Just for info - those keyword is used to get device conflicts, so if you wear this catsuit, you can't wear a bra and belt, what is necessary put on for Cursed loot quest.

I made a small patch for mods like hybrid khajiit/argonian replacers to fix some previously invisible headgear like gasmasks and hoods in case anyone needs it. Otherwise it's just for me for future reference.
It's made for DD 5.2 Beta 7 I believe. Don't know if it works with other versions.

No luck. This specifically happening with Sofia and other characters added to the vanilla game, i havent seen this effect vanilla npcs yet. But i havent played much recently as im trying to fix this.

That's a fair point. I'm not sure how concerned I should be about the inability of having chastity gear get equipped to you. For instance, how is Jack meant to lock a belt on you if you're already locked into a catsuit. For the cursed loot quest specifically, that could pose a problem if the cursed belt and bra just don't get equipped.

 

From a bit of playtesting, I was able to equip a catsuit on top of the belt and bra, albeit no belt or bra will be equipped on your character while wearing the catsuit under any circumstance. There may be some other issues I don't know about, which is why I only did it for the black catsuit as I playtest this concept further.

Has anyone run into the following issue/know how to fix it. When my player gets defeated (via combat surrender). Everything goes great except the "Fist unequipped" notification keeps coming up and the sound of something being unequipped happens rapidly. In my instance the player was defeated in Embershard and was fully equiped with including armbinder and then sent off to "A bondage Adventure". However, the "Fist Unequipped" notification kept showing up and the sound of something being unequipped was continuously sounding off....Any help pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated :)

No idea. It must be mistaking your fists for an equipable weapon and it's constantly trying to remove it, but can't because it's not equipment.

 

Sounds like something went critically wrong. Are you by chance running the BETA build? Could be a bad install, could be conflicting scripts, could be an unstable save file, if your save is very old and constantly gets mods added, they can get corrupted. Whatever the case, it may help to reinstall the mod and run a minimalist load order with a new save, then see if the problem persists. It could also help to post your query to the Cursed Loot thread.

Looks like there's no need to worry about the cursed collar questline. The only thing that gets equipped automatically is the collar. Everything else will be equipped manually. Since it's not trying to force equip anything, I doubt this quest will break if you're wearing chastity items. All that will happen is you can't equip the plugs or the belt if you're wearing a catsuit with the chastity belt and bra keywords. You just need to get rid of the suit before you can proceed.

PLEASE STOP PUTTING DOWNLOAD ON MEGA. IT KEPT FAILING AND NOW IT WANTS ME TO PAY FOR DOWNLOAD THAT DOESN'T WORK.

 

please have non mega download because mega is shit, was messing up and then asks for money for shit that doesnt work. And i'm not waiting 5 fucking hours for possibility for another fucked download.

MAYBE YOU  COULD LOOK AT THE TROUBLESHOOTING POST WITH THE ALTERNATE DOWNLOAD I MADE JUST FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO CAN'T FIGURE OUT MEGA.

It does not require payment. You could just wait or use a damn VPN if you're that impatient. Or even use the desktop client to manage the download. The problem is your network, not mega.

It is not supported. Some people get it working, but most people end up with some of the animations getting messed up.

 

I'd recommend you wait until the beta includes a DAR version of the alternate animations before using Nemesis. Or if you don't care if some of the animations like armbinder or yokes don't work, go ahead.

It technically works for me for the most part, but if I'm wearing hand restraints and I'm moving around in combat mode, the default animations play. That's just me though, as Nemesis seems to work differently with this mod for different people. I use it anyways because there are a number of awesome new animation mods that require Nemesis, one of them being Skyrim Paraglider.

 I am dumb or something my MO is reporting this mod as plugin 43 and then when I try to save it in the CK it won't let me like it will for other plugins do I just save it in this different mode?

I don't know how you have the patience to deal with people and all their problems related to this pretty much every day. There comes a point where I would go off on someone like that, or just ignore them.

Plugin 43 not a issue. Mod works fine with that.  In CK first you need load mod before save and then save. To load a mod first you need reconfigure CK as in default it don't allow mod with multiple masters.

If not being able to save it is an issue with multiple masters, there's a fix for that on the nexus.

As far as it being form 43, as stated it's not an issue. If you do manage to save it in CK though it will update to form 44 which through my testing has had no negative impact so far.

DD 5.2 beta has been resaved already because I'm getting really tired of people asking this when it's been stated hundreds of times in this very thread that it doesn't matter. Yes, LL search sucks, but even it can find those references if you had bothered to try.

 

If you must have version 44 because you can't be bothered to read up on the subject then use that. If you don't want a beta version, then wait for the beta to finish and grab the new version then. DD 5.2 beta is on the troubleshooting post

Is there any way to import a head with an "open mouth" as a reference in Outfit Studio? I'm trying myself to refit DD gags for custom beast races (not Khajiits and Argonians) in Skyrim but can't "preview" them in OS (I'm looking to install Skyfurry in my next playthrough, and without the refitting many of the head restraints will have a lot of clipping). Thus, it's being a lot of "trial and error" for the gags.

Other headgear (collars, blindfolds, hoods, etc) I'm being able to refit without much hassle, since they don't need the mouth open to work (currently importing the head models as a reference and removing them when the refit is done is working fine). It's a "slow but steady" work, because there are several races to cover and many headgear to do.

Not that I'm aware. The best I can offer, if you are still on SE (won't work for AE) is to use the ingame bodyslide launcher and unequip/reequip after exporting the mesh so you can see your changes. at least then you aren't relaunching skyrim every time too.

A question - ive encountered a nasty interaction between a couple DD mods. Practicly - force equip event on allready equipped slot. As a result - an item (corset) is left in a broken state where i can equip it with a proper prompt. It, however, can be unequipped without any prompts and no longer renders (does not equip its corresponding partner?). Given the love of mods involving DD to force equipping stuff, problem is rather unpleasant.

 Is there any known solution or failsafes i overlooked? I dont seem to see any option to fix said item beyond reverting to previous save.

Reverting to a previous save is the safest option. Don't use mods that use really old versions of DD (4.3 should be ok, but is legacy and may stop working in a future update) or don't respect DD's locked items.

 

You can stick your gear in a container, then examine your inventory using the console and remove the broken item using the console. it should be 1 number off on the formid from the inventory item. if you accidentally remove the device hider, it will requip itself.

 

Optionally, you can use DDe to remove the device. As long as it's not too broken, that usually works for me when a device gets bugged.

Question...
My understanding (which could be very wrong) is that the hobble speed effect comes from both a 1000 debuff to carry weight and an overall speed debuff (This one is controlled by the slider).

 

I have upped my carry weight and would like to up the hobble debuff value accordingly. Is that still how it is done, and is there a way that I can edit that that does not involve editing the source code and recompiling in a... uhm... compiler?

 

If it is just the speed debuff slider how could I change it's value to be higher than the sliders cap?

So it doesn't break the game at least? just might cause some animations to not work? Also, this is still in beta?

Other than those questions, guess I might ask if it's safe to use FNIS on a seperate mod profile from my normal list, or...?

A makeshift solution would be to set the weight of the render object to howevermore you want to increase the debuff by. If you want the debuff to be 10,000, set the weight to be 9,000. It has the same effect, but it's not how the folks here did it. Bear in mind, you'll have to adjust this value for every hobble render item, and don't forget the legbinders.
