(and i'll start off by saying that it has one "E" too many in it's abbreviation) unpatched: Quote "It is no longer possible to obtain 2 Dawnbreakers. This weapon was never intended to duplicate. The developers changed the method by which it was to be acquired but forgot to disable the original alias for it." only people that are actually trying to get 2 Dawnbreakers will encounter this "bug" so there was no need to fix this at all. (MS07)" i'm sure that was done on purpose to make the Ebony Blade work on them, you know THE SWORD THAT FEEDS OFF OF BETRAYAL!!! Quote "Mjoll the Lioness is a two-handed warrior, but her favorite sword, Grimsever, is a one-handed glass sword. Rather than change Mjoll into a one-handed warrior (her combat style and perks show she was definitely intended to be two-handed), Grimsever is now a two-handed sword." that just means she got a lot better at using two-handed weapons since she lost her one-handed Grimsever. SHES FUCKING HIDING FROM SIBBI!!! unpatched the "LvlAnimalForestPredator" (000F826D) in the caves beneath Helgen, USLEEP removed it's enable parent and it was messing up the part where you had to sneak past the bear by adding extra creatures to the area. (problem found by EinarrTheRed) the Skyforge and khajiit merchant chests have been moved back to there original locations. because only people that are actually trying to cheat would even know where to find them anyways, so why bother? unpatched the "Totem of the Moon" werewolf Perk, so you can now summon multiple werewolves again. "Ill met by moonlight" quest exploit restored (not tested) patched and/or repatched: Quote "Ebony Blade can no longer be tempered at a grindstone due to clear indications found in game data that specifically states it cannot be heated in a forge etc." but it's so dull that it can't even cut a paper bag, i'm sure Mephala would let you sharpen it. and they made the sword slower as well which makes no sense at all because it has a thinner blade then all the other two-handed swords. Quote "After further review of what constitutes a "shopkeeper" the following NPCs will no longer have investment options added by USLEEP: Anoriath, Brand-Shei, Grelka, Madesi, and Marise. (Bug #19805)" BOOOO!!! Madesi needs the gold (but to hell with Grelka she is a bitch, and Anoriath is a dead man walking anyways so i skipped them for now) Madesi's Dialogue about his name: they still have not fixed this right, where as i have had it truly working right for years in one of my own mods. dresser and chest in Hjerim: the "Noble Chest Drawers" (00016778) that is in the bedroom was placed super badly (in front of the shelves on the right side of the room) and it needed to be moved (uslep did not move it far enough for my likeing, and it has the wrong enable parent), so i moved it to be behind the bed. another error that was not fixed at all is the chest (000E0E51) that was part of the Butcher quest, it gets removed from Hjerim when you "clean up the murder mess", there is no need for it to be removed at all and it leaves a empty space behind. unique Leveled items: i made it so unique Leveled items are no longer Leveled, they will always be spawned/rewarded as there most powerful variant. Note: does not work for unique items that you have already gotten. Dawnguard Rune Axe (loosely based on Trothminbonboicksenfavette's idea https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/90334? ) replaced the Axe's enchantment with a edited copy of Dawnbreaker's Enchantment to prevent the original enchantment's script from killing save files. EinarrTheRed Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 How about fixing or removing the frostbite spider they added to the caves beneath Helgen and a) put in the wrong cave (they put it in with the bear instead of the cave where the spiders are) and b) they didn't set it to be disabled until after the escape from Helgen bit. So now when you do a Helgen start and you are supposed to sneak past the bear, you've got a giant spider that detects you and screws the whole thing up. Or else you do Alternate Start and go back there and there's a giant spider chewing on the guys you're suppose to rescue. Either way, its messed up.

In that cave there is a LvlAnimalForestPredator (000F826D) marker set to Hard (orange) that is supposed to set to the enable parent Helgen Exterior 02, PostHelgenEncounterMarker (CW1MeleeCloseDefender) But for some stupid reason USLEEP removes the enable parent and so it starts enabled by default rather than only getting enabled after you finish the escape part. I usually get a frostbite spider as a result of it being a hard encounter.

I have long thought it would be so much better if USLE(E)P fixed only the things that need fixing, duh! For this reason I'm still using an old, middle-of-the-road, USKP version in my game. But with this here mod coming along, that may change soon - ta!

Who knows, they may have intended to include it, but never did, or cut it for some reason. Likely depends on what the problem was. A simple error in the subtitles should be fixed there - while a inconsistent word in the actual voice file, that doesn't make any sense? I could easily agree it is a minor thing, and perhaps not exactly worth it to make a mod that takes an entire nine months of in-game time to see in full(especially for a minor character), but even just a simple thing, like a different body mesh for her, and a different version of the Blacksmith's Clothes she wears, which reflects that. May or may not be something for a patch, though. Possibly for something like a mod that focuses on changes to embellish the details that go in the direction of sex, nudity, etc, which would plug the holes not filled by other mods.

But You are right, many of the things they did were absolutely personal choice's, and they grabbed at straw's to justify them. Now make the barrel's back normal, so people can put there junk in them again..LOL.. I guess there were afraid I might get a piece of cheese, or a potato out of one of them, gee I might have even gotten a few pieces of gold. I seem to remember a patch like this for Oblivion that fixed a lot of so called bug's in the game, but it allowed you to pick, and choose during installation what you wanted, or did not want. That would have been a lot of trouble, but It would have personalized the game, I mean it is a single player game after all, and to each his own fantasy I say.. Good stuff anyway, I think USLEEP need's a patch to the trash can myself, the one ion the corner of your desk top, but that's just me Opinion! Every one I think is entitled to one. I like the single patches so much better, I can pick, and choose at least a little bit that way. Glad to see you doing this. I might re look at USLEEP if I can get rid of all the Poop in it.

Actually I don't think they rely on it as much as they have it installed when they are modding, and add it as a dependency for good measure. The only thing I ever had real problems with in the vanilla game with no USKP was the log spamming of things like Pillar builder in DLC2, and the Critter (Skyrim Bug's) spamming, and a few others, but I have fixes for all of those, and in the profiles that I play with out any Unofficial patches, My game is solider, and causes less trouble than any of the Profiles where I do have USLEEP or USKP. Now Like you said it just forces another dependency on us for some mod's, which I do not need. I do have USLEEP in at least two profile's, But I seldom play those profile's, as they are more buggy than any of my other Profiles. I run USKP singles in many Profiles, with no problem's or very few. and I can decide if I want the fixes for DCL1 or DCL2, or if I do not want those fixes when I start a new character Or I can just turn off those DLC I don't want at the start of the game. Where I have no USKP or USLEEP I have the smallest Log files, they are so Tiny, and easy to read, and i really like that, rather than having 25000 lines of warning's that mostly mean nothing before I actually reach the line that say's "VM is Thawing", where I actually finally enter the game. It is a personal thing, and I fully understand your use of it, you are forced as you said by dependency ( and it seems to help you, and that is good ), just as I am, so I have two profiles with it installed, I just avoid playing them.

I had to track down some other one's but those two were among the most annoying to me. these are a couple of others I found useful. bugfix FXdustDropRandomSCRIPT bugfix LvlPredatorScript My fix for Blood on Ice, or rather to get the Hjerim home if it buggers on me is this. ( I know it is a shot gun approach ) This one is a real buggy Mess ( When it messes Up ), and it should have had something done with it, but you will notice in the Unofficial patches they like to fix floating rock's, barrels that they decide you should not be able to access legally, and NPC that don't sit in the right chair, and changing a one handed sword to a two hander, when all it was was a Quest Item to be fetched, and carried. ( to there credit they did fix a lot of the Log spam, but not nearly enough ) GET Hjerim 1. PROBLEM: There isn't any body in the cemetery. It's impossible to complete the mission "Blood on the Ice". SOLUTION: Open a console (press ~ key below ESC), type "completequest ms11" and press ENTER. Next type "completequest ms11b" and press enter. Mission completed! 2. PROBLEM: "Blood on the Ice" is completed, but I still can't buy a house. SOLUTION: Open a console, type "setstage a7b33 10" and press ENTER. House was purchased. 3. Buy furnitures and clean house. 4. PROBLEM: In the house are fog, broken glass, etc. Open a console, type "df495.disable" and press ENTER. Have fun! 6. I want you to know I think the USLEEP people did try there best, but I bet there were a lot of disoriented arguments during the development. But I think it boiled down to the way they wanted Skyrim, and that makes me feel like I am pigeonholed in the way I play the game when I use there Patch. I do not always start a new game with all the DLC's on. Quite often I may play through a large part of the Skyrim part, with nothing else turned on. Then latter I may turn on one DLC, work through it, and then turn on another. I mean I don't try to finish all of them before starting another, but I like to get the feel for each of them alone, before activating another. I thought that would be what happened with that Pillar script fix, but I do not know if they included that fix. Possibly not.

That critter one looks Kool, I may have to try that on a profile I have No unofficial patches on, see how it does. The installation, run game, and then remove the Script's is Unusual, but if it work's NIce EDIT >>> I have been using the other Critter script bugfix for long time, but that one looks like it may well be better.
gnarlyfingers Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Another heavy-handed one was the change of Shor's Stone's mine (the one with the spider infection) form Ebony to Iron (along with a change of another mine to Ebony). There was fine justification for the Ebony in that mine (the sample ore sent for analysis).
