But I do use HF houses a lot. With Jaxonz Positioner, you can do wonders with them. And I do appreciate the basement "vault." Even with Death Alternative and gold weight, I end up carrying more valuables than I, well, can quite literally carry. Having some sort of proper vault is quite nice. I also have a proper library to store all those damn books that I want to keep; including books added by adult mods. Heljarchen Hall also has a very nice location. Lydia gets very little sleep though. Gregor seems to like her. They could just as well sleep in the same bed... I also like my dumplings. I also like to stick a gag to Oriella's mouth, when she does not stop singing. Yeah, I have a mod to ask bards to take a break, but dealing with Oriella like this is more fun.
Guest Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 No one today plays a vanilla game. there is nothing to do in vanilla game, same boring NPC's with more boring quests. what i want to know is what will become of our kinky mods coz truth be told its the only reason im still playing skyrim but if the remastered is anything like fallout 4 ( meaning animation system is changed ) then we won't be able to play with sexlab mods and our other favourites mods. i simply won't be playing remastered bullshit if bethesda fucks this animation thing. Just talkin' here... 64 bit up to now has mostly been a crock, a marketing tool. [insert paragraph here about tons of memory you'll never need] Now, uh, if they copied or outright *stole* (With permission) from ENB and skse and maybe FNIS, that would be (what's a trendy superlative?)

All depends whether you want a copy of Skyrim Special Edition... 5 - 6 Euros is a lot cheaper than the full game will be. You don't have to activate the esm for Skyrim, though it will be included in SSE.

I have very many mods, for example, Body type, outfits, textures, etc The no longer get noticed, So there is 100% no chance this in SSE for me to see.

The specifically said the technology required for that is not available (you can think of it what you want but I suppose it has todo with VR being not available for every device they want TES 6 game running on, but probably only one small minor aspect, another one could be mobile gaming - try running Skyrim on a x86/x64-based phone/tablet to see what I mean). Even nowadays a modded Skyrim (32bit) even now can bring down a high-end graphics card, at least with ENBs. What I really don't understand why they did never fix the major issues in the game. From the announcements I have my doubts that SSE will have any of the other major issues solved that are not memory-related. Luckily the USLEEP team will in time solve most of these issues (I would not mind if they actively work with USLEEP team and bundle it with SSE).

prinyo Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Looking at what is going on I'm quite happy that Bethesda is releasing SSE. It is without a doubt a good thing that they are saving the most popular single-player game and helping it to survive. Microsoft is killing good old games with an alarming enthusiasm. If M$ was in charge of the music industry by now there would have been no traces left of Beatles, Deep Purple and so on. 1. First it was the limit to the VRAM imposed for no reason at all on all the Divx9 games. I have read everything on this topic on reddit, the Nvidia forum and the Microsoft bug tracker and so far nobody has come up with an explanation about that limit. We were lucky that there is the possibility to work around this limit and that someone actually created a tool to do it (ENB Boost) despite all the "experts" on the Nvidia forum dismissing the problem and saying we should let the old classic games die. If not for ENB Boost I and many many other people would have been unable to play Skyrim, Oblivion and FONV the way we do now. 2. Then it was the Windows 10 Anniversary Update that crippled games like Dragon age: Origins and The Witcher 1. Exiting those games now completely freezes the PC with hard reboot been the only solution. At the moment it is possible to fix TW1 by running it in compatibility mode. But for DA:O and other affected games the only solution is to exit via Alt+Tab. We can only expect things will get worse with the next Windows updates which is really sad, especially when talking about those 2 games. 3. Then came the new requirements MS imposed on the graphic card drivers. As a result games like FO3 and FONV can't even start when using the drivers from the last few months. Oblivion also suffers some graphical weirdness with those drivers. There is a workaround that works for some, but not for everyone. I'm keeping a 6 months old driver on my PC just so I can finish playing TTW (FONV) and after that the game will be lost for me, it seems, forever. So only in the past year Microsoft managed to cripple games like Oblivion, FO3 and FONV, DA:O, TW1. So far we are lucky that there are workarounds but we don't know what the next few Windows updates will bring. Also most of those workarounds requite tinkering that not many users will actually consider. In this situation I'm really happy that Skyrim will be able to survive. Whatever you might think of Bethesda, regardless of how much you might hate or mistrust them, releasing Skyrim SE is really good - for everyone.

A cursory glance at my post history here and elsewhere has been rather critical of Bethesda. As a game designer my issues with Bethesda (the publisher) and Bethesda (the game company) are pretty well backed up with 40 years of metrics, where the first rule is 'don't fuck your customers.' I have zero interest in changing your or anyone else's opinion, and I also have no plans on even downloading SSE until every single mod in my load order is 100% compatible, much less playing it. I already have a working version with models ranging from 12K to 50K for people, textures where 4K is the minimum, not the norm, and plenty of quests that don't randomly explode because a gnat in China farted like Blood on the Ice does, and plenty of interesting npcs to interact with, all presented with my very own ENB that exceeds the standards of most AAA games, much less SSE. You're still being haunted by ghosts that don't actually exist.

Do you know, for example, that they are probably working in a brand new engine? What's the status? The only thing I notice what YOU might have learned in 5 years is to overcome any embarrassment threshold for spamming threads with Pidgin-English. For me it only shows the extreme patience of native English speakers. But when you mix your spam with word-by-word translations of German idioms (like "peace, joy, Eggscakes!" or " look stupid from the laundry") then I can't hold back. Do you really think anyone does understand? Except for poor fellow Germans like me who feel embarrassed for being a German every time they stumble over your posts.
