It's thanks to you ANY of this exists. Without you and the countless hours of work (and considerable money, if memory serves) you ALREADY put into all this, both the site and Sexlab itself, I very much doubt we'd be anywhere close to where we are right now. In the parallel universe of modding that is Skyrim's adult modding community, you are the sun.

Actually sucks most of all hearing this from you, as I think you're probably one of the developers here I've been most responsive to, so hate to think what the others have assumed :fearful:

 

I've been dealing with some major mental illness and complicated family situations for the past couple years that's prevented me from really being able to ever focus or fully commit the time needed to finish the update, and more importantly, do what I needed to do for a long time in order to better my own life. Thankfully, less than a month ago, I moved to an entirely new state in order to get away from most of the causes while forcing into a more responsible situation. I'm mostly settled in from that move now, but it's still a slow process for me mentally. Feeling much better now and almost done settling in mentally to my new situation.

 

The change should mean a much bigger and more invigorated focus on the getting this update done. I promised similar progress a year ago and failed. This isn't the first time I've made a post like this about the lack of updates if memory serves. But I can assure anybody counting that the situation now is entirely different. My life situation is entirely turned upside now, by intent and for the better (hopefully). But believe me, I've never forgotten the update. I've felt nothing but guilt for years when it comes to my shitty update progress. But I can't let that keep me down now and so I no longer have any excuses. 

 

I will say though, updating the site forums to IPB 4.3 has been a huge hassle. The 2 test updates I've run on a copy of the site completely break it (due to some critical customizations to the site and/or plugins that people would riot without). This is something I need to focus on asap, seeing as it'll affect everybody here. However, after that's safely out of the way, finishing 1.63 is 100% my priority, followed by getting gitlab back up.

 

 

Take care of yourself, Ashal.  I've also been dealing with mental health issues my whole life.  The mod and forum can wait your health comes first. :smile:

I'm just gonna chime in with the rest. I can't imagine how much work it's been making LL the success that it is, and even harder to imagine the maintenance work (and funds) necessary to keep it functioning. You do have a solid core of site moderators, and there's no doubt they help keep LL on an even keel but the quality of your work is this site's foundation.

 

Then, creating SL on top of that?  Ha. Pride is what you should be feeling, not shame or guilt. You certainly have my respect and thanks. You don't owe me a thing - to me the obligation goes the other way.

It's one of the options for the game in Steam.  I don't remember where because after the last time I cleared all my mods, removed all the game files and did that then cleaned them again in TES5EDIT giving me a clean and proper start I zipped the whole thing up and saved it so I won't need to ever do it again.  I also switched completely over to using Mod Organizer and have never had to use that zipped set of files anyway.

That is the current version of the game- commonly expressed as 1.5.39. You need SKSE64 2.0.7 to go with that version, and Sexlab 1.63.

I have skse64 207 but I think it wasn't working because I had a old skse dll file in my game folder, even before I removed it upon loading a save the game crashes which wasn't happening the last time I started it up.(skse loader)

Clearly, you have not successfully installed SKSE64. You might want to watch one of the many videos on it.

I did! I put the two dlls and exe in the game folder and the scripts(pex) in data/scripts.

You need the Data files too, not just the EXE and DLLs.

 

If something complains after that then you don't have SKSE installed correctly. Don't know what else to say. Delete all the SKSE stuff you put in, verify game integrity to clean up, and try again.

No. Pick either SexLab or SexLab Light. And if you want SexLab then the SexLab Light mods you currently have need to be replaced because they're not compatible.
