@zarantha Do you remember when you made that patch to fix priorities with the straitjackets and catsuits so the boots would not be cut off at the calves?

 

Well could this be a possible side effect of that patch, or is something just wrong on my end?

That's the transparent restrictive boots and gloves if you can't tell by the screenshot. Poor lighting conditions, took it at night in game.

This is definitely not recommended, but I wanted to give this a shot so I was wondering if anyone can actually help me.


I've been looking for bondage games to play and a mate of mine recommended that I get and mod skyrim with devious bondage mods (I assumed they meant devious devices since it seems the most popular and best of quality.) But I've never played Skyrim let alone mod it, and I seriously wanna try playing my first playthrough of skyrim with these bondage mods, especially since the game's kinda spoiled for me normally through many clips I've seen. Can someone give me a rundown, a step by step process on EVERYTHING I need to do? Including resources?
 

If you can't, can I please just get pointed in the right direction?

I'm pretty sure I have already downloaded everything, I have Mod Organizer 2 installed and that's it.

  • There's a STEP guide on MO2 that covers how to use it.
  • I can see you have files for 1.5.97 - you want to make sure you downloaded the correct files for your game, otherwise it won't work. "AE" in mod descriptions doesn't refer to the "Anniversary Upgrade" DLC pack that Bethesda put out, but instead to any versions that came out after the 10-year anniversary.
  • You don't have Sexlab SE or SkyUI SE, both of which you will need (DD's description points to the wrong file for Sexlab).
  • CBBE and UNP are two different body mods. You will have to decide which one you want to use.
  • The DD framework on its own doesn't add any content. It defines a bunch of generic devices and provides the functionality for them to work, but there's nothing that uses them. The Devious Skyrim thread lists a bunch of mods that use it, although you will want to check for SE versions of the mods it links to. Sometimes they're on the same page, sometimes they're on separate pages.
  • There's a known issue with DD 5.1 where ankle chains have a missing texture. It's in the troubleshooting post (linked on the first reply to this thread), in the first spoiler under "If you are using DD SE 5.0/5.1 and DCL 9.0". You might also need to get DLL update from the "Playing the DD Beta prior to official release" spoiler, as DD 5.1 only ships with the DLL for 1.5.97. Alternately, you can just get the DD 5.2 beta, which handles both of those issues.

Hi all! I've been having an issue of animations not working and hands disappearing with armbinders due to the lack of animations. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling DD and rerunning fnis, I've tried searching for any mods that may be causing it but have turned up short so far, currently I've heard of a method where one deletes the DD fnis animations and uninstalling fnis then reinstalling fnis and I'm looking to try that but am not sure how so any help would be appreciated.

Always place those archives in \MO2\Downloads\ . Then when inside MO2 just doubleclick them to start installers.

My guesses are

 

You may need to rebuild your body based on those leg seems. Make sure you choose the correct hands and feet when building the body.

 

Make sure that anything built on bodyslide is put into a new mod that overwrites the original body mod and outfits. Nothing should overwrite this created mod.

 

When using FNis make sure you have the appropriate boxes check (skeletal arm fix, etc.)

 

Watch FNIS as it does it work. If you see any warnings scrap those files. In windows, real-time protection may need to be turned off before running FNIS since it doesn't like it. It will automatically turn itself back on after awhile. You'll have to turn it back off each time you use FNIS.

 

You may know all this, but a reminder can't hurt.

So I just uninstalled FNIS throu NMM and reinstalled it and ran it and the only warning that looks like it could be related to me is this message that popped up (I'm not sure if it is related or not, it was just the only mod related warning that popped up during the reading process so I wanted to bring it to your attention to get your opinion)

That animation seems to be part of a submissive lola addon. "Submissive Lola - an Extension" I would look to see if anything is conflicting with that mod. If not, then maybe a reinstall and try FNIS again.

 

As for your DD issue I may not be of much help being an MO2 user. I will say that your number of animations are a bit concerning. You should try removing one of the packs like Billy's and see if there is a difference. I see that you have XXL FNIS, but you seem to be pretty close to it's reccomended limit. Just as a test to see if anything changes.

I just wanted to say happy holidays and a happy new year to everyone and especially to Kimy. Devious Devices is the foundation of so many great adult skyrim mods and all the work and effort that's gone into it over the years to update and maintain it is very much appreciated!

Not sure how to fix this, but the soulgem nipple piercings, alongside most other piercings dangle over the nipples a little bit. They also clip a lot with the 3BBB physics, and seem to lag whenever the nipple moves. Im sure this issue has been covered before, but 365 pages is a lot to look through so any help would be appreciated.

Just wanted to share something I managed to figure out. I was running into the same problem as ClockworkTower and Dianite where the armbinder animations were causing hands to disappear and the arms were not aligning, and after some trial and error I found the source (At least for me, not sure if this is the case for everyone). It was a setting in the DD patch from unforgiving devices, Selecting the DAR patch is what broke the animations and after unselecting it, saving and reloading the save the armbinders are working again.

Hello, please someone help, my movement animation is broken in combat mode, hands without fists are in front of the character, and are not in the restrain. I've uninstalled most mods, reinstalled DD, reloaded animations many times, made new saves and nothing helps. Anyone can help?

You using DAR?
DAR is... close to incompatibility with DD.

There is some script here, but I didn't check if it's working on SE.

Yes, I used it, but now I turned it off like most mods and dd all the same has an error.Is there anything else that might help?

I use DAR and DD, works fine for me. Although I'd have to double check but I don't think I use DAR for idles or walking animations, I seem to recall those will conflict with DD (at least without the patch) although I could be wrong

I tried searching in this thread for a fix but to no avail (and I suck at searching so); 

I have done all the steps, install, FNIS, bodyslide and save and load, however, whenever I am moving forward (walk or run or sprint)  it does the arm binder back animation for the arms without even ever having any DD tools received. It goes the same for other female NPS as well but other DD tools animation forward movement such as yoke or etc.

I tried reinstalling however to no avail. Any other suggestions I can try?

I have got a problem with any type of binders. I am using CBBE body and when I have binder on, tiddies and ass get deflated. I think it's the animations that is causing this but do you know what it really is and how can I fix it?
