I'm probably heading there; I am reluctant because I've had Fallout 4 since it came out and played for hundreds of hours but haven't passed halfway through the game yet.  I keep restarting! ?  Frustrating.  Thanks for the help.

That message is not in the FPE code, and has never been in FPE, and FPE is not posting it.  That message is from leftover scripts from the old Family Planning that are still in your save.

 

As I said in the FPE thread, removing scripted mods is not supported in FO4.  When you start seeing the sort of behavior you are seeing it is a sure sign the save is in trouble.

Understandable. So many things can happen when mods are installed/removed. It's difficult to tell if something is an unavoidable fluke situation or a bug that can be fixed.

Don't start the game with any mods other than character presets, hair or similar, the bare minimum. Then play till you talk to Cogsworth and then save and guard that save hold it dearly , back it up, make 2 saves even because one day you will need it again

I've had everything running fine and dandy for the past few days, but I've just noticed today that I'm suddenly being selected for the female role in all(?) of my animations rather than the male role.

 

Anyone have any suggestions as to why that might be? Already went through and re-installed all my animation mods, making sure I selected my character as being male in the ones that gave the option.

 

This happens when launching animations via dialogue via SEU and other such mods, and through the AAF wizard, which does show my character as a male when selecting actors for animations. Though I have noticed when using the wizard that if I select the female actor first, everything works fine, but selecting my character first always results in him filling the female role.

Are you running any mod that bypasses the gender tags for animations, such as AJ Various XML? Did you change the gender setting in AAF?

The only mods I've added since the last time I everything was running smoothly was clothing mods, so I don't think there's a problem there.

 

Also, I wasn't aware AAF had it's own gender setting. Where would that be located? Maybe I tripped something inadvertently.

 

EDIT: Wait, might have solved it. Looks like one of the animation plugins got above the AAF patch somehow.

Have you been living under a rock for the last few months. Lol. Better Body Physics was one of the better ones when it came to CBBE but since CBP came out, every other one is trash. CBP is the way to go with CBBE and it even works better with Fusion Girl. Animations included.

I didn't know that CBP was CBBE compatible.  I didn't know about it until I started to research FG installation

The reason I am not using Fusion Girl is that there are still too many incompatibilities.  I have zero giggle with Fusion Girl from the fact that other mods that I am going to continue to use even if I have to figure out how to update them to FG myself lol.

For what it might be worth. You need to download ZCBP CPB Configs with the CBP mod which applies the jiggles to Fusion Girl. As it is, I am using this combo with Busty Grrl a EVB body..It also applies the effect automatically to all vanilla clothing without having to build everything as with CBBE types.

I still don't know where it came from.  I had never before seen it, suddenly it's there.  I tried to get rid of it with resaver but it didn't work.

Another body option for someone with time and some app knowledge is to bring bodies in from Daz3D. It's quite a bit of work. But, the quality and range of morphs available is really good.

 

Disclaimer: You can't publicly share bodies you make from Daz. But, at least from what I've read, you can use them for private use as long as you have the right license. Double check that before moving forward as I'm just going by second hand information myself.

Gotcha. It is CBBE compatible and it works very well. And like Maddad mentioned, it is also FG compatible so long as you grab the ZCBP file as well as the main CBP file.

That's how AAF wizard works - first selected character is for female/receiving role. As for animations called through SEU, have no idea.

I think you need the latest AAF version 93. I believe he added the new file you need for the camera in that version.

Well, unfortunately someone else who uses tons of different mods will have to weigh in on what might be conflicting with the camera not working. Im not familiar with a lot of the mods you are using and the usual suspects that I know of aren't present. Sorry.

 

Maybe the ESP Explorer one, but like I said not sure.

You can also double check your F4SE Plugins folder and make sure that this file has overwritten the one that was in there.

Thank for your help anyway. I don't think I have any mod that alter camera. And that dll file is in F4SE folder.

I would sometimes have my camera lock up if there were more than 1 animation scene going on at one time, depending on when they each triggered. Have you tried loading an earlier save to see if it fixes itself.  Some time ago, when this happened to me, someone gave me a camera fix file that sorted it out . I have not found it but maybe someone else has it.
