I think the usefulness of the LOOT version is much better than the NMM version of the same info.

(PS: In case you don't recognize some of the mods, I'm in the habit of making a new plugin whenever I modify a mod. So, for example, when I needed to give the Divine Elegance long nails a keyword to make them enchantable, I created Apachii DE Nails Kywds.esp as an Override plugin rather than editing the Divine Elegance plugin itself.)

Though I'm not at the stage of troubleshooting knowledge... YET... where I would say "wow, those extra numbers on the side are really useful," and then know what to do with the extra information. Right now, I see "this mod is above/below that one, and therefore overwrites/is overwritten by XYZ," and not much else, but this is noted for the future. I take it the xA, xB, etc, are disabled .esps for a master doing all the heavy lifting? Like the Bijin AIO for example...

I now see that I really need to spend the time to get to know LOOT better...

I watch you guys, see what you do in identifying an issue, then try to emulate that. I'm not at the point of making my own plugins (though I did so with my very brief stint using MO2), nor am I confident on what the instance is in which that would be beneficial (unless it's paring down the .esp count), but I'm getting there lol

You frequently need to know the Hexadecimal Load Order number for a particular mod in order to use console commands with it. Loot shows that, NMM does not.

Not sure what you mean- the alphanumeric numbers are the hexadecimal (base 16) load order that Skyrim actually uses and the ones you need to interact with a mod using the console. From 0 up to 9, decimal and hex notation is the same, but decimal 10 is hex a, 11=b, 12=c, 13=d, 14=e and 15=f. You can see both the decimal numbers and the hex numbers in the LOOT printout. With LOOT, there are no numbers at all next to disabled plugins, making it very easy to tell disabled ones from actives. With the NMM format, you have to struggle to see the little 1's and 0's buried in the plugin's row.

Esp's are not "disabled for a master doing the heavy lifting..." Normally, a plugin is a master either to force loading near the top or to make it easier for other plugins to use some of its assets. I can't even see Bijin AIO in my load order, even with a text search :classic_blink: but if it's there it's disabled because I stuck with the individual plugins instead of the AIO. Therefore it shouldn't have any "xA, xB" next to it in LOOT.

Using a custom override plugin instead of editing the original mod plugin means that when the mod is updated I won't have to re-do my edits- I can just uninstall the old version and install the updated version and the nails will still all have the keywords I added. If I edited the original mod version I would either have to avoid updating it or re-do my edits after updating.

I use "No NPC Greetings" It's very useful. Even shuts up that jerk who always says "Do you get to the Cloud District often? No, of course you don't."

I have been using that one for years myself. I hoped it would shut up that dialogue between Ulfric and Galmar that plays each and every time you enter the palace in Windhelm, but it does not. The penny finally dropped and I realized that the annoying dialogue was not a "greeting" at all but a scene which plays ad nauseum. This has nothing to do with this thread but I cannot resist seizing the opportunity to rant about that annoying part of the game.

Papyrus was turned off i think in my skyrim.ini, I enabled the log one and started the game with sexlab, as usual it went to blank screen then desktop. I looked in the logs folder and I saw nothing there. So should i disable the sexlab and corresponding mods to let the game actually load and then quit and check the logs to see if anything showed up?

Papyrus was turned off i think in my skyrim.ini, I enabled the log one and started the game with sexlab, as usual it went to blank screen then desktop. I looked in the logs folder and I saw nothing there. So should i disable the sexlab and corresponding mods to let the game actually load and then quit and check the logs to see if anything showed up?

The LL mods look like they're fine where they're at, but I don't know enough about the others to say they conflict or not. I've ran across several posts in random mod pages about Books of Skyrim not playing nice with mods you'd never think it would touch, but I wouldn't rush to that as being the issue.

You'll have to get in game for anything to show after setting up logging, though I'm unsure if Papyrus would capture the cause of you're unable to get to load screen with SL enabled. The goal is to get us some sort of record that will give us insight. Right now it seems we're kinda stabbing in the dark, as I'm not exactly sure what you've tried and haven't tried outside of this thread. Kinda dumb Skyrim doesn't have a crash log, but oh well.

I'd be curious if you have a backup, clean save where you could load the LL mods and narrow it down to those. If you grab Alternate Start and load base dependencies for Sexlab and SOS SE only, it would give a quick way to test on a clean save. This way it would cut down the list of potential offenders to a more manageable level if it's a mod conflict. That would be my next step if I had the same issue with a mod.

Gotcha. Did you try just Sexlab first by itself (and of course, just it's defendants)? By the way, USSEP should be above everything else and below the main game/DLC .esps.

Hey guys,

I'm having a small issue of my own, if someone wants to take a stab at it.

When having sex with my wife, she won't ditch the panties during some animations ("Damn babe, wtf?"). I'm sure there are those (like during foreplay) where the female goes topless and keeps them on until a penetration animation plays. Ok, that's kinda like RL, I like the immersion of that part, kinda cool.

But I have been playing with the settings in the Timers and Stripping tab, and have checked the articles of clothing she should be removing, but to no avail. I did go through the View drop down, applying these same settings to Normal, Foreplay, and Aggressive timers, also to no effect.

It happens during Leito Cunnilingus and 3jiou Anal and a couple others I can't recall off the top. I'd be cool with her just showing up in her birthday suite for all animations, but do like the immersion of partial dress during foreplay. Not a deal killer for me if all scenes are buck nekkid, which I'd assume the View drop down is for, but it's not working for NPCs for me, unless I'm missing something.

Any way to get her nude for all scenes? All strip settings work just fine for my male PC.

You can try "Strip Item Editor" in SL preferences when having the clothing in your inventory. Select it and set it to "always remove" (or something close to that).

hehe yup, running that and FNIS is now like an involuntary mechanical response. I caught myself running FNIS the other day after installing a single texture pack... :confused:

And I believe he was using LOOT to sort, but must have missed that when he disabled/enabled his plugins for testing.

Hi Last, thanks for the reply. The Strip Item Editor speaks to the PC, which works fine for me.

It's my wife/follower that isn't dropping the undies... She must have got into the "wedding cake" LOL

Look for "Panties" ,"thong", "undies" whatever. In Timing & Stripping have that slot checked to remove it.

I hate to be the one that asks this question... but... is Ashal still working on Sexlab? We've been on this version since January (with only a recompile for SKSE 2.0.7) and I'd really, really love to have my sex acts start up a bit faster.

I completely understand why you'd think that and completely agree with your reasoning. I have been dreading the need to respond to such a question for a long while now, but here we are I guess. I've 100% completely sucked at keeping people updated and releasing timely updates.

Actually sucks most of all hearing this from you, as I think you're probably one of the developers here I've been most responsive to, so hate to think what the others have assumed :fearful:

I've been dealing with some major mental illness and complicated family situations for the past couple years that's prevented me from really being able to ever focus or fully commit the time needed to finish the update, and more importantly, do what I needed to do for a long time in order to better my own life. Thankfully, less than a month ago, I moved to an entirely new state in order to get away from most of the causes while forcing into a more responsible situation. I'm mostly settled in from that move now, but it's still a slow process for me mentally. Feeling much better now and almost done settling in mentally to my new situation.

The change should mean a much bigger and more invigorated focus on the getting this update done. I promised similar progress a year ago and failed. This isn't the first time I've made a post like this about the lack of updates if memory serves. But I can assure anybody counting that the situation now is entirely different. My life situation is entirely turned upside now, by intent and for the better (hopefully). But believe me, I've never forgotten the update. I've felt nothing but guilt for years when it comes to my shitty update progress. But I can't let that keep me down now and so I no longer have any excuses.

I will say though, updating the site forums to IPB 4.3 has been a huge hassle. The 2 test updates I've run on a copy of the site completely break it (due to some critical customizations to the site and/or plugins that people would riot without). This is something I need to focus on asap, seeing as it'll affect everybody here. However, after that's safely out of the way, finishing 1.63 is 100% my priority, followed by getting gitlab back up.

For some reason when I have a scene with 3 males and 1 woman, the only animation avaible is ZynGay Fouway, i mean how is that possible? =\ I installed other mods like FunnyBiz pack etc but the game still register oly 93 animations even if I used FIN and rebuilt the registry from ingame dunno what else to do.

Ashal, Site Admin and Sexlab Development are too much for one person. Pick the activity you enjoy, and farm the other, at least temporarily, off to someone you trust.

As near as I can tell, if anything happened to you, Loverslab would simple evaporate. And that would be a disaster for everyone.
