Hows a whore supposed to make enough coin to get into the inn to ply her trade? Also theres an economic problem: whore licence + cost of an inn bed will probably be much greater than the toll cost to just leave.
Quest_Items Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Hello everyone, Thank you very much for that very fun mod! I am having an issue with the "fondle" feature on creatures. It seems to works fine on horses or trolls but dont work at all on dogs and wolves. For the dogs, the fondle window appear but nothing happen when i click on it, expect the dog saying "..." And for the wolves, i cant even activate them. I tried on my old and on a new save, the issue is there on both. Is it possible to fix that ? Thank you in advance

I had a quick question: I dont supposed you could be convinced to make a optional file that makes the license dialogue (and the actual readable license's) feel more like the toll reasoning? Like right now the justification for the license is theres a war going on and the jarls dont want the wrong people, male or female, bringing weapons/armor into the city right? I was hoping it would read more like the toll system, the jarls having it apply only to women because "they'd be more likely to cause problems" or whatever other ridiculous reason. Totally understand if its to much of a hassle or you just dont want to, just thought id ask ?

Idynian Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 I've got an issue with sex scenes containing custom races like Ceraph or certain obscure creatures (ie Netch/lurker). Even though I don't have any needs food system, it keeps asking for the size of the race over and over again(with SLSO). It doesn't seem to remember what size you input for the race.

Or did I imagine it? It's easy to imagine variants for other cities; you don't really need it in open towns. Such as: Markarth: drug den in the Warrens. You might have to buy and consume some skooma. Riften: a cubbyhole just inside the Ratway. Scum will let you share their flea-ridden hole for a price. Expect to be robbed. Solitude: a cell in the temple of the divines. I always suspected those religious types were up to no good. Windhelm: a warehouse at the docks. Be careful you aren't the goods being shipped. And of course, make sure no easy beds in these towns. I can see a case for optionally allowing the Thieves Guild as a sort-of safe place - as some people use other restrictions on joining the TG, and if they've become a member they've more than earned access - easier to buy a house. There has to be some chance of getting robbed there though, but only stuff not worn.

Also super-nice if different license-rules per hold. With the excuse about a war going on... After the civil war, just change excuse to Thalmor spies.

Mmm, probably not sorry. I mean everyone is going to have their own take on it and I can't rightly do patches for everyone. You think governments remove 'emergency measures' just because an emergency is over? Plenty of examples the world over of this not happening. Hell, my own country has an example of this in the last 10 years. Licences make too much money and I think they'd make up some excuse to keep them. Ok I'll look into it. I know for a fact that it's missing a check for if the character is female. As i said, it works with other creatures, so the creature feature is activated in the mcm. But i cant activate the wolves (even on newest version 431) and for the dogs the "fondle" window appear but if i click on it the dog will just say "..." and nothing happen.

The wolf thing is a bug. It won't be fixed until I post an update. But dogs should definitely work. Do you get this dialogue choice with dogs? : "Hey boy. Want to make me your bitch?" If not then I *think* something is changing the 'voice type' on your dogs. I'm not sure how proficient with TesEdit you are but to check: Get the BaseId of the dog in game by opening the console and click on the dog. Various information will pop up and BaseId should be one of them. Take a screenshot or write it down. Load your complete load order in TesEdit and punch in the ID into the FormId search box and hit return. This should bring your straight to the dog form. Look for the entry VTCK - Voice It should read CrDogVoice [VTYP:0001F180] If not then that's why.

Anyways the bug is that SLSurvival no longer appears in my MCM but also Sexlab. They're both active and working just the MCMs are missing. Tried "setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1" which doesnt work. After some more careful looking through my MCM I appears that SLS was now called "Devious Devices - Expansion.esm" in my mcm WTF (indeed) A clean save fix it but just incase anyone else gets a similar issue. BTW whats with the WTF msg popups?

Write once, use anywhere Rather than making the dialog actually unique per hold, share the dialogue between holds, but make the state information that drives it unique. If you want to do something like making NPCs have "state per hold", the easiest way is with a global variable. Set the code to refresh the global state on the before script for the dialog. You can then handle in the script with GlobalVariable Property tollDialogState auto, etc ... int holdIndex = GetLocalHoldIndex() tollDialogState.SetValue(holdTollStates[holdIndex] weaponLicenseState.SetValue(holdWeaponLicenseStates[holdIndex] ... and so on ... Where tollDialogState has meanings like: 0 - never seen player before 1 - seen player enter 2 - toll due 3 - toll evaded 4 - toll evasion punished 5 - toll paid 6 - toll paid in kind 7 - is thane exempt And then you check equality against GetGlobalValue in the dialog. Of if you've made tolls their own quest, you can set the toll quest stage instead of a global, and use that. But I think Monoman knows this and is just playing hard to convince.

There's a long history of dialog on creatures being unreliable, hence annoying pop-up message boxes in SD+.

So if i stand up and talk to dog, dialogue window open with "hey boy" but if i click that nothing happen And if i crouch, pop up window appear with two choices, "fondle" and "activate" and both do nothing expect the dog saying "..." I used TESedit to check the voice as you said, and it shows the exact same voice than yours "CrDogVoice [VTYP:0001F180]"

I started getting continuous bounties of 100 gold with everyone around me going "stop thief!" when I'm just standing there. I would pay off the bounty only to immediately trigger another 100 gold, and if I run away it will accumulate more bounties every few seconds. I can't for the life of me figure out what it is that's causing this bounty to trigger.. I don't have any sex crime mods enabled, but I do have Sexlab Adventures installed.

I don't see a problem like this, and I'm unsure whether SLS produces "thief" dialog, and if it does, what is intended to trigger it. Personally, I haven't seen it so it's new to me. SLAdv certainly has the potential to spin up bounties like crazy, but I don't believe it calls you a thief; you just get the bounty.

My survival mcm is working fine. And the sexlab mcm did show up originally with it because I set all the settings. It's only later it disappeared. Can you recreate the issue with a new game? Sorry but this is not ringing any bells at all. SLS does add bounties. From what I can remember those are: 1. For avoiding the toll but that bounty is added through active dialogue with a guard and it's default is 5 times the toll cost (so 500 gold by default not 100). 2. For taking the eviction note should you get caught doing it. But you'd have to get evicted first for that to even happen and it also wouldn't be 100 gold. 'Stop, thief' dialogue is another unknown. I'm pretty sure it's not something SLS adds. I'm not very familiar with SL Adventures but doesn't it add bounties for having cum on your body or being naked? Perhaps the armor you're wearing isn't tagged correctly with the right keywords - ClothingBody/ArmorCuirass. Maybe create a save when it starts happening and examine that save in a save cleaner. Check under 'active scripts'. The only other extreme possibility is that you are supposed to be naked in town (from some other mod)? And you have 'Half naked cover' enabled in survival and actually have something in the bra and panty slots which would equip an invisible 'body' armor which is making you considered as not naked which is giving you a bounty for not being naked. But that's a *really* long shot.

Is the devious devices toggle enabled? If not try installing the mod manually. Check out the installation section on the main page. And just to be safe, restart the interface by clicking on it in the mcm.
