I assume it's probably a bug related to the daydreaming problem that I had on the same save before you released the fix. Didn't try a new game lately so it could be a possibility.

I dont use enhanced camera or apropos, so Id guess its none of them. I havent found a fix yet either, except playing bow in third person if necessary.

Since the last version of SLS I tested was months ago, I have a question.

Does the mod include some kind of level system or faction dependent reputation of the character?

I mean, it's a lot to be considered a weak woman at the beginning of a new game. And that the guards won't let a weak woman leave town without escort and taxes.

But what about when I'm the Mighty Dragonborn, or leader of a faction like the Champions or Archmage?

I think for such cases there should be options in the gatekeeper dialog, such as "Do you know who you're dealing with? I am the Archmage of the Winterhold Academy. Step aside or I'll turn you into a mouse."

or

"How dare you I am the Tane of this town..."

and similar dialogues for other frakions.

You should be able to convince the guards somehow that they are no longer a weak woman. And you should also be able to punish them if they are disrespectful to the player.

 

If something like this already exists in the mod, or is planned for the future, just ignore my post. Then a short, yes is already in it or it is planned as an answer.

Sorry but I don't have a whole lot of interest in this. The amount of work this would involve and the complications (headaches) it would bring just isn't worth what it would bring to the table IMO. And I haven't even finished the 'weak girl' side of the mod. It would be nice to have. Maybe some day but I wouldn't hold your breath. 

 

One option would simply be to turn off tolls or whatever, whenever you feel you've reached this point. I'd argue that going from 'treated like dirt' to being ignored would be odd. But then going from being 'treated like dirt' to being the most powerful thing in the universe is probably even more odd really. 

 

I still prefer @Lupine00's glass ceiling idea - where men take the credit for the things you do. I believes she's just putting the finishing touches on it right now :D

(I'm kidding. It'll probably never see the light of day)

It was a total joke. I never even claimed I was thinking of making it.

ToH Real and False Heroes sort of does it anyway now, and there it's also intended as a joke.

 

I did originally wonder if it could be done as lazily as just putting a stooge there, who the NPC could appear to be talking to instead of you, but the important part is making sure you get no quest rewards, and that would lead to lots of conflicts. Given that, why not go all-in on conflicts and make a mod where part of the joke is that it conflicts with almost everything on purpose?

It's purple for me. Trying to add the old knife texture but it's obviously wrong - the texture is all over the place. Or maybe it is right given how poor vanilla textures are.... Hard to tell....

oh jeez my fault no its not the same, here is the mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5493   meshes and textures I was using x_x i completely forgot. I can make another version with the normal mesh instead hold on. 

 

Edit: yea my bad I went ahead and uploaded the original meshes and fixed it.

The 2 are awaiting a purpose. For now they're mostly for role-play. 

Teasing does raise your arousal though.

New devices menu. Allows you to unlock devices on Npcs who's inventory you can't normally access. Can also unlock yourself or followers but honestly you're better off using the inventory for that. It's fairly slow to gather all the info it needs. But handily it'll also tell you what key a device expects without having to dig through all the properties in TesEdit.....

Obviously you need the key but you get a shiny new device for yourself. 

Don't know why I added this but hey, might be a handy thing to have some day.

Amazing i love this new menu you've added!! Also love the device menu the dialogue I had to remove devices didn't work for removing chastity cages from guys so it was almost imposible to get them out of it.

It seems nice, but in the way that EFF's incredibly useful extra follower inventory is nice.

 

We can see that:

  • DD offers a built-in interface for device interaction, via message-boxes that appear while using the inventory.
  • It has never offered a simple or consistent way to manage whether devices in an NPCs inventory are worn or not, and I believe that's because different mods are intended to decide whether an NPC will permit you to bind or unbind them.

 

This menu means that SLS is making this decision universally for unbind, and by not putting it in an MCM "Debug" menu, it's in a grey area whether its interactions are "in character" or not - but the consumption of keys will suggest to most users that it is "in character".

 

This possibly has the potential to confuse some older mods.

It would be nice if DD itself raised a mod event that indicated who was being bound or released (and from what, and by what means), so there was an easy and universal way to detect device operations from outside.

I'm not aware of such events, but given the nature of device scripts, it seems impractical to expect such events to ever be added to devices in old mods.

You can handle equip events and add/remove events, but those handlers are specific to an actor, or an object, and so problematic (and bugged anyway).

 

There are mods that dabble in this area for the player, but not for NPCs, so this is conceptually new (as well as new to SLS).

 

Something like this should have been part of the core DD framework, with maybe some basic faction control to determine what NPCs you are allowed to tamper with. Of course it isn't, and no signs it ever will be.

Upgraded to latest version on existing save game. Really like the daydreaming function. First upgrade it was triggering for every conversation. Now it doesn't trigger at all. Went from satisfied to peckish to satisfied. How can daydreaming be initiated again? Maybe an option can be added to wheel?

It's just bothersome this has to be addressed in SLS at all.

Try going from satisfied to hungry. Daydreaming fires from hungry and worse.

Got into a couple of DEC brawls today just to check things out. First off

 

Losing DEC brawls seems to work ok. Npcs don't bug out. Winning brawls is where the bugs start for me. 

So lose the fight :P

 

But I could not reproduce any guard approaches after the fight ended without waiting a while a putting up my fists again. 

Might have been some script lag issue.

After sleep, jumped to ravenous. Daydreaming definitely worked. Noticed two things... male characters having missing wrists. Noticed same issue on first release as well. Talking with female characters worked as well except for my custom female follower. It did work on first release. Tried look at and stop looking at. Other custom female potential followers worked.

Both... Nothing seems to be working on female follower.

 

For future, will you consider making more values configurable? Specifically the thresholds for peckish, hungry, etc... Also, just like the auto suck @ ____ drop down where you can select trigger, the same for (no) bathing and daydreaming.
