dollmaker sword? And what "powerful magic" it has on it?

Good thing at game start. With one hit women enemy, she was completely bind up and helpless. Be aware not to hit second time or follower hit her. It's break a things. After when she is completely bind (script need time to apply restraints) - speak with her and you can take her valuables, sell to slave trader or do another fancy things. And check is magic not empty or hit will not work)

First you need install DD SE 5.1 AIO, in installation process activate all plugins and then install a DCL SE 9.0

The Error

 

Make sure DD 5.1 is installed. Then on the plugins section, make sure vortex activated the esms after you deploy the mod. DCL won't install if the esms are missing or not active.

I already sorted it but thanks for the instructions i just Shutdown the mod in game saved disabled DCL in MO saved and re-enabled in MO and reset the mod to the Begining its fixed it i unlocked chloe fine this time and it might had been a bug with Helgen reborn

 

and the dollmaker equip it on your character and look in your magic affects it should tell you what it dose

Not a sword... Sword don't show in effects because it not affects *me*, it affects that one who I attack with it. I tried attacking but didn't see anything...

PS This sword is... Really not follower-friendly... Or you need to bind your follower's hands so she will not attack...

You don't need a NPC id, but NPC placed reference and it is 100DE979

So I built all the noHDT chains and it worked. As there were only 10 of them, I added the HDT back in until it crashed, and it's the prisoner chains that's doing it. But since Chloe is also in them, it's not until the game has to deal with 2 sets (one on Chloe, and one on me) that it crashes. At least in my game.

 

And on the other issue, been playing a few hours and haven't had a framerate/focus issue since I disabled Dolomite. Very wierd.

Prisoner chains are a PITA. For the most part, they 'work' as they are. Positioning was improved some and they don't crash for most people. Some people still see crashes and we haven't been able to trace it to what in the mesh causes the problem. Probably best to keep to the non hdt version of the prisoner chains if it causes CTDs sometimes for you.

If you still have noHDT chains, delete all D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\devious\Heretic\Restraints all prisonerchains xml files. This is hdt smp configuration files and sometime sit can cause crash even if build nohdt version.

When you want restore prisoner chains hdt physics you need restore those files too.

Alright thank you, i'm lucky i haven't talked to Julius yet in The Bound of Queen. It looks like i'm on stage 3 on Leon's quest.

This quest (Leon's) is fun, but after that quest there can be started one time by your will new quest what in DCL 9.0 not block prison. but make you a little busy. Anyway it's need you to decide want this quest or not. But decision can be make only one time per save.
