What are you doing right now in Skyrim (Screenshot required)

Recommended Posts

After a little over a month I finally got Special Edition set up to a base point I'm comfortable with. Still going to be putting in a lot of work, but the early game's visuals are all ready to go.

Here's my girl, having just been marooned on Skyrim by a shipwreck. Things are just going to get messier for her from there...

Eris I'd report you for snuggling a corpse but seeing that we're both in here it seems we're both in the wrong.

I like that thing in the first picture with the immersive name for the guard. Do you know which mod does that ?

The mod responsible in that picture is Jaxonz Utilities which is compilation of the Jaxonz mods. The part responsible was Jaxonz Real Names which gives unnamed NPCs random names when you get close to them. Not the best implementation and chances are likely I won't use the mod again but it was fun to see.

Finally got to battle through a lair of my revamped necromancers. They are actually pretty menacing now, preferring to wear you down with the poison spells from Odin's Spellpack rather than conventional elemental magic:

Poison huh. I don't know much about necromancers. I would imagine they would love frost magic to preserve their corpses.

They tried that, but quickly realized frozen corpses can't move. So they switched to embalming magic...

I was thinking more refrigerator magic but then I realized Skyrim itself is a refrigerator... okay more of a freezer. I just realized that after I typed it down.

Do dark skinned People even get tanlines?

Depends on how dark they are. Light brown skin people still tan, just not as quickly or with as little sunlight as us pale creatures.

Don't think your girl there would get much of a tan somewhere as cold climate as Skyrim though.

Don't underestimate the power of the sun. Even during winter, it is possible to get sunburn.

Via highly reflective snow in case you didn't know. Can also cause snow blindness.
