Encountering a weird bug, shortly after starting up a game, I get four black event screens. The only mods I am using is the Dark World Reborn set and I'm playing CK2 edition 2.6.3.

Post a screenshot of your load order. This usually happens when you're using an out of date mod. Though like all bugs and crashes, it could be rooted to a mod conflict.

Dark World 1.25 removed in full (to my knowledge), problem still occuring

EDIT: Just brute forced my way through all the packages, looks like something was wrong with Courts and Commerce. Replaced it, everything appears to be working correctly.

I know in the old 1.25 version, the higher level Succubus had a spell to turn themselves into a futa.  Is that still available in the current version now?  I don't think so but I wanted to ask here in case one of my mods is not triggering properly.

Dark world itself isn't complete as old one was. Reaper due f****d up the game.

And in reborn manytmanythings are missing.

I'm not sure; but futalization is amongs them. Not sure, tho. I remember some self targeted option with "shaping" something.

Many things are missing... like spell book, summoning ritual, exotic Emporeum and more.

Correct me, if I'm wrong, guys.

 

If you are desperate to have cuts character as succubus, you could add it via console commands. He sure to add futunari trait and character flag.

I have almost all modes and submodes (not the dickgirls) CK2 version 2.6.1, but no reliigion of Lilith's is in my game. Is something wrong or?  Otherwise,everything works perfectly. I played about 20 years in my game so far as succubus Matilda with super huge tits, haha.

Religion of Lilith is missing in this version. Since its pretty large work to do, it hasn't been added to new Dark World Reborn.

 

If you want more stable gameplay, in cost of new content from reaper due or other mods... thren...

 

Downgrade your CK2 to 2.5.2

Download old Dark world v1.25 and start playing.

Old version contains everything.

 

Sure, Lilith religion will be re-added to game (I hope), but first Dew must first have time to do so.

 

And yeah, I would recommend to upgrade to 2.6.3, if you want to play Reapers due. Most of mods are upgraded to this one.

It would seem that the option to enslave prisoners is being with held from republics. The Enslave a Prisoner decision does not seem to check for the dw_slave_market city buildings. It is only checking the castle, nomad and tribal  slave dungeons.

Hey Dew. I was doing my usual dissection of events and stuff and noticed something about spawning NPCs. You can give the potential character a trait, but if the trait doesn't exist nothing happens. There's no glitch or bug of any kind from a missing trait. So say you're wondering about one of the sub-mods, you can add a trait from one of those to some of the main module NPCs for compatibility or some events that may rely on something and it wouldn't cause any issue if the trait just didn't happen to be there. NPC wouldn't have it and event wouldn't fire.

 

An example is that I read in your notes that you think Belle's butt is more prominent. Simply add "trait = ass_large" and if someone has a mod that adds ass sizes, Belle automatically gets it and requires no modification or patch.

 

This also works if you ever split up traits into separate files. Like when you reintroduce the Lilith religion that may need traits or something. I remember you saying you'd keep a file up that lacked that update for compatibility. 

 

PS. Can you give us a hint about more stuff in the works or are you still keeping things for surprise?

 

I don't foresee me adding traits like that as I don't use the mods that provide them. Since I don't use them, I'm not familiar with what traits are available, nor their trait codes, and I've no desire to hunt down and discover that information currently.

 

To be honest, if I was that interested, I'd just incorporate ass traits myself (and I pondered it, even posted about it in the early stages of Dark World, don't recall if it was pre-Reborn or not though).

Which race is that? What do we have in the game so far? And how to get them?

 

 

It isn't in yet. Plans are to introduce it with an upcoming DW:CoC update.

 

Which to answer a question posed by someone else, DW:CoC is my next upcoming small update most likely.

 

The race is intended to be sort of a Were-Platypus. And it's inclusion is one of those internal jokes between myself and someone I know.

Well, it was some time ago, when I posted here... and also on pages of one submod. It was advised to me posting my ideas or various tweaks here, rather then on submod section.

Just wanted to let you know that I only read the first couple of things, scanned a couple more, then stopped reading.

 

Only because I already have a wall of things that I'd like to add in someday, and some of what you've mentioned is already things that I'd like to get around to doing anyway. And those things that aren't on my 'to-do' list, well, I'd like to trim it down before adding more - since I often add more already as it is by myself.

 

I do appreciate your sharing it though. It's cool to see the ideas flow, even if my plate is rather full itself.

Are you aware of the existing in game death by platypus event (added with Reaper's Due)?  ;)

The next update isn't going to be a big one, but it does have what will be the basics of my arena plans.
 
In a nutshell, you'll be able to visit the arena (or similar structure if it's been built) and just watch the day's event, wager on an event, or work with your own stable.
 
The release just has one watch event and one wager event.
 
The stable part is honestly on the fence, as I can see where it may be more complex than what I'd be able to give due justice. So it might be culled before I release the update.

what are you thoughts on DW's dependencies on CK2 DLCs? Seeing how Monks and Mystics are introducing a sort of "personal inventory" feature, I thought it'd be neat to incorporate the DW's Arena/Gladiator Slave feature into it, giving you a chance to "customize" your favorite gladiator/gladiator slave. However, I do seem to recall that you wanted to keep the DW as DLC-feature-free as it can be so the people who do not wish to spend $160+ on a 5-years old game can still enjoy your mods. So I just wanted to hear where you are drawing lines on that issue. Thanks for the update.

Ultimately it'll depend on the DLC. So far, whenever DLC was released, the base game was updated with new features separate from the DLC.

 

I only began reading up on the upcoming DLC this past week, and I'm curious to see the impact it'll have on the mods once it's released.

It should be save game compatible. In theory. :)

 

Usually it's updates to the Core that you need to worry about.

 

Like the next one I'm working on related to the Core, it'll once again be a save breaker, but it's probably a couple weeks out. It's also going to signify a radical shift in the mod structure overall. The shift being that it was easy for me to handle separate mini-mods where people could pick and choose their tastes, but since I'm not modding it as frequently, it's becoming more troublesome to recall what is where. On a positive side, I've got it worked out how I should be able to consolidate things and still give folks the option to deactivate certain kinds of things if they're not interested in seeing it. Everything won't be consolidated at once, but most releases should see more and more consolidated after this next one.

 

Regarding how folks will be able to pick and choose their tastes, I'm simply going to expand the intrigue decision used for the campaign start. I'm also going to begin expanding on the start options, giving folks the chance to tap into some of those rare or unused traits that I've got sitting around in the mod.

But one thing... Most important. Could you please, In next update, nerf a Blood moon event? I mean, yeah... it's orgy. But getting constantly drunkard and homosexual on every single court member is pretty harsh.

50% chance of these bad traits seem to be little to high. I mean, if it was 15-20%, hell yeah, it would be great.

It's kinda weird, when your spouse says "fuck it, I'm lesbian now" and suddenly becomes homosexual

Alright that was a really quick post before I headed out for the evening.

 

What I mean by that is I think your request about the Blood Moon event is fair, and that while I won't say for certain that it'll make it in the next cut, I do think it's worth doing, so feel free to bug me about it again if it's not in the next change log.
