As soon as I press "Save" it publish my blog entry. But it's OK. I don't know why it happens in my case, so I wouldn't post my blog entries before I finish the whole story. It's not okay. It shouldn't be doing that and I want to fix it. Could you make a quick test post with the publish button disabled and link it to me? I need something to go off of if I'm going to fix it.

And I know the blog section can be a bit of a mess at the moment x.x Will try and make some improvements to it once ipb 4.3 comes out soon. The blog index page being stupid slow because its hiddenly rendering the entire post of image heavy posts is one of my top priorities then - along with trying to make it suck a lot less navigationally... 3

That's a great news. Would new software will approve privacy and blocking sections too? You see, I found it strange that blocked member still can read my posts, become my follower and post to me.

No offense, follower sounds stupid, they are friends!!! some of them even very good. that had to be said now!!! imagine yourself, the next time I write you, I do not write * Hello my friend * but rather * Hello my follower *, beautiful shit. 1
Sagebrush61 Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Within the last week I've been getting E-mails from Loverslab saying I've logged in from a "New Device" which we've never seen before". I'm using the same device I have for years, and checking the log-in history shows a long unbroken stream of exactly the same information. I don't know what has changed recently, but a steady stream of false alerts is not just annoying, it's dangerous. It trains people to ignore alerts.

I've only accesed LL through my PC or my phone, which I've used countless times already without that happening. The "Recently Used Devices" section of my Settings page lists each login as a separate device even though they have the same IP and are obviously the exact same devices. I assumed this was because the site uses cookies to identify devices and I always delete my cache and cookies when I'm done browsing, but that doesn't explain why it has started happening all of a sudden.

I recommend to enable the 2 level authentication in your preferences. Right now LLab bans automatically an IP for 15 minutes in case the access looks like suspect. And after 3 failed login attempts an email of warning is sent.

I sometimes fail the first login attempt due to a faulty keyboard, a caps lock that shouldn't be active, or a combination or both that causes my password to be typed wrong; but I've never failed 3 in a row. Plus, I don't recall failing at all any of the times I've gotten the email. It just started happening out of the blue. Has anything about the page's code been changed lately that could have triggered that behaviour? I guess I could enable that authentication. But due to the cookie-cleaning-on-exit thing I mentioned above, would I have to go through it each and every single time I wanted to log in again, even if it's the exact same device? Because if so, it would be too much of a hassle.

I don't do it specifically for LL, I do it for any kind of browsing I do. Don't want no cookies in my browser, you see. I guess I'll activate the setting and see what happens; if it asks me for the verification every time, I'll have to turn it off. In any case, I still think something happened with the page code or whatever that caused the emails to start being sent as @Sagebrush61 said too, so it may be worth looking into.

No questions, but the email was sent yet again. Either you were talking about the Google Authenticator option only and not the Security Questions, or something is really broken with the email system that causes it to send them even though the web doesn't actually recognize the login as "suspicious".

I think we have to look at it. Because of some spammers that were attacking the site, the security measures were increased.

I haven't failed a login attempt in a very long time, did set security questions, and absolutely won't use Google Authenticate or anything else from google. Still getting an e-mail everytime I log in.

I should call there, so that my PC is made accessible to me again. Ha, but not with me, my special program has thrown these criminals out of my PC. but an examination of these old Threads would be advisable.

I've also got similar warning e-mails repeatedly since the other day (?) with private browsing option (no cookie). Curiously enough, according to my profile, I was supposed to have changed my location since March 27, though neither my old nor new location (constantly since then) was not so accurate.
mirlo1 Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Same problem here. I checked my IP and the location is different to that what your side says. My IP has when i check it the right city and not there where your IP locations is.
myuhinny Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 I don't get any notification from any of the ones that I have blocked.

Maybe you don't receive them because you're moderator and have certain privileges that enables your browser to work differently then ours. Even supporters have them unlike us. I'm not complaining, but I'm just saying that LL treats differently certain members, like supporters, administrators and moderators.
CheddarTrauma Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Where the 'issues' topic at. Setting your "Profile Privacy" to 'Administrators' will block you from viewing your own profile. Since you won't be able to access your profile page after that you'll have to go through your account settings to make changes. When you try to access your profile page you'll be met with this error: Spoiler Sorry, there is a problem The page you are trying to access is not available to guests, but may be available if you sign in. Error code: 2membertools
