tekriax Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Alright so I tested a bit more, but I am still having the same problem. FNIS shows that it is reading Sexlab framework, and re-registering animations doesn't change anything. However, every time I try to initiate a sex act with newly registered animations, the anim cache 1 through 110 (conveniently the same amount of animations registered in sexlab) will say INVALIDATED in the console. I'm not sure what this means, does anyone know?
FoxtrotTangoWhisky Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Installed this through mod organizer 2. Not working. Game won't even launch when it's enabled. Any tips?

I'm not sure what this means, does anyone know? Is it just matchmaker doing it, or do other methods of starting animations work fine? Assuming by "converted matchmaker" you don't mean SexLab Lite's version (which isn't needed or compatible, the normal oldrim version should work fine.) But it might be a bug with the new animation caching system in 1.63. So to help track it down for fixing in future versions, enable Skyrims papyrus debug logging if you haven't, load your save file, goto SexLab's MCM Rebuild & Clean page, and run the Clean System option, close menu and wait for the popup saying it's finished and wait another 30 seconds or so in case anything is still actually finishing up, and then, try initiating the sex animation again. Assuming it still isn't working, quit the game and upload the most recent papyrus log so I can take a look at what might have broke.
JimKhan Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Something I've noticed with 1.63 is that it takes time to integrate changes in the MCM. For example, if I toggle a few animations off, it may not immediately start playing without them, or the opposite if I toggle them on. Oddly enough, the problem everyone seems to mention about animations taking a lot to start, isn't present with me. If I use Matchmaker, they start fast, with Spouses Enhanced they start a little slower but not by much. I've no idea why in my case it's acting so differently than reported.

Here is the papyrus log after loading, cleaning the system, trying to initiate animations via matchmaker (not lite, completely converted), no animations playing, then exit game. I hope this helps and thanks for anything you come up with. P.S. the only other method I tried using was the new SL Defeat for SE. Same errors came up in the console. Papyrus.0.log

Papyrus.0.log Still no idea what you mean by converted. There is nothing to convert, the same version of matchmaker already works with both versions of Skyrim. But in any case, you clearly messed something up with your SKSE install. Quote [05/01/2018 - 11:41:29AM] ERROR: Static function CreateFloatArray not found on object utility. Aborting call and returning None All the stuff like that and various others are saying the SKSE added functions are missing. Reinstall it the latest SKSE and make sure nothing is overwriting its scripts. Your RaceMenu scripts are also missing from the looks of it, but that's unrelated to your SexLab issue.

rennex Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Does the cum function work with this SE version? I haven't seen any cum on my npcs, also after a certain period of time my animations toggle won't work(toggle off all my anal animations and toggle on vaginal animations.) sexlab will still play all the previous anal animations I had toggled before and ignore the vaginal I just toggled to play instead, I have to roll back to a previous save to select what animations I want to use.

I've seen it several times in SSE with SL Framework 1.63 beta. 1

Thanks for the help Ashal! You simply had mods overwriting and/or improperly installed SKSE scripts. SexLab, and many others, heavily rely on those script functions working. If what those scripts provide isn't present, things break. Simple. Things like this are why I'm so adamant about any support request including a papyrus debug log. Though sadly, few actually do. The problem was immediately obvious just glancing at your log. In any case, glad it wasn't a major bug with the caching system after all. Though I suspect @JimKhan's issue above is almost certainly caching related. But that's likely just a simple cache invalidation issue when toggling animations that I can track down easy enough. --- Sidenote: Anybody complaining about the game not starting has clearly either not fully read the OP after the beta 2 update, are trying to use beta 2 with an old version of Skyrim, or are using an outdated PapyrusUtilSE build that's overwriting SexLab's more current version (which matches current nexus version) I've updated the OP a bit to try and make it a bit more clear/obvious what you need to do when installing beta 2.

Cum working here (sse). If you are like me and install and uninstall stuff all the time, there will be problems and conflicts. I accept it. You can try running the clean function on various sexlab mods and it will sometimes fix niggling problems. If something seems to flat out not work, start a new game and see if it works, 99/100 it will. Also double and triple check all your dependencies, mod versions, check for updates, re-run your bashed or mashed patches, check your load order; and finally actually look through your data folder because occasionally I've found something installed in the wrong place.

As I'd prefer not to break the existing default animation compatibility for those creatures and people who don't use MNC. The easiest way to do that right now would be to register for the modevent SexLabRegisterCreatureKey and then in the callback just ClearRaceKey("xyz") and then redo the AddRaceID("xyz", "abcRace")'s that sslCreatureAnimationSlots does but without the mentioned races. I'd also ideally prefer to just move all creature keys/animations registration to MNC instead of including it with SexLab while we're at it. But I feel like we're probably several years to far into it for that to be a smooth enough transition.

TruthseekerD Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 I installed this framework but it never loads the mcm settings i just get the pop ups that it's ready but nothing changes no matter how many times I've told it to install.

Sounds like a clear-cut case of what I need to fix. The system I put in for invalidating animations when they are toggled doesn't work well or fast enough to catch up in time for your animation. However, on the off chance, I'm wrong - I certainly won't reject some additional debug info if you want to do the same I listed above, just replace the matchmaker stuff with your own bug reported issue. 1

There's an argument a spirited discussion raging in one of the threads around here about how to use Tempered Skins with SoS-SE without having two schlongs per man, and once some consensus is reached you can always get your beautiful TS body back at a later date. As to how you resave the Matchmaker plugin, just open it up in the Creation Kit (64-bit version for SSE and FO4) and after it finally loads up (Say "Yes to All" to all the error messages) simply click the little diskette symbol to save the plugin as a Form Type 44 (SSE) plugin. That's it. That's odd, the SoS I'm using is the one that comes with Tempered Skins for males. I see no problem with it till today, it works fine. There's no mod configuration menu, if that's the issue but it's not bothering me at all. Besides, the mod was made for SSE anyways.

SoS Light should be perfectly fine to use with the full version of SexLab in SSE, in just the same way that SoS Light is fine to use with the full version of SexLab in the original Skyrim. I think there was just some confusion about the "Light/Lite" part of its title. SexLab Lite mods generally don't work with full SexLab, but SoS is a different suite of mods so there should be no such problem.
