I think I've, finally, settled on a configuration for Devious Followers-centered Skyrim that works pretty much as I want it to (as I laid out previously). The relevant settings being:
Trade and Barter: fBarterMax 8.00, fBarterMin 2.00
Scarcity: 2x loot rarity .esp
SexLab Survival: 50g toll, non level-based
Devious Followers Continued: 500/50 base/level-based debt, 50% interest, 1000/1000 deal agreement/removal
Perseids Inns and Taverns: 50% of default rental

The Raider Reform School is in may ways a pregnancy mod. The play is encouraged to keep a lot of slaves, and to keep them pregnant. The trouble is, that turns into babies, and thence to children, and that can overload the game engine very quickly.

It's all a bit style over function, really. The heavy laser turrets are no better than heavy machineguns, but they draw power all the same. The searchlights are unnecessary however you look at it ... except they make the place look that bit cooler. The semicircular awnings are there just so I had somewhere to mount the lighting for the girls on the top tier.
