  1. View File Immersive Makeup, Piercings, Hair Growth and Styling ( = Yolie’s Devious & Immersive Fashion v. 6.0.0) This is a mod adding several "fashion" features. You need to apply these features in an immersive way, such as: visiting the hairdresser to get a hair cut, perm or hair dye getting your ears pierced before being able to wear earrings apply nail polish from nail polish bottles finger by finger, toe by toe use lipstick and eye shadow, which will wear off over time high heel training (with normal heels and devious boots) armpit/pubic hair growth and hair shaving These features may cause addiction, arousal and have other special side effects. (everything can be enabled/disabled in the MCM menu) This mod is made for human female player characters (preferably CBBE body), though many features will work on non-humans, or male characters as well. Direct link to download page V. 6.0.0: NEW QUEST: "THE FOLLOWER OF DIBELLA" The male protagonist faces a series of strange events and coincidences, while being slowly transformed into a beautiful girl. Will (s)he be able to cope with the challenges and become a true “Follower of Dibella”, or end up being utterly frustrated? Though some DD items are used in this quest, it is mostly consensual, and a bit funny as well. This is a realistic (low fantasy) quest, using magic only sparsely. Current status of this quest is ALPHA (next version will require a fresh save with YPS 5.x or less). About half of the quest is done. (Last stage is when it tells you to have a walk in town.) DD is required for this quest. This quest is for males *only* (who will be turned into girls soon enough). To start the quest, look for Lena Golvo in the Hall of Attainment (College of Winterhold) ---- MAIN MOD FEATURES (Release Version 5.4.1) ---- Immersive Hair Styling Head hair will slowly grow over 19 stages, from bald to ankle length. At default speed, you need to wait for 1-3 in-game months before you reach the next hair length stage. At each hair length stage, a different selection of hairstyles becomes available. About 820 hair styles from "KS Hairdo's" and some other hair mods are preconfigured (you still need to install the original hair mods though). There are different kinds of hairstyles: Default hairstyles: -- This is what you see when the mod starts, or when your hair grows. There is exactly one per length stage, typically a vanilla or KS Hairdo. These are applied once your hair grows to a longer stage. Default hairstyles are preconfigured as straight hairstyles. You can also define custom hairstyles as default hairstyles (which may for example be curly); see section below on "how to configure...". Standard hairstyles: -- This is what you get when you use "Shampoo". A selection of (straight) hairstyles. If you currently have the default hairstyle or another standard hairstyle, you may style your hair yourself to any standard (or the default) hairstyle at any time. A hairdresser can help you as well. Permed hairstyles: Special curly hairstyles. May only be applied by hairdresser. If permed, you can no longer style your hair to a standard style. You need to wait for a (configurable) amount of days, until you can perm your hair again or ask the hairdresser to remove your perm, or (optional) get your permed hair cut away. Braids: May be applied by yourself using "Elastic Hairband", if you hair is long enough, and you have a default/standard hair style. May be removed at any time by yourself. Ponytails: works exactly the same as braids. Pinned-up hair counts as ponytail. Buzzed nape: A special set of hairstyles, only available for neck and shoulder length. May only be applied by a hairdresser. May not be styled by yourself. To remove a “buzzed nape”, you need to let your hair grow to armpit length, or ask the hairdresser to cut it to ear length (or shorter). Mohawk: May only be applied by a hairdresser. May not be styled by yourself. Will require constant shaving of your head sides. Only way to remove a mohawk is to get your head completely shaved. May cause a fashion debuff (see Fashion Addiction below). Upon mod initialization, you may choose your natural hair color, which is then permanent. Later you can get a hair dye from a hairdresser, which will fade or grow out over time (can be configured in MCM). Player needs to sit down for a hair makeover or a professional manicure session; once you have chosen your style, you have about 25 seconds to find a chair, or you need to start over again. Hairdressers and fashion vendors can be found in most major cities of Skyrim. The following items can be purchased from any hairdresser (all have unlimited uses): Shampoo: A must have! Used to style your default or standard hair to another standard hairstyle. Has no effect on other hairstyles (though you can wash your hair with it). Elastic Hair Band: A must have! Used to style your hair as a ponytail or a braid. Brush: Used to revert a standard/braided/ponytail hairstyle to the default hairstyle. Has no effect on other hairstyles (though you can comb/brush your hair with it). Shaving Knife and Shaving Cream: Can be used to shave your head. Works only, if you have "long stubbles" or shorter hair; otherwise you need to find a hairdresser. Hairstyle Catalog: Used to preview any hairstyle and color for 5 seconds. Mirror: Get information about your current hair status, piercing status, makeup status, and fashion addiction / body hair status. Any hairdresser will also inform you about your status upon demand. Some items are for debugging/testing, and can be obtained via console: Generally, this mod assumes that you have natural straight (or slightly wavy hair). If you prefer naturally curled hair, you may set up your own set of custom hairstyles. When choosing a hair makeover, make sure that corresponding hairstyles are available. By default, short hair cannot be braided or made into a ponytail. Permed hair is not available for very short hair lengths. Compatible with all 3rd party hairstyle mods! This mod comes with about 820 preconfigured hairstyles (you will still need to install these hair mods to access these styles): - KS Hairdos (about 550 styles of all lengths and kinds, but no narrow mohawks; this is a strongly recommended add-on to this mod) - ApachiiSkyHairFemale_v_1_5 (about 100 styles, among them a few narrow mohawks of length stages 4,5,6) - ApachiiSkyHair_v_1_6_Full (42 styles) - KS Hairdos - HDT Physics (about 75 styles with hdt) - Lovely Hairstyles (about 25 styles, among them a few broad mohawks and buzzed nape cuts) - Merida Hair with physics (2 long perm hair styles with hdt) About 30 vanilla Skyrim hairstyles are also included. How to configure alternate default styles other 3rd party hairstyle mods: Check out here on how to make hair styling work for vampires. ---- OTHER FEATURES ---- (everything can be enabled/disabled in the MCM menu) IMMERSIVE PIERCING SYSTEM HIGH HEEL TRAINING -- High Heel Compatibility: PUBIC AND ARMPIT HAIR GROWTH IMMERSIVE NAIL POLISH SYSTEM LIPSTICK & EYESHADOW FASHION ADDICTION GENDER CHANGE ------------------------------------------------------- REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL VERSIONS (without them the mod won't run at all) SKSE SkyUI Fuz Ro D-oh PapyrusUtil REQUIREMENTS FOR FULL VERSION ONLY HDT HighHeels System - For the no HDT versions, HDT HighHeels is not required; NIOverride Heels will still work Sexlab - For the LITE versions, Sexlab is not required. 2. On the last update I was talking about converting Makehuman’s feet to Sims 4 and use it for my shoes, I also pondered about using other creators meshes. The problem with that approach is that the resulting shape is different from the one I’ve been using almost since the beginning, that means making two version of the same heels: one for Sims 3 and the other for 4. Since I got confident using Blender 2.8 I decided to remake the original “impossible feet” that in its last version (1.8) consisted in a subdivided mesh from EA’s with 3D toes extracted from Bloom’s Sexy Feet attached, more or less. As I talked before, the impossible feet has dozens upon dozens of errors: double vertices, badly texture distortion, blockiness and more important: a big seam between feet and toes that makes open shoes design tricky. By using a dozen or so of vertices as base I duplicated the original mesh and fixed blockiness in arch and ankle while keeping everything as tidy as possible, this last step was important because from it the UV generated would be easier to manipulate and have less stretching. Then I reduced the polycount from makehuman’s toes and integrated it for real this time at the end of the modified mesh. Compared to version 1.8 this one is a little bit larger and wider on both toes and ankle area, something I’d experimented before but because the original lacks vertices where I needed I wasn’t able to apply the modifications. Why I didn’t re-used Bloom’s toes/feet? Because that mesh has a layout that works perfectly for normal feet, but gets harder to manipulate when modifying the shape, mine already has the shape it only needed (a lot of) refinement. *Wait a minute. That looks for the Sims 3, what happened to S4’s version?* Sims 4 version will be created from this one, which will keep the shape intact. Adding a second or third row of vertices without messing with the UV is doable on Blender, and the UV layout itself will be a lot easier to adapt. What I’m showing you represents a progress around 75%, I would be lying if I told you this has been a walk in the park, far from it..., but after several tests I’m very confident on the final result. So if you’ve already waited until this point I’ll ask you to wait a bit more. Starting to learn Blender 2.8 (even in its beta state) was a good decision, upcoming CC will show it. Thanks for reading!

  5. This entry should have been posted six weeks ago but as some people say: better (super)late than never. Why I stopped using the feet I adapted from Bloom’s Sexy Feet? The answer is simple: Blooms UV map doesn’t work for hyper high heels, I don’t doubt someone with talent could make it work; but after hundreds of modifications I ended with blocky feet, borked normals and a lot of stretching and misalignment on the textures (again, my fault, not Bloom’s). Of course at “normal” distance those problems almost disappear but I noticed them every single time I opened Milkshape to edit some shoes, so I had to try to correct all my mistakes. I started working on the default naked feet from the base game. But why if they lack even more detail? That’s correct but at the same time the left and right feet’s UV maps are practically the same so I could take care of the changes more easily and avoid most stretching. So first I manipulated the default feet with help of this texture, without it I wouldn’t have noticed how rotating and moving the vertices changed the texture’s layout. Once I was pleased with the shape I subdivided the mesh by 4, so from the original 336 polygons it jumped to 1344, that allowed me to put extra work on the shape, at least in areas like the arch and the upper-ankle. These feet aren’t %100 anatomically correct (one of many reasons for the “Impossible” moniker) but the jump in polygons allowed me to eliminate a lot of rough edges. Before you start to apply “subdivide” to every mesh in the game, there’s a very important detail: the seams. If you left them untouched those extra vertices will transform in white points once in-game and everybody and their grandma will notice them regardless of graphic settings, script mods, cc, skins, etc. To fix them you need to do four things: Join vertices using the “Snap Together” function (yes I know is the “wrong” way, bear with me for a second). With this you go from 16 vertices to the original 8. Of course doing this will move the seam vertices out of position. To fix it use “Wes H Merge Tools” to put everything back to its default place. Now go to the “Texture Coordinate Editor” and you will notice the extra vertices are still there, with a lot of patience you’ll just “join” every extra vertex with the original manually, otherwise textures and patterns won’t match on the seams. Finally once you’re happy with the result select the mesh, go to “Tools” and then select “Model Cleaner”. Select “No” when asked about “separate verts” and voila! Obviously these are just the general steps and it’s not as easy as it sounds so I only recommend you to try this once you’re completely familiarized with a Milkshape3D (or your favorite 3D editor) + TS3 mod tools. I still haven’t talked about the elephant in the room: the 3D toes, where are they? Easy, they’re nowhere. The reason is half the problems I had with normals, textures and the shape came from there, so to reclaim whatever’s left of my mental health I decided to forget about them. I’m planning to make a version for sandals and open shoes with 3d toes (and maybe 3d nails) just don’t expect it anytime soon (Q2 2016 sounds like a nice, cozy projection). So these are the feet I’m going to use from now on, if for whatever reason you like the originals better extract them from the “Rhinestone Sandals” and use them however you like, you can even repurpose the .package/.sims3package as the base for new shoes that will preserve the elevation effect (obviously you’ll need to replace the textures/meshes), this works better on TSRW. I’m also experimenting on other “body parts” but that’s talk for another day, week, month, trimester. Thanks for reading, see you at the SimLab. (yes, I’m uploading stuff in the next 24hrs!)

Then you can convert them to light (leather/iron category) or heavy version (iron category), reverse conversion is not possible. Light/heavy version has an insane armor value, so there is a high probability that followers will use them. "Barefoot shoes" are the exception: you cannot craft them, you must use the console to add them (player.additem ID COUNT) Item ID's: Turbosnowy made a video, better than all my screenshots: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi2SxV9hhIo Installation: Install CBBE (I don't know if it will work with other body mods). 9. Someone tell the devil there’s a chance of snowing this week... After further review almost every pair of feet available for Sims 4 is too high-poly. I learned from my experience from Sims 3 that manipulating high detail meshes tends to stretch the UV map, making patterns and textures deformed at best. So I’m resurrecting one of my (many) abandoned projects, this was supposed to be the original “Impossible Feet” for Sims 3 before I left it, partially because my understanding of Blender was non-existent (and probably still is). So I extracted the feet from “Make Human” and started reducing polygons where isn’t needed (everywhere except for the toes) and left enough in areas that normally lack detail (like the arch). Also because Sims 4 UV map is cleaner than Sims 3 I believe I won’t have too many problems adapting to it. So in resume, I’ve more control of shape and UV compared to modifying someone else mesh, although if this blows on my face like many other attempts before I’m probably going to choose Hiroki’s feet. This is the last step before releasing my first pair of Impossible Heels for Sims 4. See you (hopefully) next saturday.
  10. Converting any pair of ‘Impossible Heels’ to Sims 4 is... possible (pun intended) because I can mix my workflow (Metasequoia for creating the shoes, Blender to fix UV/normals and Milkshape for the final touch) with Cmar’s S4CASTools. As a matter of fact you could only use Milkshape to: separate S3's shoes and feet from a .geom or .wso scale the shoes to adapt them to S4’s new feet rearrange the UV map use S4CasTools for bone assignment As usual I’m oversimplifying the whole process but If you’re familiar with the aforementioned tools, plus use Redheadsims shoes slider and don’t want to wait for me you could already make the conversion yourself, the only missing piece is the feet. I already adapted Sims 4 feet to the “Impossible Feet” shape, but I’m not 100% convinced and of course it won’t look right when using sandals or any other type or open shoes, the options are making a more detailed feet or modify someone elses, so that’s what I’m going to concentrate next.
  11. Yeah I know, not my best pair of shoes. The objective was to test Redheadsims slider, it remembers me to a similar one made by Cmar for Sims 3 many moons back. I exported the mesh from PumpsHighPointed using S4CASTools and hastily modified it on Milkshape, I just wanted to make something ‘high’ so I didn’t care for shape, height units, texture distortion, LODs, etc. Then imported back the modified mesh, it’s a very simple process mainly because I’m just changed the shape of the original mesh, when trying to import my self-made meshes I’ve found all kinds of problems but I have plenty of time to figure it out. I’m going to continue making tests, I don’t expect to find anything catastrophic beyond clipping while seated, on furniture and misalignment while interacting with other sims (the same happens on Sims 3). I also need to see how the heels interact with custom animation/poses, other mods, etc.
