Could you make the cell in the slavers home near riverwood into an actual cell, like the cages you have to buy, where slaves can't run away?

I think its part of PAHE or an addon. A small house called "Slaver's Hideout" .

You will have to do more searching.

Not part of PAHE, HSH, or AYGAS I ever heard of.

Track it down through SSEEEdit.

And if it is not a Musje mod - she won't be doing an addon for it.

Good Lordy - I found this:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33462/?

That was a mod done for the Layam original PAHE, as picked up by Strec.

Let it remain dead and forgotten.

Umm, so every time I try and tell one of my slaves to stay at any of my house cells, it tells me "you cannot keep any more slaves". Taking a slave with me allows me to then tell the slave to stay at the cell, but I'm confused. Is there a cap on the total number of slaves you can have staying at permanent cells? And if so, is there a way to increase it?

Yes, it's 50 slaves max, not counting the ones in the Hunter.

But you can transfer HSH slaves back to PAHE and keep them indefinitely that way. As I recall the limit in PAHE is 130.

The key is how many slaves can you have before script overload kills the engine.

A script-free holding cell (no scripts, no packages) would be nice for the excess.

I am sure "slave in training" ups the load. No idea how busy just slaves idling are.

the only issue I had with hearth craft and pahe is that the slaves won't/can't enter the door (all other followers/pets could follow you inside. but not slaves. so I had to teleport them inside and out)

so that would be something to keep in mind. (maybe the way pahe handles the followers could make this suggestion not viable )

So I installed this, and I have the same issue. I even had a slave run off / die when I entered the house.

The problem is the way the mod handles interiors. Instead of the normal mechanism of teleport markers linked to doors, the mod uses activators that look like doors and which run a script when clicked. The script teleports you to the interior, and presumable there's code to handle followers. But not slaves :(

Maybe it's fixable. You could place the door and exterior teleport marker in a dummy cell, then move them to the house when you place it. It should work correctly then. You might want to approach the mod author about that.

In a normal install on reasonable hardware, with tweaked script running parameters, and with ENBoost running, you should be able to go up to 50 PAHE slaves, 50 HSH slaves, and a bunch of Aygas slaves too (I got it up to 250).

thanks. but I didn't want you to fix that mod XD

my suggestion was to add a pre made cell for sell at the restless hunter. like install cell function, but using the separate room/house/cell concept of hearth craft.

as an example, when you tell Pardo to install a cell in your breezehome the cell takes the space of the kids room/ alchemy lab.

but if it was a trap door between that room and the dining room or a (teleport) door at the back, then you could have a training cell without sacrificing any space of the vanilla home.

also it could come with pre placed (or purchasable) equipment.

btw. I meant your take on the placement was the most optimized of the two.

placing a cell with the marker in your mood is easy and smooth.

placing a tiny chest with campfire can become an exercise of patience lol (it can become slow and clunky)

placing a house in whiterun with hearth craft, while making sure it's in the right position and you are not blocking npc's paths... it can take a while XD

(and don't get me started with chairs...)

as always thanks for your reply.

and keep up the good work (n_n)b

P.S. yeah I noticed hearth craft has a problem with the nav meshes. I think it received an update to fix some issues a while back. but companions and npcs tend to get stuck on the items. that's why I only use dwarven single beds for my barracks, and they are placed along the walls XD

I like the idea of Heartcraft, maybe I will take a stab at fixing it. There are also ways to fix the navmeshes but that'll be more work (and that will also be a nice fix to apply to HSH so that people will navigate around the placed equipment)

I wasn't a big fan of having a separate training cell into which you'd have to teleport, because slaves tend not to follow you there, but if the cell is integral to HSH this can be fixed. I will consider adding something like that but for now I prefer single-cell homes with no teleports, like the Skyfall mansion (even if they tax the marker system of HSH a little bit)

Well there is a simple fix. The house interiors simply need to be "grounded" into the Tamriel worldspace by adding a paired set of doors to the interior and some random place in Skyrim. After that, slaves follow you inside.

I'll post a patch laters.

I guess you really liked the idea XD

if so I might recommend a spot. the farmhouse (the one with the basement) almost click into place to the side of the stables in whiterun between that and the unused wooden deck.

and you get a small dirt road leading to it too XD

so you can merrily hop out of the carriage and into your home, that is just a few steps away

I just can't remember if during the siege of whiterun enemies spawn directly there or just close.

I'm trying out the new pahe 7.31 SSE converted by CliftonJD but the dialog for the slave entertainment is not showing up. It's stuck with "go back to your cell", Not even "I want you to do entertainment".

Here is the Papyrus log, The load order is pretty much basic with Zaz, Sexlab, USLEEP, Skyui, HSH, AYGAS, FNIS and Alternate start. Hope this helps.

@Musje I have a request. I would like to see the number of house tokens increased to fifteen. Specifically this makes one for each house you can own in the Skyrim holds, one for Severin Manor, one for each of the four guilds of which you can become Master - and thereby own a new bed (Companions, College of Winterhold, Thieves' Guild and Dark Brotherhood), one for the Abandoned House in Markarth (which I have fairly consistently used as a training ground) and one more as a "spare." Through the course of events an interest building (like Erikur's house or Bryling's) becomes unoccupied and it allows trying out some different things.

If you seriously consider doing that I would also like to see the total slaves increased to an average of 5 per house cell token for a total of 75. I know I have said nothing about Wilderness Camps but I honestly have not found a use for them in my play style.

Anyway, thank you for any consideration that you give these requests.

That's a very good request, with excellent reasoning.  Please don't ban the idea out of hand  ?

Hello! Playing on SE but I can't remember if I used your SE version or if I ported it from LE. Anyway, I seem to CTD as soon as I enter restless hunter.

I was wondering, is it safe to uninstall the version I have and use your new SE port mid-game without a problem?

Now some questions. I use Lakeview Manor's cell as my "home", with EinarrTheRed's Hearthfire Dungeon Addon.

Since I can't get to restless hunter, I used the console to get a cell token. The problem that I get is that if you have too many slaves they just don't fit in the cell anymore. If I try to make another cell the game won't let me. I was wondering if there is an option to let them "hang around" somewhere else so it doesnt' get so cramped.

Musje, thank you for setting slaves from death while in training. my ratio was like 8 out of 10 deaths of new trained slaves. This will make game play a bit more forward progress now ;)

It should be safe to do so.

It's not so easy to let them hang around somewhere else... they tend to remember their old lives and wander off ;)

Why won't the game let you make another cell?

Actually I misspoke, it does let me create another cell, they just don't got there! Only my taskmistress goes there for some reason.

Now that I mentioned it, is there a reason to have more than one taskmistresses?
