Had something similar when i had some bad gfx files in the game still from an older version.  Thing is.. we are up to 2.6.2+ and have been for some time. .. so its also possible if you have not updated.. yet you are using the latest version of this mod which i think is 2.6.2 compat.. you may be introducing issues there.

Nope I updated to the latest version of CK2(2.6.3) with all the dlcs and the same thing happens. I realized I had the old version of Dark World installed so that might be the issue.

Im not sure, if this is bug... but it's inda annoying.

Does anyone have bug, where your heir is untargetable at your character page?

And also overlaps character portrait?

I have all the Dark world mods. And also Dark world: Toska. BUT i tried it without all other mods... and well it looks like bug in Dark world. I'll try to give a screenshot. I reinstalled the game :/

1. The latest version is 2.6.3.

2. All DLC include the otherwise not obtainable DLC for registering the original version of CK2 at Paradox.

3. The chance is rather high you have other mods enabled, for example AGOT which does not play nice with the portrait module.

4. You have Problems with the portraits so I assume you have tried playing without the portrait module but with the rest of DW, did you?

1. Yep, I know about 2.6.3, but due several other mods I stopped the update. I really prefer stable mods over original game. Plus I wasn't sure, if Dw is working with 2.6.3.

2. Well, what to say. Gameplay is better with every Dlc. But i dont know about unobtainable mods.

3. No other mods, really. Whole game is messed up with agot and DW.

Plus playing agot is bad idea. From 2.6.x is game super buggy.

I have this bug with dark world.

4. Nope. I play with every Dw mod, including portrait mod.

 

I'll try to replicate the bug again. And add screenshot.

Problem is just heir portrait overlaping over my ruler. Bug also does same with every character in game.

Yes DW works with 2.6.3.

When you have a problem with the portraits and aside from Dark World you have nothing else installed something is off. On your game that is, the mod works fine on it's own i.e. with no mods in some way interfering.

 

And by the way with 'unobtainable' I meant there is no legal way to acquire one DLC than to register the game with Paradox. It does not even show in the steam library, only in the DLC tab of the launcher. And missing said DLC fucks up some portraits.

Nevertheless this mod is part of "All DLC" and thus the remark.

Good to know about 2.6.3.

Yep, something is really off about it. It's not serious, like crashes, rather annoying, when you cant see half of character. I'm kinda perfecionist :/

 

About dlcs. Well... Everyone has to be ready for new content. It gets boring without them. But every patch messes up whole mods.

When is the content for this mod supposed to kick in? I just installed it, enabled it in the launcher, but nothing seems to have changed.

 

Never modded this game, is there something more I have to do to get it working?

The content of the mod 'kicks in' right after starting the game.

Namely if you bring up the decisions for your spouse/lover you see the point "spend time with".

Some time after the game started (existing save) NPC around the world have dicks and tits. If a new game is started NPC's get those at game start, PC takes some time.

If a new game is started at the first day there is an intrigue decision.

I'm new to CK2 so I'm probably just not doing it right,  thanks.

 

Just open the intrigue tab, Youll find a descision there called: DW Campaign Style Selection. Click that. And follow the pop ups.

I am new in mod and I have doubts in two things about blood moon I did not step step one and on prostitution I would like to know how to know how to modify it so that my character is picked up as selectable by the ai when asked by prostitutes.

I am at a loss what you mean with the first question to begin with.

For the second part of the question: You don't. It is not possible in the current version and likely will not be implemented/possible in the future.

You did notice the Blood Moon is an intrigue decision activateable when

A) you are a Succubus or Incubus

B) it is May or June

C) you are not at war

 

Blood Moon is canceled when a war breaks out.

And due to a bug it is not activateable in the years after unless a certain flag gets deleted via cheat.

Would it be possible to have the game generate new futas or randomly assign it to new NPCs? Besides the exotic merchant event and my own family breeding they don't seem to really occur in the world much. It'd be cool if they popped up on their own more often.

I just wanted to say how much I love this mod, and how it's made me completely addicted to CK2, it really is great and I wanted to say thanks to everyone who had a hand in improving it.

 

Playing as an absurdly inbred werewolf clan plotting to rule all of Europe is a lot more fun than I'd expected.

Hm. Is it just me or does being a Merchant Republic bug out decisions related to Dark World's commerce add-on? By bug out, I mean they don't even pop up even though conditions are met.

It would actually, all you need to do is go to the Traits document in the core mod and replace the {random = no} with {random = yes} without the brackets.

 

Just removing the ramdon = no or commenting it with a # will do the trick as well, since random = yes is the default.

Second - I've a lot of little updates, and I'm going to release them this weekend. Nothing real awesome, just small things, so check the release notes before updating anything - especially since the Core update will break Save Games.

 

I was hoping to have them up before the New Year, but family was over at the house, and for some reason my office where I do my work was the popular room to hang out in.

It's possible that I've forgotten parts of my mod - but I don't believe slave raids is something related to a Dark World mod that I've created.

 

I think I can fix the court jester piece off the top of my head. I'll need to take a look at the others.
