I looked into the Data/SKSE/Plugin folder but can not find a nioverride.ini where I could change : bEnableFaceOverlays=1 ; Default[0] to bEnableFaceOverlays=0 ; Default[0] I guess nio... is somewhat included in the Racemenumod Edit: according to the skee64.ini Now I will experiment with it. It worked! Don t get me wrong. I love this mod and would wish for further development. But I wish we could choose a bit more about the effect on our character or followers. Like different patters of fur in the face, without cow nose, I don t like the fat or dirty bottom. There is a newer version (1.8pre3) were you can toggle off facial changes and individual mutations, like nose, eyes, fur and mouth

I downloaded the two files. Then I need to port this to Skyrim SE again... And I totally forgot how I did that the last time. I have Skyrim LE but the SE version is better.
zenekzzz Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 1. Unpack Skyrim - Being a Cow xxx.zip. 2. Extract the bac.bsa file using Bethesda Archive Extractor, then delete the bac.bsa file. 3. You optimize mod files using SSE NIF Optimizer. 4. And you play 1
ZI0MATRIX Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 New problem: The Bell is silent and I guess thats the fault of Vortex because the folder is managed by it. Lets see if I can fix that.
AWHA Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Just did a quick conversion of BAC for Skyrim SE. All I did was unpack the BSA and optimize the NIFs. It "mostly" works, however there are some problems: bodymorph scaling does not work (I am using CBBE SE with Racemenu SE). I have other mods that use bodymorph scaling in SE and they work, so I think the BAC morph scripts may need to be converted to CBBE SE. the skin overlays (fur) are designed for oldrim UNP body, some of them don't match the CBBE body in SE. for whatever reason, the final stage hooves are invisible. Hooves from early stages are fine. The bodyslide files for hooves and other items are not made for CBBE SE (I think they are for UUNP), so there will be clipping. Paul has facegen bug, maybe other characters do too. The tail is static, probably because it was made for HDT PE and not HDT SMP. If anybody knows how to fix any of the above issues, feel free to share.
Thelargir Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Is this mod still being worked on? It's been over a year since the last update, so I'm just wondering if it's been abandoned Would really like to be able to actually finish the quest

I think real life stuff and other projects.

SilentOption Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 so he is working on devious training. I hope Being a Cow complete version would have the character walk on all fours with a collar and leash around her neck. 2

Rocker9898 Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 I've got a huge problem, the cow's skin does not load, instead of showing me the skin it shows me only a blue skin. I've tried smashing with Race menu, but nothing happened. Does somebody knows how to solve this problem? Anyway I was looking the screenshot taken by other users and in my race menu there isn't the beast menu and so on. P.S. I m using CBBE, and I've uninstalled a skin mod in order to make this mod to function.

If you look in the download section, their should be a slavetats download that you'll need to get this working.

But i've got another issue: the face remain normal i.e. the cow face does not appear, does somebony knows how to fix it? P.S. I'm using racemenu with CBBE and no skin mod.

Ok, how far along has your transformation progressed? It takes time for the face to start getting affected. A lot of the facial affects are also mutations, so if they aren't immediately there, you can start spamming the mutagen potions to get them to show up. Otherwise, it may just be a matter of not being far along enough in the transformation - they're later changes. You can check how far along you are in the MCM menu, under like, "Cows" or something.
ZI0MATRIX Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 I wish to have more freedom with the mutations. Maybe make the "Hardcore mode" so that you have limits. The reason is that I am trying to get "blush when aroused" working on Skyrim SE but I had limited the face tattoos so that my character does not get the cow nose. Does someone know how to prevent BAC from using the texture for the cow nose?
chooo Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 Spoiler Another cow A lot of work on this one to get some nice heavy, thick hips and legs, and an idle where her arms arent clipping. Time to start milking and adventuring. 4
drgnbzfan84 Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 nice work very clean transformation 1
Sam19823 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 the hooves have no sound !! Do i miss any mods for this one or my game is broken Can some one help me about that ; )
Odoroki Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Any reason my skin texture would turn solid blue after hitting 40% transformation? I'm assuming i missed something but idk what. Nvm im dumb... see above about slavetats pack causing that sometimes, I will try to fix it." Edit: after install Slavetats, with Being a Cow noting that it sees the mod, I still have blue skin... Edit2: Found that the body paint keeps giving it a blue shade everytime the Being a Cow mod checks stats (transformation%) and it doesn't have any texture besides default... and it just paints it solid blue... at what transformation % are udders supposed to appear?
joshua1029384756 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Hey there, I was curious since it wasn't totally clear (to me anyway) from the profile but I was curious if in the last few stages if the face stretches into a cow like muzzle like an anthro (or if that could possibly be added as a bone for hardcore transformation fans). Just curious, and figured I may as well ask.
