Balgin Posted January 7 Posted January 7 (edited) The only issue I have with Beeing Female is that you can use it's debug menu to give yourself a menstrual cycle during or after the follower of Dibella quest to sneakily get pregnant. It's best to have some kind of rationale behind this such as doing Brelyna's quest where she casts a load of Alteration spells on you and believing that something about the magic turning you back into a woman sort of magically correctly assumes what the inside organs are like as well. Wait, are you using Beeing Female or Beeing Female NG? I think NG might not work on LE so I'm not using it and there might be differences in how it handles things. Edited January 7 by Balgin
jfraser Posted January 7 Posted January 7 i'm using AE and Beeing Female NG (that's what i meant by "the new one" )

funtimemaz Posted January 8 Posted January 8 so i have a problem which im not sure how to solve exactly. i discovered that when i get my characters hair cut, the game can't start up anymore from that point on. obviously if i play on it works normally but when the game has to start up again it won't. i haven't downloaded any new mods and did have a look in my load order where the hair mods load after yps. and on that note aswell i think the hair has never grown in this gameplay while several in-game days have passed.

Yeah my skyrim is hella bugged. Was making progress last time it didnt even started the quest for hair. Now it does, but also I got to deal with freezes and ctds somehow I dont know what exactly is making my skyrim broke.

Are you trying to run a load of script heavy mods at once such as trying to run YPS, BOS, Devious Followers, SBC and Hormones all at the same time? That'd pretty much kill the game for anyone.
Serverscrying Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Are arched feet/cinderella feet bugged? Or rather how does the mod decide whether a shoe is a high heel or not. It keeps unequipping my high heels even tho I literally got the cinderella feet thanks to them.

Then you need to check what height the heels actually are in HighHeelHDT or the other high heel mod (can't remember what it's called right now).

So I do need another mod for high heels to be recognised properly by the arched feet setting? I've set high heel height to 4.5 in YPS's MCM and apparently it was enough to train me up to arched feet with the same pair of shoes which is this pair Spoiler clearly should be high enough but it keeps giving me a notification that my arched feet don't fit normal shoes anymore. I'll just reequip these shoes and it works fine. The moment I equip another item like an armor or gloves it seems to bug out and forget that these are high heels and unequips them. 0b5d14_b60d429e08064764b6de983d4ec5a65d~mv2.avif

The mod will still recognise them as high heels but it won't forcibly unequip them. If gloves are conflicting that's very strange. You might have a slot conflict somewhere.

If boots do not carry the keywords needed for the mod this may also cause problems. Can be checked via SEEdit and edited.
MysticDaedra Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I'd still love the option to manually set the hair check time. Currently we only have once per day (once every ~20m based on timerate) or once every 20 seconds. Especially on a heavier and longer save, frequent hair check starts to cause noticeable stutters/freezes while it processes. Being able to set that to a chosen amount of time that is faster than once per in-game day and slower than once every 20 seconds would be a godsend.
AylaElfie Posted January 17 Posted January 17 (edited) I love this mod, but it doesn't exactly make an effort to be very compatible. I will probably be making a patch hub soon for the cells it modifies. The cells it modifies are as follows: The Hall of Attainment (College of Winterhold) The Mortar and Pestle (Dawnstar) Gray Pine Goods (Falkreath) Vilemyr Inn (Ivarstead) Temple of Dibella (Markarth) Moorside Inn (Morthal) Morvayn Manor (Raven Rock) Haelga's Bunkhouse (Riften) The Bee and Barb (Riften) Riverwood Trader (Riverwood) Rorik's Manor (Rorikstead) The Winking Skeever (Solitude) Radiant Raiment (Solitude) Arcadia's Cauldron (Whiterun) Breezehome (Whiterun) The White Phial (Windhelm) Birna's Oddments (Winterhold) The Frozen Hearth (Winterhold) If anyone has patch requests, feel free to send them my way, I plan to start with compatibility for HS Interiors and COTN/Redbag Interiors. I don't believe that this mod should rule out some of these great interior mods Edited January 17 by AylaElfie

I don't believe that this mod should rule out some of these great interior mods Your offer to produce patches to make interior modification mods compatible with yps is commendable, but I think you might reconsider your criticism that "it doesn't exactly make an effort to be very compatible". The original mod, yps, where most of the cell modifications in your list take place, has been around since1/15/2016, a bit over ten years. Given the age of the original release, is it even fair to suggest that it's Emily's responsibility to patch her mod? A quick, non-inclusive check of the various interior overhaul mods (JK's Interior overhaul mods, HS Interior overhaul mods) shows that many (maybe all) were created post-yps release. Seems to me that it should have been those modders' responsibility to ensure compatibility, not Emily. YMMV

What I was trying to say is that it's simply not easy to drop this mod in a big list without creating some issues. This mod provides a fashion framework and niche that can't be found anywhere else, but it being on LL instead of nexus ultimately leads to less exposure, and consequently less patch support. The unfortunate reality is that nexus mods are practically never going to have patches for LL mods, as I'm sure most of these interior modders do not use/aren't aware of this mod. I want to make it so that you don't have to choose between nexus or LL mods. I'm more surprised that seemingly no one has yet made any patches. 10 years is a long time, and the modding scene sometimes moves crazy fast!

And you are right that it's not easy. I further agree that modders who pt their mods on Nexus seem to be, as a group, unaware of LL. Although I would note that recently I have seen a least some modders on Nexus acknowledging the existence of LL and pointing to it as a source of adult mods. Seems that Nexus is providing more adult themed mods that previous and as a result, some modders that used to only provide mods on LL are now also putting their product on Nexus, and in some cases pointing users who are interested in adult mods towards LL. 1
exploringedges Posted January 20 Posted January 20 (edited) I'm running into an issue with new characters where I can choose the character's hair length and hair color, but not their starting hairstyle. YPS auto-assigns a style as if the hair had already grown out. I know this should be possible because I've done it in the past. I put YPS very late in my load order to avoid conflicts but that doesn't seem to have fixed the issue. xEdit didn't reveal any obvious conflicts, either. Any idea what could be causing this to happen? Edited January 20 by exploringedges
thorax339 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) Can anyone tell me where YPS gets hair colour from? ive been messing with the tails in Being a Cow SE and trying to re add the brown tufts to the ends of the tail from LE which can take on hair colour using hair tint however YPS doesn't use hair tint and the changes it makes does not reflect on the tail. (hair tint with YPS gets set as 0 or black which just ends up with no colour change) Image from outfit studio. Tails used "Hair Tint" shader. Ideally id like to be able to somehow set that as the same as what YPS uses at the time to mimic the colour onto the tail. Any help is appreciated Nvm im dumb. it does work. its just the tails only update their colour once per session and all i had to do was go back to main menu and load back in again for it to update. keeperofthegloom Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) Hi all, new to this mod. Let me know if further info is needed here. I'm coming up empty in Slavetats (SE 1.3.9) with any YPS stuff (makeup, piercings, etc.). Nothing shows up automatically when I apply lipstick/eyeshadow and there are no options in the Slavetats menu. Plenty of slots to work with. Also, fingernail colors show up but I'm not able to get extensions. I can start another manicure, but that just removes the old one and applies the new one (very possible I'm just misunderstanding how that system works). Edit to add: the color shows up in 3rd person but is always black when I see my hands in first person. Using YPS Immersive Fashion 6.9.2 and SoundTexturePackage 241123 SE. Also using CBBE 3BA for my body if that matters. Thanks for any info! Edited January 21 by keeperofthegloom

You need Engine Fixes for the color to show up properly in first person.

Additionally, the short ones work fine but I get CTD when equipping the long ones. And which Engine Fixes are those? Sorry if that's on the main mod page and I just missed it Edited January 22 by keeperofthegloom
