Sleethe Posted June 1, 2024 Posted June 1, 2024 (edited) Alright so lately ive been running into this problem, After equipping a device for example a gag, and later wanting to unlock it and remove it with a key, it just stays on, in the inv its removed then i close the inventory and its just still there, and if i open the inventory its equipped again. Does that sound logically? Then if i want to try and unequip it again i have to use another key to run into the same problem. Yeah thats about it. edit: Dont mind the account name. Do not install old patches, they will break DD. Do not install separate versions of DDa, DDi, or DDx, these mods are already included. The separate versions are old unconverted LE mods that will not work with SE. You can also check the troubleshooting post for other known conflicting mods. 1

yodelie Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Hi, I'm experiencing a problem with devious devices items and some similar wearables from other mods. Here is a screenshot while trying to wear a catsuit from another mod, however when I attempt to wear stuff from devious devices I get the same thing. As can be seen in the two screenshots inside of that sewer. The third image may even look normal, but that's supposed to be a harness, only the collar shows up. Know I KNOW what you are all saying. "YOU DIDN'T RUN BODYSLIDE", however, the problem is, I did, quite a few times. I'm using CBBE, no overly special presets, just the ones that came preinstalled. Now I do know, that this is how it mostly looks like when you haven't run your bodyslide from back in my LL noob days. Which is probably why I'm even more perplex that this is happening. If anyone could help me out. I'd greatly appreciate it.

If anyone could help me out. I'd greatly appreciate it. You didn't run it correctly then. Check the settings path in bodyslide and build just one outfit you are having a problem with. Look at the path it's going to. Is it the correct data path for your install? There is ONLY ONE reason this happens, the mesh is not where it's supposed to be. It doesn't exist until you run bodyslide, so either you didn't run it or you did it wrong. There is NOTHING else that would cause this. There's a short how to in the troubleshooting post for bodyslide. It steps through how to check the paths and verify output. Follow it. 2

What's your game version? if you're on 1.6.1130 or 1.6.1170, you need to use DD NG or one of the old NG DLLs on the troubleshooting post, and update consoleutils to the latest ng version. if you're still crashing after verifying that, post a crash log here if you ARE NOT on DD NG, or post it on the DD NG thread if you ARE using DD NG.

You don't manually register DD animations with Sexlab. DD interrupts and takes over if you're wearing a device. I don't think there are any sex animations for the petsuit, so it might just be removed depending on your animation settings.

There is pet suit sex animations, seen them not to long ago, just all of a sudden DD stopped swapping those animations in. I can see it trying to swap them in but DD can't find pet suit animations all of a sudden.

Snaloe Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 Getting a strange problem, Device Hider is not working at all, I have tried the dll remover patch and NG version and its the same, everything is up to date. Wondering if there are any known issues that can cause this.

First thing when you get back in game, change the SLOT that Device Hider uses, Yes it occupies a slot. Chances are that it is occupied, Example, First thing I noticed was it was using a Long Hair slot, which froze my SMP hair. So I changed it too another number like 60 or 61, then the hair smp started working. You may have other mods that require you to have a free slot, all I know for certain is that DDI uses Long Hair slot, SOS uses slot 52.
Gameplayer Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 In my game, Some of the items have the wrong textures. Example, Red Ebonite Pony Boots, are black ebonite. White Ebonite Pony Boots, are black. All Harness Collars are black. Seen a lot of items, not all of them but a lot. Wondering if someone has a patch or knows of a patch? So far I have checked the ArmorScriptInstances, the ArmorAA's, and now diving into TextureSets I found at least one Alternate Texture where one letter was inappropriate case, although I am not sure if its case sensitive but some programs are so I changed the letter to lower case to match the nif naming. HAve not looked into the Texture folder to check if the colors are correct or not, might have to check the nif pathing as well. Thing is its a lot of work doing that an I have no idea if someone already corrected this or not. Also I did go ahead an load all my mods in TesVedit just to check to see if there were overrides in ESP's coming after Expansion. Might have to check file folders for Overrides in MO, just have not gotten that far yet with chasing down the issue.
