  1. Picasso and Community

salut, Almighty All, says the legend that, sometime after the end of WWII, Picasso and some friends were sitting outside "Le Deux Magots" (or another café at Saint-Germain-des-Prés) when the café owner approached their table and asked if the artist could draw a new logo for the place. Picasso smiled, took a piece of paper and some coloured pencils out of his beaten leather pack, spent a minute or two thinking, then portrayed a rooster or a flamingo or another bird of the sort — something simple but powerful. minutes later the artist handled the café owner his piece; the proprietor (in between sobs and tears?) began to complement the painter and his creation effusively. "— Master Picasso, this is priceless! Priceless! oh! my; oh! my! genius; you are a genius, sir!” and began to walk back toward the main room of his café holding the piece. "— it's twenty-thousand Francs," said Picasso. "— what?!?" asked the owner. "— the piece; it will cost you twenty-thousand Francs." "— but master Picasso, we never made arrangements for a price; besides, it took you no more than ten minutes to draw this piece…" to which Picasso replied, "— the price i'm setting now; besides, it took me a lifetime and ten minutes to draw it." and took his piece back. * * * * * * * i don't know about the factuality of this anecdote; it is known, however, that Picasso was a materialistic — if not money oriented — artist. yet, he was spot on: every piece created is the result of its artist’s time on Earth; her/his empirical experiences, inner understanding, etc. so it is a Lifetime and 10 minutes. as a classical music composer in need to survive, i double in several areas of audio, such as film scoring, audio restoration, translation and production of game localization, as well as the development of highly-oriented database solutions for the audio restoration projects i join. solely as a classical composer, i'm often asked to write pieces for small ensembles (duos, trios, quartets, sinfonietta, et al) and solo performers. even though i'm an experienced and erudite creator, these pieces take quite a long while to be written — somewhere between three to eighteen months, depending on its length — for they are produced alongside other jobs and projects. i don’t really know how to price these creations, so i let the performers try them first; if they like it, then we talk about its value. it’s never an easy conversation; people’s purchase power has been thinning since 2007, meaning we composers have had to conform the value of our creations to a new and often negative reality. when i got here, Lovers’ Lab, in the beginning of last year, i was looking for animations for the Awesome Woohoo Mod i had recently downloaded from another forum. LL, for its seriousness toward a rather obscure yet prolific subject (Adult Modding), truly impressed me. also, this was one of the few forums i actually perceived a strong sense of Community. i then downloaded some CC and animations, read most articles, till i realized two simple yet utterly important things: this is a Modding Community (i know i'm repeating myself); if i'm taking, i have to give back (otherwise i'm nothing short of a freeloader). so i decided to give back on the same level, and began to learn about Sims 3 modding (that's the game i mostly play). nonetheless, i have the wrong computer (an old i5 iMac), the wrong platform (OS X, even though i have Windows 7 installed as a virtual OS), and the wrong 3D application (4D, for i never got the grasp of Blender). so, in conclusion: i'm totally wrong for this business. hence i decided to help with my little knowledge on Macintoshes (got my first when i was 9/10 yo — a Mac 512 KB), as well as producing background music for Mods. but i want to do more; if and when i have some money to spare, i will more than gladly help support the Forum as well as some of its modders. * * * * * * finally. as i insisted above, Lovers' Lab is a Modding Community. the Oxford Dictionary defines this word as; a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals: the sense of community that organized religion can provide; a similarity or identity: writers who shared a community of interests; joint ownership or liability: a commitment to the community of goods. but here it goes even deeper. when a creator offers her/his Mods or CC or Animations to our Community, s/he shows an immense respect for all of us. it’s an act of sheer love: s/he gives her/his time, knowledge, creativeness, etc. the least i can do is to give the same respect in return. my deepest gratitude to all modders and creators. wish you all the very best, E.
  2. Hello Everybody, Longtime lurker here. Been here lurking about for about 3.5 years, and I only really post when I have a scripting question. I am the type of person who only mods for himself, I have about a dozen mods I have made, all unreleased. Some of them are unfinished, of course. Many of them I made just to match my specific tastes. For Example: I love mods like Maria Eden, but I wanted a follower mod that matched more my specific tastes, so I just made one from scratch. It isn't nearly complex, but it suits what I need it for. Another reason I haven't released mods are because they harp too much on specific fetishes of mine, like I have a follower quest mod specifically centered completely around spanking. I am also not the best at making scripts that are friendly to other peoples games, I modify game scripts all the time to get objects to behave a little differently. I could just duplicate said objects, but alas, laziness. Anyway, due to: Laziness, Unfinished Mods, Mods Already Similar Being Out, and just being a Reclusive Weirdo. I never release anything. It got me thinking, maybe I am not the only one who makes mods just for myself. So, do you have any unreleased mods? If you are comfortable enough, would you kindly say what do they do and why didn't you release them? Thanks Folks, -Keltol
  3. It's been a long time since any mods came out for Starbound that have been worth looking at for a long time, especially adult Oriented mods. It leaves me wondering if making a sex mod for the game would actually be possible. Anyone know of any (Adult Oriented) mods for the game that are stable, or anyone willing to work on such mods? (proceeds to hint at Sexbound mod like Sexlab)

Modder's resource of the billboard, magazines, paintings and posters as found in the .ba2 files of Fallout 4. Since the site reverted, I couldn't figure out how to upload a file so here are the resource files again. I know there are posters in the factories (warning posters), but I couldn't find them in the .ba2. Personally I use a resolution of 2048x2048 for my own mod to get a more crisp picture. Some textures are scaled that I know of: Billboards like billboardslrgtall_blank01_d use a resolution of 2048x1280 and then scale it to 2048x2048 (1.0x Width x 1.6x Height) Billboards like billboardsmtallblastradiusl_d use a resolution of 1365x2048 and then scale it to 2048x2048 (1.5x Width x 1.0x Height) Some textures (most of the paintings) are striped/checkered, I haven't yet figured out what's the best solution to get a nice picture. Also the paintings come in wide and small frames, which could mess up your picture. If there is any interest in some Fallout logo's that I created, then I may upload that as well.

  14. People keep bringing this up, and I'm appalled by how much this stuff has to get repeated. So I'm writing (another) guide so that it doesn't need to get repeated, but instead just linked. The experienced of us can now just link this thread when questions like these come up: "I have torpedo breasts, plz help" "My torso is a different size!" "My body just exploded" "I didn't read the description but I'm going to ask for help anyway and make it painfully obviously clear I didn't read it in my please help post" Purpose: You get inside game and find your body (or any weighted mesh) does not look as advertised. Their are crushed breasts, or torpedo breasts. Extended leg sizes, tweaked torso's etc... Bottom line is you didn't get the 'As Advertised' pics in your game. 3dsMax: Step 1. Load 3dsMax (Optional) Step 1a. Download the attached Max scene file, and open it up in 3dsMAX (double click). It contains XPMSE 2+ scales and will ONLY fix your mesh deformations if you are using XPMSE 2+ skeleton from groovtama! Skip Steps 2 & 3 if you do this. Step 2. Navigate and find your skeletonfemale.nif Step 3. Load skeletonfemale.nif into 3dsMax with skeleton option ticked on (Tick off collisions and camera importing options) Note: Regardless of what method you chose, your final screen should look something like this where the objects are identified as bones and NOT dummies! Step 4. Load your body mesh (femalebody.nif) into 3dsMax, keep the skeleton option ticked OFF (Optional) Step 5. Inside your 3dsmax scene, double check that when you move a bone, it deforms the mesh along with it. Step 6. Select your body mesh, and select it's skin modifier Step 7. Under advanced options, untick the 'always deform' option Step 8. Re-tick the always deform option Step 9. Re-export Step 10. Check your mesh in Nifskope to set textures correctly! Outfit Studio Way: Requires a pre-configured 'Weight Template' Mesh (You can make them in 3dsmax/Blender) (The mesh is already confirmed working correctly with the skeleton in-game) 1. Move your installed skeletonfemale.nif to your Bodyslide's /res folder. Rename it to anything you want (ex: newskeletonfemale.nif) 2. Open bodyslide config.xml, edit the Animation line that points to skeleton your new skeleton. 1. Load template mesh as reference 2. Load actual body mesh 3. Select body mesh on the right hand side 4. Select 'Copy all weights' 5. Export Gerra6's Mesh Rigger: Coming soon, doing some tests with and all that jazz. Blender: I don't use blender, but if a blender user could contribute the steps for a fix like this, it would be most appreciated. Causes of this problem: XPMSE 2.43 3dsMax Resource.rar
  15. Hi again! I already worked with animations for SSG project, ASX, and made some requests, including fake-paired animations (since I don't know yet how to create truly paired animations, as far as I know, there is no simple way to achieve them). And now I'm going to make an animation library for modders to use. And a XP32 3ds max rig also. RIG A 3ds max CAT rig for XP32's skeleton. It is already finished, and works, I just need to test it more before I release it to you. ANIMATIONS Animations will be separated into categories. Current list of suggested animations. Animation List Old post Also, note that I'm mostly interested in adult animations, sex\erotic animations, female deaths and tortures, and other kinky stuff. And I'm NOT interested in any kind of animations, which will ruin the Skyrim atmosphere, like ANIME-Style overdone animations, and such You can check some of my works here http://www.loverslab.com/topic/13047-taking-animation-requests-mocap-enhanced/
  16. Got an idea for a new sexlab mod you'd like to pitch or are starting? Discuss it here and I'll keep this post updated with known mods in development and ideas people have. ---- Current known mods in development ------------------------------ SexLab Succubus by ashal A player addition mod that gives the player the ability to be turned into a succubus/seducer. Functions much like a vampire, only instead of needing blood you need to have sex. As you progress as a succubus you gain sexual related abilities and buffs and the further you get from your last "feeding" the weaker you get with those abilities and start to suffer penalties. ---- Current unused mod ideas -------------------------------------------- Pay for inns and bounties with sex Integrate sexual options for progressing various vanilla quests Sex related perk tree STD risk Pregnancy risk
