DD itself is a framework, it does nothing on its own. If you want to 'use' this mod, then install another mod like Deviously Cursed Loot, or Laura's Bondage Shop that will integrate the devices into quests.

Running 1.6.1130. Using the two highest versions (the one for GOG, and the one for AE), makes the SKES disable the DLL for this mod. Should I be concerned the DLL is not loading? If so, what did I miss?

Doesn't matter what you pick in the fomod. Install one of the NG DLLs over it. Although, as a general note, DLLs are not compatible between Steam and GOG unless the mod page or selection description in the installer explicitly states that it is. Since you're on 1130, you'll want to pick default or Steam DLLs exclusively, GOG DLLs will not work for you.

It's supposed to be. That's how it works. If you want that particular slot, you can change the slot in the MCM. Doing so will just block another slot though. You can also disable it in the MCM, but that means that things that should be hidden when wearing something else will show through.

It shows as a blue soulgem, and that bothers me that she always has something stuck that I can't remove
And I think I also disabled it in the MCM

Hey there, there is this kinda weird problem that Im having and I just don´t no what the cause could be anymore, or where to look. So everything works just fine with one exception: As soon as I press "w" ,so normal walking/running, every animation/pose whatever is happening right now stops and my char just starts walking with some gear floating behind them(at least the arms, everything else stay actually in place). And it´s only when I press "w" on its own. Walking sideways works just fine. Which is why I´m a bit confused, did I miss anything while setting up? Is there a setting I missed? Because all of the files and everything looks alright and that is really the only problem I have. All the other solutions people with similar tried don´t seem to work, all the sliders and slots seem fine, unless I messed up somewhere else big time without noticing.

Anyway I´d appreciate some advice on what to do.

 

Edit: Nevermind, I am stupid. I still had a mod that modifies movment and while removing and overwriting evrything from that one there was still the forward walk animation remaning, because never trust your system to fuction like it should... man do I feel dumb right now

Device hidder item is without name and because it's invisible in inventory. If you see it, then some of mod damages it or this item not from DD (just name similar to it)

it's from DD I'm sure of it, because I stripped my character naked and did a showinventory console command on her, and the only worn thing had a formID of 13040F0C, 13 being the index of Devious Devices - Integration.esp

Device Hider doesn't show up in inventory as elsidia says. If you load your entire list in xedit, is anything overwriting it?
It shows up as a worn item in the console, yes. But it doesn't have an inventory object for you to see on you or in your inventory.  It's like the rendered devices without a mesh to actually show up.

I have exactly the same problem.

My character is naked. But player.showinventory says, the xx040f0c is worn.

I tried to unequipitem and removeitem. This "thing" removed. Then returned when I closed the console, and opened it again.

When I trying equip something (like boots or gloves), I receive a message: "You can't equip this with your hands tied!"

I don't use the "Simple wear and tear" mod mentioned above.

Have you disabled it in the MCM ? It's in the "Device Underneath 1" tab.

Yes, every options in "Device Underneath (1) and (2) are "None (disabled)"

Hey there, im having an issue where im crashing on loading/new game. I checked my papyrus0 log but im not sure what to do with the information. Papyrus.0.log

Not the individual options. The device hider itself at the top of the mcm on the first device hider page

Need a crash log, not a papyrus log. papyrus is useless for troubleshooting crashes.

 

Make sure you're using the latest version of consoleutils ng. replace consoleutils if you're using the original one.

oh really? ok mb i havent modded in a while, i just remembered these were useful. Anyway yay the game launches now with consoleutil ng, though everyone is tposing.. i've narrowed it down to DD as the cause but no luck troubleshooting it so far

Edit: After reading through old posts, im assuming I have unconverted animations but the most recent post I can dig up is still 5 years old so I doubt it'll be much help anymore

All you need is DD SE and if you want to take advantage of OAR and other SE improvements, DD NG. If you have the old separate DD mods (assets, integration and expansion), they're obsolete and should be removed. They're also LE only, and having them overwrite DD SE will break DD as well as cause the tpose.

When you run FNIS, check the output for errors. DD SE doesn't have any unconverted animations, so if FNIS says DD is not SE compatible, you've got something overwriting DD that shouldn't be installed.
