I remembered this thread so I decided to give converting at least one of the armors (for SSE/BodySlide64)to see how it goes. It seemed to have worked about as well as I had expected/hoped. Everything scales up just fine even at larger sizes but larger bodies makes the phallus bulge outward at the middle as if the fabric/chain mail is straining under the pressure of a bigger gut pushing against a bigger male member.

Hi, is there an easy way to get negative values slider right in the BodySlide?   Now I edit the values manually by editing the file preset in Notepad. I mean something like: now it's 0 to 100, I want -100 to 100.

Is there an easier way to. . . 

 

Modify a bunch of meshes at once? I've recently installed a bunch of different outfits (not a stack of recolors of a mesh) from the same artist (using a seemingly same source mesh) and they all clip in the exact same places. 

 

If there was a way to move a common set of verts (whether by editing xml files or something else), I could save myself several hours of per-outfit "Expand" brush usage.

Tutorial: How to exceed the maximum range of sliders in BodySlide

 

  1. 1. Localize file "Config.xml" in BodySlide folder. 

     ( Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\Config.xml)

 

  1. 2. Open Config.xml file in notepad.

 

  1. 3. Find lines:  <SliderMinimum>0</SliderMinimum>

                              <SliderMaximum>100</SliderMaximum>

 

  1. 4. Change the range as needed. For example:  <SliderMinimum>-100</SliderMinimum>

                                                                                     <SliderMaximum>150</SliderMaximum>

 

  1. 5. Save file. DONE :classic_smile:

 

 

If you do not find the necessary lines in the file, you need to add them manually ! ! !

Hi I recently did something to my outfitstudio for some reason my nifs all are semi transparent. Its making weight painting very hard to say the least. So I hope someone knows how to turn that off. Ps it's not ghost mode eather lol. Also it is only in outfitstudio I have this problem. Nifscope sees them fine as well as nifs fine ingame.

Hey, all. Not sure how active the support is in this thread anymore but what the who. Maybe someone can help me out with a head-scratcher.

 

So, a while back I decided I didn't want to screw around with dozens of tiny armor pieces with The Amazing World of Bikini Armor, I just wanted to make my own vanilla armor replacers out of it. Using bits and pieces from the Vanilla Armors Replacer UUNP version of it, I took my favorite parts and Frankensteined them together into single piece body armors in Outfit Studio. 99% of them worked out perfectly and they showed up in game exactly how I wanted them to, putting me into bikini heaven. It's that pesky 1% I have an issue with.

 

For reasons I cannot for the life of me figure out, the Blades armor is not working correctly. I've gone over it a bunch of times thinking I maybe forgot a step in OS or that I was missing a mesh or something but I can't figure out what the issue is.

 

So, first, I opened the project, and later just the outfit .nifs, in Outfit Studio and it seems fine.

Just to make sure, I opened it up in BodySlide next, previewed it, then re-built it with morphs and all the goodies.

Again, no issue. Just to be on the safe side I even opened up bladesarmorf_0.nif and bladesarmorf_1.nif in Outfit Studio to make sure everything looked the way it should and it did. When I equip the armor in game, though, I get this:

Whole parts of the armor are missing and I can't figure out why. It's not even entire pieces that are missing, either. Looking at the screenshot I posted above from Outfit Studio, the pieces that showed up are Blades 2 and only part of Blades 1. Blades 2 is the ornate black armor plate on the right, Blades 1 is supposed to be the brown armor plate with the cord holding it together and two straps going around her neck which are noticeably absent. 

 

So, what's the deal here, does anybody have any idea? As I said earlier, I did this process with every other armor in TAWoBA as well as Bikini Ascend vol.1 and it worked flawlessly. Did I miss something? Is there something that may be blocking entire parts of the mesh from showing up in game? Any help or insight anyone can offer would be appreciated because frankly, I'm at a loss.

Look for body slot being used and make sure you click them in armor addons set up. It looks like only the body slot is being used and I guess the lower missing parts were probably 51 or 52 what ever the pelvis secondary is.

Did you check the Partitions? Those bikini sets are made to piece together in game but if you're making mashups and replacing armor sets in other mods like I do the bikinis won't show. They need to be set at 32 for the body. Otherwise they're invincible...

Brilliant, that was it exactly. I'd forgotten to reassign the partitions in Outfit Studio all to Body slot 32. Worked like a dream!

What I've been able to tell is that adding HDT is copying the weights from a reference to another. This is what I've done to add bounce to a top or something. I've also removed the weights from heavy armor so the top doesn't bounce but the breasts still do under.

What you mean preset? 

 

For me preset would mean you are asking about having different bodies so your followers can be different.  Preset indicates body shape or are you asking for same shapes but new hdt links? 

Eather way it's easy enough to do. Just say what you meant. 

O never mind I figured out after reading. This can be hard depending on body you want to use. If I had to guess it be clones realbody that has a buthole. If so the boobs will be hard. So step 1 get a copy of both bodies in same file and import them both.

Step 2 load reference body cbbe hdt.

Step 3 select just new body shape but not the first cbbe body that you imported with new body and conform selected.  This is important you want your new body hooked up to cbbe sliders how ever you still need a cbbe shape not hooked up to sliders yet.

Step 4 you adjust the sliders so new body shape is as close to cbbe as possible.  It's so much easer if you just wanted the hdt bones added to it.

hello kind people, 

I've got weird issue with body-converting, it's not really about Outfit Studio but related question i think, so hope someone here can help.

 

After exporting body from Daz in .obj and importing to OS it appears with  textures inverted  inside the body. I'm very new to modding and 3d so i huv no idea what's going on. Btw i installed Maya, but seems i cant export properly from there in .obj to get things in OS.

 

In game it looks like on screenshot, you see nipples and navel from back view

Delete all info before you export obj.

And if you have maya then you should be able to get 3dsmax and then you dont use obj but nif to export.

You can not use daz stuf without paying for the right. Inless I am rong. You can always do anything on your own computer but forget about sharing the mod and really forget about ever getting payed for it.

seems its not there, it just turns textures upside down and from right to left.

No they place a hold on your account tell court. If you don't make money I think your ok but if you make money they will want there share. They have every one of there stuff protected by law. Read there info on subject. I all so think they had some free for all stuff. And there is two things in bs you can use to change the textures. Inside out and left to right I believe. I have never used those buttons yet so just a guess. Also I think the daz stuff is made In a way to do that exact thing. Messes with the faces. I dont have daz on my current computer so I cant try and see what it does. You might just dump all info but the obj and bring in your own textures after you use bs to make a nif fully rigged.

I dont say these things because I like daz but to warn you if you use there stuff in a mod and it ends up behind a pay wall they will hold some one accountable.

Yeh, i clicked both invert UV (xy) and mirror (xyz) , it turns textures but not the way i need.

Well i did, found this https://www.daz3d.com/interactive-license-info. As i understand you get that additional *interactive licence and do whatever you want. Actually there is plenty of daz stuff for skyrim here and there, and ppl  share it and even make money. I dont see any problem till loverslab will ban me for that. But thx for warning anyway.

Ya I read there stuf long ago so I hope they gotten cheaper but like I said that's all on you and only ever a thing if you make money.  So next thing to try is fix it in nifscope.

How should i fix it, only if there is an option to mirror-invert texture from its back side.
