Happy holidays. :)

(CBBE isn't ready just yet, so don't get your hopes up today!) :P

Here's two random screenshots, though. CBBE SSE base shape + fair skin complexion. Base shape is very slim and hour-glassy now. The actual default preset will be different and of course you will be able to use sliders yourself as well, so the only thing to really judge here is the polygon count, I guess. :P Hands and feet are WIP (weighting not done yet).

- General: Fixed crash when loading textures in the ATI2 format (often FO4 normal maps).
- General: Fixed invisibility issues in the rendering for AMD drivers by temporarily disabling cubemaps.
- General: Fixed some buffer issues when loading textures from BSA archives (SK).
- General: Fixed wrong rendering when adding a new mesh while textures or lighting were disabled.
- BodySlide: Now sets the consistency type to mutable for all meshes built with morphs enabled (SK).

Merry Christmas all and a big Thumbs up Ousnius. Looking good you happen to have a shot of the topology you can share?

Something I've been wondering for a long time. What kind of work would it take to create a new face model? I'm assuming heads are still low poly, especially when compared to the new CBBE. What would a modeller have to do to create a head mesh that could complement the CBBE mesh?

I'm a modeler btw, I am simply ignorant of the difficulties involved in modifying base content of bethesda games.

To create a new head, you have to make sure:

1.) The UV map you're going to do on your mesh fits the Skyrim textures.

2.) The vertex seams on the neck fit up 100% correctly.

3.) You have to recreate every single facial morph (character creation) or facial expression from scratch for your new mesh (the .tri file).

Only Caliente has the mesh with the original quads, sorry. Can't really tell topology from a triangulated mesh properly. With a body made for morphing, the topology is very straight forward and often tube-like anyway, so that better morphs can be created. The navel got a few topology changes, though.

I guess that brings the next question, how are .tri files made, and are the tools reliable?

There are tools by Anton on the Nexus, but I've never used them or done morphs.

Thanks for taking the time to reply anyway Ousnius. I'm sure you have more pressing matters to attend atm lol.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to Ousnius, Caliente, Jeir and anyone else who has helped in continuing the best damn body mod on the Internet. The modding community would not be the same without you.

My process: Install BodySlide for Oldrim, then install Bodyslide for SSE over it, then install CBBE for Oldrim. It does work...

hi, i have a question:

Bodyslide didnt recognize the old CBBE in the new skyrim special? So i have to wait to the new CBBE to play with it?

My bodyslide is completely and totally empty... It doesn't see any presets, not even the vanilla bodies, or anything. I'm really confused...

The bodys are not finished yet. Caliente is working on the cbbe stuff right now, so we have to wait. but you can use a combination of the new and the old bodyslide with the old cbbe body stuff.

I have bodyslide presets from old CBBE installed, but Bodyslide isn't seeing anything, sorry if I was unclear.

im not sure how it works, but i think you have to do it like this:

1)install new Bodyslide SSE to skyrim SSE

2)copy old Bodyslide with the integrated cbbe stuff over the Bodyslide SSE

3) it should work.

Happy New Year 2017! :)

Caliente is working on finalizing the weighting for body, feet and hands.

I'm working on all the vanilla outfit conversions for the base shape (easily over 300 NIF files).

After that we'll finalize the sliders and add them to all the vanilla outfits.

Depending on what we want to do, there will be more work afterwards, but the most important parts will be done in a few weeks.
