look at all of this, there are 2 pages of "new quests" all full of worthless scripting shit.

Jeezus H Krist! Seriously? I had no idea. All the more reason not to use USLE(E)P.

So...apparently Seren in Dawnstar is meant to be pregnant.    ...<Snipped>

a different body mesh/armor would probably be the easier way to deal with her.

Just quoting this discussion for completion sake, but there is yet ANOTHER pregnant woman in Skyrim, in Markarth to be precise (at least according to the father of the child). The name is Rhiada and the father is Eltrys (the one part of the quest "The Forsworn Conspiracy", in case one doesn't remember). She works at the treasury there.

Now about the topic, I was doing something of the sort about USLEEP in my spare time, glad someone more experienced is doing this :D

Just looking for a bit of clarification -

Is there any benefit to running USLEEP along with this UnPatch?

(other than for running mods that have USLEEP as a master)

USLEEP still patches a lot of things that Bugthesda will never fix. The UnPatcher just undoes things that USLEEP shouldn't have fixed. Or didn't fix to begin with. Or broke itself.

Here are two mods that you might be interested looking in :)

Unofficial Skyrim City Patch (USCP)

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79559

Unofficial Skyrim Modder's Patch - USMP

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76101

USCP is mostly ok but it has a bug in Dragonsreach that needs to be fixed (there is a fix for the problem in it's bug reports)

i'm not sure about USMP yet.

I just looked into the latest post of USMP, and it looks like he's gonna have to revamp his whole entire patch since there are errors and bugs in his 2.0 experimental version. Not sure about the 1.1 version tho. I've been using it for quite awhile now, and I have not seen any extreme errors on that one (as far as i know at least) I suggested this mod to you because the 2.0 experimental version has some really good bug fixing mods merged into it. Prob took him a long time to ask each of one of those mod authors their permission to use them O_O Anyways, I'll see if I find any bug fixing mods you might be interested looking into!

@MadMansGun

Q: Is there any chance USLEEP is adding the DLC1ThrallFactions to NPCs that should not have it?  Trying to track down the cause of a bug in another mod.  I've looked in TESEdit and I can't find anything in any of my mods where that gets added to any NPC, but I'm not proficient at finding scripts that might add it.

no, i only see 4 NPCs listed in it's "use info".

K, just wanted to check, I looked at the use info in CK and also checked the faction in TESEdit and couldn't find any changes.  But I didn't know if there was a script somewhere that might be adding it (like I said, I'm not that proficient yet with sorting scripts and you know more about that with USLEEP than me anyway).  I can't imagine why they would have, but not all the changes in USLEEP make sense to me anyway.  Just chasing down possibilities, thanks for looking.

BTW, feel like tackling a possible issue with LAL?  I think it might be causing some bandits to become neutral to the player.  I have an idea what might be causing it but I can't figure out how.

i'm actually terrible at dealing with scripts.

i avoid Live Another Life like the plague, it seems like everyone has some kind of problem with that mod.

Yeah, I dumped recently myself and the amount of stuff it broke just uninstalling it was mind blowing.  I suspect the problem may be in the scripts, but I don't have the source and I'm not really in the mood to unpack and decompile stuff.

Actually a dialogue for Redbelly Mine says it was always an iron mine until they found the sample of quicksilver. Grogmar gro-Burzag in Shor's Stone also buys iron ore, not ebony ore. The place being marked an ebony mine in the game files pre-USLEP was a legitimate bug.

I had read this justification in USLEEP. But why does someone has to say that "it was always an iron mine"? This suggests that something had changed.

The only confusing fact was that the ore sample was quicksilver while the mine had ebony. A simpler way to fix this would be to change the ore sample.

I'm just quoting what is found in-game and on the UESP regarding why it was considered a bug.

The dialogue exists because of that quicksilver ore being found there. Changing the ore sample wouldn't fix anything because finding something that isn't iron in that mine is supposed to be strange and out of place, which makes no sense if the place is then full of the unknown ore, whether it's quicksilver or ebony.
