Aww, I'm glad you're enjoying the story and thank you for forgiving the delay. It was actually on the back of my mind "Colly asked not to make him wait 2 months and it's already been TWO MONTHS!!!" ? By the way, you have no idea how grateful I am for your poser mod. Did you know that you're one of the few modders that created normal sitting poses? I was positively going insane trying to find something that fit the scenes without it being explicit/contorted/involving props. Thank you! ?<--tears of joy.

Thank you for the kind words, Worik. Mister Hoot (the grumpy owl) is in game and was custom made for me by @SpyVsPie during our crossover project (for which I'm really thankful). And because he's such an amazing owl I simply had to write a story that featured him. Sure there are pretty naked ladies doing naughty stuff in my tale but we all know that it's Mister Hoot running the show. ?

Well, that was Delightful!  

The focus on Menalia's manipulation was what initially attracted me to the story.  She's the type of character where I'm interested in where her machinations are going to take her, but also, I'm interested in seeing what happens when they go wrong.   

I also enjoyed the feat comparison between Bunny and Trez.  Bunny help at her local library and makes alchemical mistakes, Trez goes to birthday parties and kills everyone.  I can tell they're going to be best friends.  ?

For some reason I really empathized with the Argonian Mage.  They do need more representation!

Oooh, I'm glad you like Menalia.  She's probably the most manipulative character that I've ever created.  Of course there are reasons why she does what she does and we'll slowly learn more about them. However, as you noted even the most carefully laid out schemes do not always go as planned. ?

Yes, you are right! Bunny helps - HELPS - at the local library and doesn't just hang out there so she can get her hands on the latest copies of romantic novels or anything. And in Trez's defense - it wasn't his fault the conjurer didn't have enough willpower to control him.  Plus that party probably didn't even have cake, so it was a total waste anyway. ?

I'm totally with you there on the Argonian representation. He's really quite a brilliant researcher but he just doesn't get enough recognition. Lizards are people too! Well...err...lizard-people...anyway, you get the idea. ?

Haha, believe me, I know. Sometimes I wish I made more! Oh wait, I have ;) Here's something special for you. It's 7 sitting poses in one, part of a new type of pose I call: "Pose Arrays". I found it very useful, maybe you will too! I'm assuming you know how to use this pose with FNISSpells or Public Poser, but if not, feel free to ask if you end up wanting to try it out :)

As we saw a little bit about Trez's life in Oblivion, he's a high-ranking officer and in general has much better control of his emotions.  Plus he's pragmatic. Since he cannot break Bunny's binding he settles for simply getting the job done as quickly as possible. Of course he's still really unhappy about it ?

Jokes aside®, your usual graphical style still applied here, with very colored and expressive shots. The fan-service touch is more and more assumed, which Menalia's scenes, clothing and viewpoints all along. Her visual aspect, with her angular browns , make-up and partially closed eyes reeks of scheming, which is a great design for an antagonist. Nice effect with her undressing btw, the similar position of her dress on two shots seemingly suggesting that you prepared a semi-undressed ingame version. Also liked the atypical characters, with now not only an owl and a dremora, but also an argonian The writing style in itself is good, with nice touches of humor, though some can get to be predictable sometimes. Still, the intrigue does develops, and even if we can sometimes guess where this is going, the pleasant execution makes the whole read quite entertaining. Nice entry !

Menalia is certainly a rather unique character.  Without going too much into spoiler territory, she's meant to be both scheming and seductive, ruthless and intelligent and at the same time - human. I'm glad that readers are intrigued by her behavior.

You're correct about her dress. There actually are two versions of it (courtesy of @SpyVsPie ) which definitely helps with the more adult-oriented scenes.

I'm a bit confused about the mention of the daedra. Are you referring to the Slavemaster from the Deadlands?

As for guessing of what's going on - not everything is necessarily the way it seems. ?

Considering the fact that you were one of the authors that inspired me to keep trying to improve my stories (both visually and thematically) I am happy if I am succeeding in it just a little bit ?

And thank you for mentioning item positioning.  I don't even want to think on the ridiculous amount of things I jaxxon into many of my screenshots but I'm glad that they help setup the overall scenery.  ?

Bunny is an adorable little nerd, isn't she?  I rather like her as well.

There's definitely a "spark" ( I love that pun) between her and Trez though it's mostly based on the fact that Trez would gladly set her on fire if he could ?.

The next chapter covers their traveling adventures so we'll get to find out a bit more on how their working relationship develops .

Also, near the end of Spoiler#3 where he was getting a summoning call, but before I saw the magic rune circle - I dont know what it is, prob combination of your dialogue writing style, along with the angle and pose he was in, I thought he was gonna pull out a Skyrim era pager/beeper

I love your suggestion for the daedric/dwemer beeper! ? I took a look at the screenshot and it really did seem like Trez would pull it out and start checking his messages.  I might need to steal this idea for future chapters ?

I'm glad you enjoyed the writing.  As much as I like creating pretty screenshots, dialogues are still my favorite part of making a story. ?
