I did do a merged patch but I wasn't particularly meticulous about it... I though it wouldn't affect these, since it is done via a script?

Also since I entered Windhelm at lvl 1; am I permastuck? I don't think there is any free followers there. It was a test run so I don't mind starting over, but...

Is there any way to exit Windhelm without a follower? I couldn't find a skyrim underground entrance either... could be load order issues again?

I run it before i first loaded the cell with the merchant so I do not think that matters. I'm not 100% confident though. Do I still have to wait?

Set followers required to 0. 

Disable toll door lockdown and just leave.

Which option have you set that you believe should leave follower items alone? What npc is confiscating items.

I'll take a look and see if that helps.

Load complete load order and check the container records in SLS. The entries from SLS need to make it to the right most column to have any effect. A merged patch should help fix any contention here.

Don't know if you've had a chance to look at the problem yet, but I thought I'd say that I am still having the problem where 'SLS_nakedcover' (or whatever its called) is being stripped off my character when the follower is upset with her. Sorry for mentioning it again if you just haven't gotten around to it, I haven't been reading the changelogs!

The option is Licence Type = Player Centric, or something like that.

It was the toll guard that took his items.

I guess that's subjective. Personally I don't think it's cheating in this instance. The mod is simply ignorant to the fact that there are no possible followers in Windhelm. It's not your fault. It's ok to cheat here IMO. 

 

If you're dead set and IF you have your escort list set up and leave via one of the methods above but then get caught outside of town without an escort you should get escorted back to town and force assigned a follower from the escort list. Doesn't matter if they're in some far corner of skyrim. That should balance it out. Up to you to decide what's reasonable. 

 

Or just install a follower mod for windhelm.

Player centric means that followers get to keep the items they have equipped only. All the rest of their stuff is considered to be your stuff that they're carrying for you since there's no good way to determine what's yours or theirs. Party wide means all of their stuff is subject to licences equipped or not. 

 

Uncheck 'Check followers' if you don't want them to be checked at all.

If you are on SE, you could install my mod Stormcloak Noblewomen Followers which adds 5 free female followers to the palace in Windhelm.

I don't remember this problem. You say your follower is upset with you but I'm not sure why. What's the dialogue exactly? Also if you're not running the beta I'd wait until you use that before investigating any issue here.

I'm just gonna start a new game and go to Whiterun as I'm supposed to. I was still lvl 1, so...

No you can set the number of followers needed to 0 in the MCM at anytime if you need to correct a mistake.

No worries. I mentioned it a while ago with a slightly older version of the mod (on page 407). I started playing again some days ago with the new beta version and noticed that it still happened.

I'm afraid I can't recall the dialogue, but I'll write it down next time I see it.

When I had first mentioned it, it was the dialogue you get when you skip town which triggered SLS_nakedover getting stripped, though the last three times it's happened I am not actually sure what I did to annoy the follower.

I am using the 662 beta, however, when  i checked the equip slot for the tongue, it was slot 55 for some reason. I was upgrading from v .635 before so I am not sure what I did wrong. I did not even replace anything as of yet. Also another weird thing is that when selecting tongue from the all in one menu, i can only select 14 15 16 and nothing else.

I also wonder... can a safely generate it again mid playthrough now? I didn't wanna make it OP and, I think, I ended up doing a little too few drops.

I've often remade the patch midgame.

But you don't need to do that to change the drops. Drop rates are changed in the Mcm.

Anyone have an empty nif handy I can use to get rid of buggy placed tongues in an older version of SLS?

 

I'll upgrade eventually, but don't want to update SLS until I start a new game.

Nvm got it to work myself, something was wrong with old empty nif I use, made new ones and good to go.

I really need to update to the new beta, but I am avoiding recompiling all the scripts as long as I can and waiting for new features that I find irresistible, lol

I have had that happen if I had a spell equipped, and then I brawled with an NPC. The game automatically unequips the spell, but later after the brawl is done, the guards mistakenly think I have a weapon equipped.

 

To fix the problem, I equipped a spell in each hand and then unequipped them.

Another problem.

 

The Enforcer in Riverwood attacks me on sight for no reason.

 

Edit: The entire Riverwood is hostile actually. Even the civilians! WTF?

I see, lol. I calmed them down with the console. It was tideous.

 

 

But I have 2 more questions actually:

 

1.) When I use the stick tongue out option, it comes out of her chin, rather than a mouth. How do I adjust the height of the tongue?

 

2.) When I select Change Position -> Crawl from the radial menu, nothing happens. Looks like I'm missing an animation. Where can I get it?

There's a 'high' option in the installer. Someone also made a higher still position tongues pack here... somewhere in the last few pages. Must find that before it gets buried entirely.

I don't know if it's because of a mod adding something weird or a frstfall/campfire thing, your support is pretty much the only reason i use them and i never did before... but searching ground regularly finds a "Cell monitor". Has anybody else seen this and is there something i could do about it?^^
