DustinMock Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 Yes - was from Nicholas. I think you have to wait like everyone else is waiting Waiting is better anyway. Not like you don't know the skyrim story or anything already. Longer wait = better quality and more refined CBBE and sliders, Bugs and kinks worked out in other mods making them fully functional or better than the original. If you got a half baked CBBE now, you would end up playing a half baked skyrim, just be patient and then you can enjoy the true, full potential of the x64 engine applied to skyrim.
migal130 Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 Did you check vertex colors under the bsdynamictrishapes? I would check that against the body to see if they have the same setting. Also, are you using a custom head mesh or the vanilla head mesh? If you are using the vanilla one, I'd extract it as well to check what it is defaulted to. The vertex colors for heads (both head nifs and the facegeom nifs), whether SSE vanilla, Oldrim converted, or SSE CK generated, are all white. The Oldrim CBBE body and the SSE vanilla body have no vertex colors. Even the underwear on the vanilla body has no vertex colors.
jjay11 Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 is there an eta on the new cbbe (weather its a beta version for testing or the ful version?) ETA is GFY
LeFlemard Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 is there an eta on the new cbbe (weather its a beta version for testing or the ful version?) ETA is GFY no need to be insulting masterofthantos, there's no ETA as it will be ready when it's ready.
CanadianBlueBeer Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 LOL. Well, when it's done, I've got an armor mod I want to make for Underground Bathhouse. But I NEED CBBE to do it right. (basically, I'm going to make a female version of Andragons armor. The one he uses covers everything up. I like the changes to the stats, but, want it skimpified.... hey, why are we here?....)

(basically, I'm going to make a female version of Andragons armor. The one he uses covers everything up. I like the changes to the stats, but, want it skimpified.... hey, why are we here?....) Just make it for old CBBE for the time being. While it won't be the same as new CBBE, I'm sure there won't be a massive difference in the body shape, and 10 bucks to a donut says that if Ounisius will have a convert TES5toTES5SSE slider available rather quickly after launch.
CanadianBlueBeer Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Thought of that. I could go back to oldrim, load CK (actually, I'd have to get it, seems missing from my new rig), make the mod, move it over... bleah. I'll just wait. Besides, poking about, found a bug in the CK. I want to use a circlet for the helm. Great. um, CK can't find circlets. WTF?? unpack the .bsa, yup, they be there. CK? whatchyoutalkinbout? grrr. GG Beth.

ousnius Posted December 17, 2016 Author Posted December 17, 2016 BodySlide and Outfit Studio 4.2: - General: Rewritten all shaders to make use of normal and specular maps for a more accurate and detailed preview. - General: New lighting with three directional lights, one frontal light and an ambient factor. - General: Only Skyrim preview renders normal and specular maps right now. FO4 has the new lights. - General: Improved alpha rendering. The blending/testing modes and threshold are now taken into account. - General: UV offset/scale properties are now taken into account in the shaders. - General: Fixed crash related to NiTriStripsData when calculating normals. - Outfit Studio: Fixed copying extra data and collision references properly when copying a shape. - Outfit Studio: Increased size of the "Load Preset" dialog and made it re-sizable. - Outfit Studio: Fixed crash for meshes without vertices/triangles. - Outfit Studio: Fixed minor issue related to NIF files of versions prior to SK.

Thanks Ousnius, you guys really get far too little credit and appreciation for the incredible advancements you have made in modding with this set of tools. The time and effort going into this has got to be immense. Thanks for all you guys do.

This is the only thing stopping me from starting the game again - the lack of CBBE lol :/
KatoArabel Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Request: Release a CBBE Beta for Christmas? Please? Pretty please with titties on top?
HylianSteel Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Request: Release a CBBE Beta for Christmas? Please? Pretty please with titties on top? ummmm..... no.
KatoArabel Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Request: Release a CBBE Beta for Christmas? Please? Pretty please with titties on top? ummmm..... no. Wasn't expecting it, but it would've been nice. I had such a positive experience using CBBE in Fallout 4 with the bodyslide utility that I really liked it, tremendously. One of the problems I'm having lately is that Bodyslide for SSE isn't showing anything in the dropdown menus, and my Google-Fu doesn't find me any answers on this issue. :\

You need to install bodies/outfits. You can manually extract the oldrim BodySlide to get the CBBE files and put them into the SSE folder but there's no support for that.

Thanks for the information. Still, I would like a detailed guide on how to make this work. I've been trying to use the OldRim Bodyslide's CBBE files in the SSE Bodyslide, but it still shows no dropdown menu. Or should I just install the OldRim Bodyslide and use that instead? Edit: And the Preview window doesn't work in the Oldrim Bodyslide - and this is for OldRim, to boot (I had it reinstalled). I cannot see what kind of changes I am making to my CBBE body. Edit2: Finally got it working, had to use the 64 bit executable from the Fallout 4 version of Bodyslide, as well as some missing files to get it to work. Now I have to address the other issue: janky textures. How to fix this? Edit3: After much dickerying about, I finally fixed it. Turns out the textures were the wrong ones from a different mod. All is right with the world.
Guest Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 How about you go and make one? Always, if you search a tut and don't find one go ahead and make one, knowledge is the most important property of mankind;)
Bnuldun Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Sure, I'm excited and can barely wait for the new CBBE to come out. I mean, I check Latest Files section of the Nexus every single day, but I'm really wondering if XunAmarox will release "CBBE Innies" once the new version comes out. I already have 227 hours in SSE. I'm gonna be bored of it soon because I've almost done every single quest there is to do and I'm playing as a female character this time as opposed to my 463 hours as a male in Oldrim. Hmph.
