SOS has nothing to do with DD. If you're having trouble setting up your list with AE, it's probably better to take it to the troubleshooting section so we can keep this thread related to DD.

 

These are the only requirements for DD. The requirements were updated back in July to point to the SE/AE requirements instead of LE. Make sure you are reading the requirements for each mod you add.

Thanks for the links. I thought I was doing 'upgrades' last night, but something broke, and now SKSE won't fire up at all...I have to backtrack and see what busted, but I have an idea what it might be. Will have to take this a step at a time...?

DD 5.1 from the SE download page should have been a wrong SE version dll, not an LE dll.

 

You can either download the DLL for AE only and use it with DD 5.1 SE or you can install DD 5.2 beta 7 from my conversion on the the troubleshooting post.

The beta has been stable for me all along. If you want to use 5.1 instead, you can, just make sure to install the AE DLL over it.  And start a new game.

Doesn't that cause all sorts of problems with DD and DCL though? There's a big warning on the MCM section about messing with the hider which makes me rather nervous of it.

 

I've tried adding the zad_nohide keyword to the piece of armor affected and adding the relevant master to the armor and it sadly didn't work, so I'm still missing something. Probably something incredibly obvious - computer isn't my first (or even 5th) language!

The only "problem" I encountered from disabling the hider was that occasionally I saw a device clipping with armor.

Then you need found biped slot for your your armor, what hides, and disable hiding this biped slot. But any DD device what have exact the same biped slot will be visible and clipping.

Hiya folks! My first time using a forum, so hopefully I'm doing this right.

 

I've been having issues with this mod crashing my game right after trying to start a new game (I'm installing all my mods before starting). I'm not sure if this is a mod compatibility issue or if there's something wrong with my game or mod download. I may have gotten it running while installed once, but neither had any characters/npcs nor the player character had loaded in (an issue fixed by disabling the mod, clearing the overwrite section, and running FNIS).

 

I've tried both the mega and google download, as well as the 5.2 beta, but nothing seems to work, it always just crashes after the loading screen. I use Mod Organiser, so I've also tried running LOOT and clearing the overwrite section & running FNIS, but that doesn't help either.

 

I've managed to get the game to start with just Deviously Cursed Loot installed and not Devious Devices, but I don't think it'll add anything since it lists DD as a required mod for it. I only say this because I find it odd that that one wouldn't have an issue while the other does. I would've figured either both or neither would work, but not this.

 

I've attached a list of my mods here in case it's a known compatibility issue that I've just glossed over, otherwise if anyone knows a workaround to this issue it would be much appreciated.

Currently the only fix I can think of is pulling out files one by one to see what's making it crash, but that's a rather drastic measure in my opinion. Any advice or knowledge is greatly appreciated, thank you in advanced.

It's long list and many can happens. I use a lot low list (mostly minimal requirement for DCL)

What i can say by my experience -

1) Have you all mods master requirements? Vortex will warn if something missing.

2) Have you installed all mods match to your Skyrim version?

3) Have you installed HDT SMP working version? If yes, set the windows regional settings to default US settings (HDT SMP and own Skyrim needs that to correct read a date) or i experienced CTD when run Skyrim.

4) Have you run Skyrim using SKSE launcher and SKSE64 is up to date and correct version of Skyrim?

5) You have too many animations - have you fixed animations limit and run FNIS? Also even with that mod, too many animations=CTD at game start. Lower animation list. Also by using idle re-placers can lead to broken DD restraint animations - i see one suspect mod. It's not CTD, but broke anims. Alos first i recommend try to lover animation count if all other list is correct.

Hey folks, first time posting here. Looking to get some advice. I've had one helluva time getting the armbinders/yokes etc. to work properly. For whatever reason, the arms don't go into the gear. My character ends up with invisible hands in the case of the armbinders, and just behave normally in the case of the yokes. The hobble dresses similarly only cause me to walk slowly, and not...erm...hobble.

 

I have already made sure that the ZaZ pack option for overriding animations is unchecked. FNIS is throwing no errors, and Bodyslide has been run appropriately. MO2 shows no overwritten issues. I have run LOOT. I have even moved DD and DCL to the very bottom of the load order. Any ideas on what's causing the issues?

Project New Reign - Nemesis Unlimited Behavior Engine

 

Don't use nemesis. reinstall fnis and DD at minimum, and likely all of your fnis mods and rerun fnis again.

It's mentioned not to use nemesis on the troubleshooting post. maybe try reading through that again.

Ah yes, it is in my list, but I don't use Nemesis. Forgot to mention that. However, I believe I did *try* to use it before I switched to FNIS. Maybe its still messing things up somewhere. I'll give it a shot tomorrow

The only way to fully remove it if you ever tried to run it is to reinstall all FNIS mods. if you don't, then even after just rerunning FNIS you'll see nemesis errors in your papyrus log because it can't find it. it's like kudzu, requires extreme measures to kill it.

Just recently reinstalled my SE version and I've got the issue with the gags not fitting into the mouth.  I've already re-ran FNIS and Bodyslide.  Does anyone remember what the fix for this is?

Well I've hit an impasse. I wanted the catsuits to apply chastity, so I added zad_deviousbelt and zad_deviousbra to the black catsuit render object to see if that would work.

 

It does functions as full chastity, as far as Cursed Loot is concerned, but now the catsuit isn't recognized as making my character not naked. I suspect it has to do with conflicts regarding keywords, or the possibility that I missed an important step with the scripts. In any case, I don't know how to proceed from here. If anyone has some insight as to how I can get this to work as intended, I would be grateful.

Please disregard my prior comment. It seems that if you make yourself immune to rape while fully chastised, it doesn't bother assessing conditions, hence why in the debug, it would say my character is vulnerable to rape for being naked. Looks to be in working order so far.

Just for info - those keyword is used to get device conflicts, so if you wear this catsuit, you can't wear a bra and belt, what is necessary put on for Cursed loot quest.
