this mod is a mystery to me

What that does is saves the NPC in a json file that the mod will use to pull up potential buyers for the slave auction. Also if you have done this and then start the game with the Maria quick start mod you can start off as the slave or whore of one those saved NPCs.

 

If you are interested in making an NPC a pimp. Then you need to select the dialogue choice "I want to make money really quick" (or something like that). If you want them to be your Dom follower, then choose "I want to submit to you and be your slave" (again not an exact quote.)

still got one problem though, somehow i can't enter the auction scene, nerther by starting a new game nor using console, would there be any difference if I just simply chose to become a slave through the dialogue?

A couple of things come to mind...

 

Do you have METraining and Auctions installed?

 

When starting a new game, usually before stuff fully loads, there will be a popup in German that lists two locations. Selecting one of those should teleport the player to one of the auction locations. 

 

Also, there are two action menus that you can use during the game. One is a body position menu, the other is an activity menu. In the Activity menu there is a cheating option. Selecting that will bring up another menu, one of which you can use to goto another location, like one of the auction houses.

 

Do you have debug options turned on in the Maria MCM menu? It needs to be turned on if you want to select what activities occur (like being sold as a slave) instead of being at the tender mercies of the mod. So you could whore yourself to an Innkeeper. Then ask her if she had a special job for you. The debug menu should come up listing all of the various activities. Look towards the bottom, being sold should be an option.

so, how to start? what to instal?

 

i managed somehow to start slave trainer, auction, even some brothel (with installed all files from downloads), but there are weird long pauses, quests or dialogues getting stuck.

question: i need to have ALL outfits specified? thinking about it, probably yes, just asking because its quite long of time spent for (probably) no results

 

when npc walks, my pc follows, its weird, on stairs she gets stuck often etc, npc get stuck on some object, teleports 2m behind it after some time...

Example, i was locked in cell, waiting like ages, then something pops up, with choices - i click luxury house, so npc comes to my cell, walks towards that device (gets stuck in mid of walk, then unstucks. Then i am on device, and what? I clicked whip another slave, and then, waited like 10 min, nothing. Tried waiting (T) ingame, didnt help.

 

tried another start, auction, i got stuck after "open legs and show clitoris" nothing, i dont know what to do.

 

tried another start, in some brothel, somehow managed to make whore outfit, so start worked, some woman led me to bed, had client, animations heavily clipped to bed, then it got stuck.

 

to clarify - stuck, as in, i dont know how long i have to wait, until something happens, but few minutes is enough imo, and pretty fun breaking, sometimes i waited longer

 

All this just makes me not confident if it works as it should. I had this same experience with prison overhaul, never got it working (or this is how it works? i just have to be patient???? i really dont know)

 

 

I am using only mods what author specified, zaz sexlab etc all latest versions with dependencies - only extras i have enb+ele lite+rls, unp outfits and some shoes. From ME - i had installed all from downloads, except that german version. Thats all. Can someone help with my hopelesness? All those descriptions etc looks really great, but... feels like this is mod only for people who edit it, and make it working????

 

 

In general, some guide, and less confusion, would be really great. I am not pro, but not that stupid, just no idea, how to figure how this thing works.

 

Edit: one more thought, do i need to have german version installed prior to english?

Some words about the future of MEP:

 

During MariaEden development I and nameless701 have rebased our mods to BDSMMechanics (the successor of ZEP) and tufp - that was a lot of work.

Now t.ara switched back to Zaz and will likely drop tufp (makes sense from his view point) - therefore there is a chance that I will drop MEP - I don't have the energy to rebase BDSMMechanics again.

Yeah, I totally see your point. I was quite surprised by the release of this ZaZ AP v8. I also included tufp furniture in my next version of Wolfclub and I am definitely not eager to replace all the furniture again. And it is like much less work than what you are facing.

 

Maybe t.ara will support both packs simultaneously?

 

Edite: Ah, I have read his instructions and he recommends to uninstall tufp and offset pack. I don't want to criticise his work, but this is really shortsighted behaviour. Lot of mods were already built upon his tufp and this is time put in vain to rebuild upon new dependency.

It's a bit of a shame, I was really excited for the new version, but I can see how redoing something multiple times can burn someone out. Still, everything you achieved and gave to this community is pretty amazing, so thanks for that, and good luck on all your future projects. :D

I will release 2.5 for tufp but then I will stop. If someone adds all necessary keywords to Zap I might consider to rebase and continue - adding support for the new DD was on my long term plan.

Rebasing is easy with TesEdit scripts, but adding keywords is a hard job.

Hi zaria thx for your work. It's pity to see such a hard situation with your awesome mod work. will you also drop ZEP project on zap8.0 unless someone adds all necessary keywords?

Do you still plan to add deadly function for zap8.0 furnitures like guillotine(it in zap8.0 won't chop victim's head) or gallow?

looking forward to your reply and hope one day your mods will resurrect again. :)

I did not spend a year of hard work to put everything into trash - I will release a open alpha version (German) hopefully this year - currently MEP is feature complete and I am fixing the blocker bugs.

Stage 1 : release MEP 2.5 alpha with tufp dependency

Stage 2 : switch from tufp to ZEP + ZAP 7

Stage 3 : (when the new DD is stable) - drop my own armor framework and switch to Devious Devices

Is there any planned comparability with Alternate Start - Live another Life? I know Maria Eden is intended to overshadow the main story quest and such, but I love getting my character into many different scenarios, and Life Another Life (especially with it's Devious add-ons and such) is simply superb. Unfortunately, it looks like something in Maria Eden overwrites LaL's startup - just was wondering if there'd be a way to let them both work together. Thanks!

If you don't install the MariaQuickStart.esp you can choose to start vanilla or LAL or whatever you like

 

Support for Devious Devices will probably come when the new DD version is released and when it is stable.

So I actually upgraded to ZAP 8.0, does that mean this mod won't work for me?

No - MEP will work with ZAP 8 - but it won't use every new furniture in it's quests.

 

The next MEP (2.5) is still based on tufp. After the release I adapt ZEP and switch to ZAP + ZEP.

If you ask your follower to be your owner does it cause issues when paired with AFT?  I remember using this and AFT and after switching to dom my follower would sometimes act weird, like not being able to initiate dialogue, and was wondering if the follower mod was the issue or it was just part of this mod.

The easiest way around any compatibility problems with LAL mod and ME mod is to let the author of simple slavery handle it because in LAL mod there is support for simple slavery and simple slavery had support for ME mod so if that author updates their mod to handle the new ME mod then all you have to do at the beginning of LAL mod is choose the simple slavery auction start and make sure your only outcome for simple slavery is set to ME mod and nothing else before starting.

Thanks! I have two questions. First, is there any way to prevent NPCs from sandboxing into player-added furniture? Also, my PC was supposed to be sold a at the riften auction house, but no one showed up even though I have several potential pimps? That a known bug or something?

I have had the same issue. I sorted out a few potential owners by speaking to them in advance but they didnt show up. Most inconvenient! I had arranged nibbles and punch and everything !
