I go around, doing her errands, supposedly things should happen ( makeup should be visible when i apply it and all ), but nothing really happens, it remains a dude, i just progress in the quest

You may need to activate the racemenu from the console. This can happen sometimes in gender swap mods. The script fails to trigger. 

 

Open Console via the tilde key on UK keyboards it is the ` button next to number 1 along the top row. Type in showracemenu. Then close console by pressing the ` key again.

And, the gender change script is supposed to happen as soon as i wear the bra thing, right? So at that point i activate the racemenu code on the command prompt?

As soon as you wear the bra and belt (regardless of which you put on first). Put both on and close the inventory then the script should trigger.

So if by doing this, the script doesn't trigger, then i would need to open racemenu, right?

Correct. You'd need to open Racemenu and turn into a woman. Afterwards you'd get some more notification messages and events would trigger such as rapid hair growth.

Have you spoken to the woman who gives you the belt? It should update informing you about the change in gender and there will be no going back. Then update to say Speak with Lela again.

Yeah I'm stuck at the same part. Opened showtacemenu to turn in to a woman, then no script happens. Just hair growth notification  from yps. Cant move to next part

Did you go back to see Lena? The mod doesn't always provide instructions as to what to do next. Check the Quest section of SkyUI to see if there are instructions there.

Is there anyway mid game to edit  this value? Only able to even find it by using "SQV yps02heels" but it doesn't seem to be a var that can be swapped to false?

I had this problem as well. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. I finally had the idea to go into the mod's sound files and see if I could narrow down the sound I was hearing every 30 seconds. I found it. It's the mod's growth sound playing over and over every 30 seconds.  The only solution to fix it that I could find was to delete the growth sound wave file. The specific one I'm referring to is in the sound file you are required to download with the main mod.

I see some conflicts with Devious Devices, such as zad_plugIronAnAA under Armor Addon. Should I patch these, or simply allow YPS to overwrite?

Not getting hair growth when trying to enable it outside of bodyhair. Playing on AE with all known requirements installed.

When you say that you are not getting hair growth, are you talking about pubic hair, armpit hair or head hair? Head hair only grows immediately following the RaceMenu change from male to female, it starts at a fairly short length and grows to "Classic Length", i.e. down to your butt. It's locked after that until fairly late in the quest when you go to Riften to see the hair stylist there. From then on, it grows at the rate set in the MCM. Pubic and armpit hair grow based on the settings in the MCM. Well, pubic hair goes to level 5 since you can't shave it since your groin is encased in the Belt of Feminine whatever (still can't remember the correct name). This changes once your PC undergoes the final sex change surgery. Meanwhile, you are periodically reminded by the game to shave your armpits.

 

Now,, having bored you with a long winded explanation of how hair grows in the Dibella quest, are you saying that you aren't seeing any hair growth at all? What hair mods do you have installed? You need these because YPS doesn't have any hair textures in the mod.

I have a quick question, I'm running this mod as well as BoS and I'm trying to figure out which one is limiting my nail choices. I have the Bimbo curse as well as lvl 13 Fashion Addiction. When I suppress the curse I expected to be able to be able to choose nail lengths shorter than 25mm but it is still the only option. I tried disabling nail addiction in YPS as well as Fashion Addiction entirely but I'm still limited. I've tried disabling all the nail and YPS-related MCM options in BoS as well but am still locked.

 

Sorry if this has been answered, I keep up with the BoS thread fairly actively so I'm more aware of what has/hasn't been covered but I don't frequent this thread as much and a quick search didn't get me anything.

That's a tricky one. It's easy to miss the "Restrict Bimbo Nail Colour Choices" option in the Nails page of the YPS MCM but the nail length limit is more of a BOS thing. You might be able to get around it by disabling Force Bimbos to visit the Nail Salon on the same nails page (which, once disabled, might allow you to choose shorter lengths once again).

First off, Head Hair growth ultimately starts when you enable it and choose to set your hair length. Second off, I currently have all supported hairstyles as vaguely mentioned when I said "have all known requirements installed". Third, I'm referring to head hair as I choose "classic" length when I enable and choose to change my hair color to something specifically from YPS to ensure it actually changes and nothing is happening. Slavetats is at least functioning to supply bodyhair at the start and selected growth intervals. Finally, I do apologize for being vague in original post but I was headed to bed when I posted.

Idk if there is a know fix for this but for some reasons stockings/nylons only show on my feet, but work jsut fine on npcs and go up the leg like they should.

Edit: i tried it on a fresh character and it displays properly so idk whats going on, the Only thing i can think of off the top of my head is that Sould gem oven's body morphs are messing with it but i dont even know if thats how that works.

Im having an issue where overlays from this mod the makeup and nylons and a couple other mods only show for a couple seconds on save load and then my character returns to the appearance they had on character creation the hair seems to work though. Has anyone had a similar issue and any clues on how to fix? I did increase max overlays already.

During the Dibella quest, the hair keeps changing from sky6066 or whatever it is (classic length, level 15), to one of the vanilla skyrim hairstyles, even though I'm using a .json that only uses SMP hairs. There are no vanilla hairs selected... it happens automatically occasionally, even after I go back into racemenu and change it back. Again, this is during the quest, my character is just about to return to Urag after "removing" the makeup.

Hate to mention it but, while the sound can be annoying, it's not a bug... that's how Emily designed it. Just pretend it's your armor scraping against itself.

The newest update actually mentions that it supposedly removed growth sounds, so it's possible that didn't work.

Source? This makes no sense, logically or able to be inferred during gameplay. Presumably the growth sound is the hair growing... which happens exactly one time early on in the quest. For the sound to keep playing even when nothing is happening to the player character... again, makes no sense.

This does make sense, that it was a bug rather than a design choice. Maybe I should update; in the meantime, I've renamed the file so that the sound doesn't play.
